Good morning/afternoon/evening, folks.

Yes, you have read the chapter title correctly, and it is with a heavy heart that I have come to this conclusion.

I know that there have been a few people hoping for another chapter, and for that I am very sorry that this news has been brought to you so suddenly.

The truth is that HHIEOY was the kick-off to my writing career; it was the first project that I actually stuck to, and as a result not only have I found my passion for historical fiction, but I've learned an awful lot about my writing style. If you look at the first chapters of Act 1 and compare them to the more recent of Act 2, you can clearly see the progress that has been made.

However, there are things that must be let go of in order to progress towards bigger goals. I will be starting university soon enough, and my career as a writer will progress - I do not believe that this progression should remain here on Wattpad, as much as it pains me to have to let this go. HHIEOY has been quite an amazing opportunity for me, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I would like to thank every single one of you for this phenomenal journey. It feels like only yesterday that I was sat in the middle of a cinema at midnight, November 2018, writing that first chapter which would later be published in January. Truly, in the words of Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton: look at where we are, look at where we've started.

To those who have followed, commented, even the ones who have silently read along or done it ironically for a laugh: thank you all so much. You are all what bring life to this book.

And before I sign off, a HUGE thank you to NapsStrikesAgain. The sheer amount of help and support that you have offered towards this has been incredible. I cannot appreciate you enough.

I hope that this book has brought comfort and escapism to as many of you out there as possible, and I hope that I can inspire future writers to let their imagination go absolutely wild with whatever they may want! :)
