I take a lot of pride in my research to construct a believable story line. This is one of the reasons why it took so long to update, because I wanted to do some research into the meaning of flowers for my scene to take form and thread its magic.

For me, the flowers I selected and their colours correspond so well to Ashwin-Sivaangi and their relationship, whether in real or in my story.

So here is the meaning behind the colour of the flowers.

Purple clematis mean royalty and as a climbing vine, they represent aspiration and goals, like a ladder to help you reach your dreams. Also, Purple clematises symbolise balance and finding a beautiful harmony in differences.

This is the kind of setting I was thinking about, at least for the arch.

Red clematis mean passion, energy, and romantic love. They indicate a wish to see the relationship grow, evolve, and withstand the test of time with always the same passion.

Pink chrysanthemums symbolise longevity, feelings of gentle affection, attraction, and romance. They are great for a first date or a new love.

Red chrysanthemums symbolise romantic love, strong feelings, and deep passion.

White roses indicate innocence and purity and of course, red roses symbolise passion and romantic love.
