Good morning/afternoon/evening, lovelies! I hope you're having a wonderful Christmas, and if you don't celebrate, a likewise wonderful winter!

I would start to start off by saying that I do apologise for not publishing a chapter in over half of a year. I am ashamed in my inability to do so, to say the least, and I'd expect that most of you have moved on and/or forgotten about this entirely by now.

However, it seems that there is a light at the end of every tunnel.

For these months, I have been in discussion with my dearest friend NapsStrikesAgain who has been my primary source of encouragement for choosing not to discontinue HHIEOY. It reached the extent that he wrote out a chapter for me that I could review, edit and publish for you all, but still my non-existent motivation to do so was my harmatia. I felt that I had severely let him down.

The opposite effect was given to me, and thus, today I decided that I would discontinue the story. Nonetheless, Naps stood in protest of this, and has made the offer to take over in writing.

Now this is not set in stone. We have come to the agreement that he is willing to write the chapters, to which I will review and publish them (on this same book) under his name as the author. The decision will be made in the coming days as to whether this shall be for the long run, or if HHIEOY will come to its final end.

Especially for those who have been with us from early on, it would be no surprise that this may be a startling prospect, seeing as I have been the sole author for these three years. However, I would not gladly give this position over if I did not trust Naps. Truly, he is a phenomenal writer, and I believe that to be willing to take on such a large project as this demonstrates his sheer ability and commitment.

I cannot thank him enough for what he is prepared to do here, and I sincerely hope that he is given all of the unconditional support that he rightfully deserves if he chooses to take this on fully. I urge you to go and check out some of his works! 😄

So yes, in summary, I will have much less involvement in this series from here on in. Of course, I will still be here to read your lovely comments, but NapsStrikesAgain shall be acting as your author (for the time being). I thank you all for the kindness that you have shown to me over these three years, and keep smiling!

Now, I'd like to clarify a few things. For starters, the story is still going to follow Starlight's grand design, so don't worry about me changing everything. I am a big fan of this story and just couldn't see it end! Also, I am in no way attempting to replace Starlight; simply consider this a new era of HHIEOY going forward!
