~Willow's POV~

Thank God. It's finally Monday, school is over, and I am spending the rest of the week with the Cullen's. Who do I have to thank for this? Well, that's simple. Alice and Bella.

Why? Let me catch you up.

flashback

I was bombarded all morning by Bella and thankfully Dad got fed up.

"Bella!" He shouted.

"What?!" She asks, defensive.

"Will you please stop bothering Willow. Whatever the hell is going on between you two, you can't see that you're bothering her. She just got out of the hospital and needs to rest and relax, and you're not really helping. Will you just leave her alone?" Dad said.

"But Dad-"

"No buts, leave her alone. I'm thankful I got a text from Alice last night. Willow, if you have any problems at school or if Bella bothers you about something, you can spend the rest of the week over at the Cullens." Dad cuts her off.

"What?" I ask surprised.

"Yeah. Alice got a talk from Carlisle who was concerned about your mental health from the accident and wanted to watch over you. I thought it would be okay for you to stay over since his kids are so keen on having you over anyway." Dad states.

"But Dad, that's not fair! Why do they just want Willow?" Bella asks, childishly.

"Why have I never noticed this side of her before?" I thought to myself.

"I thought I just told you. Dr. Cullen is worried about her mental health. After all, she did nearly get crushed by a car." Dad answered, stating a point, which made her shut up. Thank God.

Honk
Honk

"Oh, that would be my ride. I'll see you after school Dad. I'll probably need that bag anyway. Knowing Alice, I really will stay over whether it's good for me or not." I say while laughing before headed for the door.

"There you are! I thought I'd have to come in and save you." Alice said relieved.

"You almost did. Bella's getting more determined to find out. Edward better be careful." I replied getting in, ignoring the staring Bella watching from the doorway.

Flashback ends.

Right now I am grabbing my bag, I walk outside to see Alice and Jasper waiting for me, but just in time for Bella to pull in. Getting out she storms over to me and grabs my wrist before I could get to their car.

"Bella let go." I told her trying to pull free.

"Wait. I just want to talk." She said, pleading.

"Well go on." I reply, monotone.

"I was just wanting to tell you that I was sorry about the constant questions. I thought it was a bit unfair that they told you and didn't tell me-" I decided to cut her off by pulling my hand away.

"Bella! They didn't tell me anything. I don't know how Edward got over to us so fast, nor do I care. All I give a damn about is that we made it out alive. That's all so will you drop it!" I exclaim, and thankfully Jasper started to calm me down.

"Now if you'll excuse me, my friends are waiting for me." I say before making my way over to Alice. Bella tried to come over to me, but Jasper got in her way and glared at her.

Quickly speeding off, we made it to their house faster than last week.

"Are you ok?" Alice asks.

"Me? Of course. I love being bombarded by someone whose supposed to be my sister asking questions about a family that has a major secret that I don't really want to tell anyone. Oh and the girl drives me crazy and one of my best friends has a major crush on her. So yeah, perfectly fine." I say with total sarcasm.

Emmett and Jasper bust out chuckling while Alice held back a giggle.

"In all seriousness, are you alright?" Rosalie asks.

"I am. Just tired and more exhausted then ever. It's been hard to meditate lately and I don't think I can go on the field trip if I can't calm myself down." I answer holding my head as we finally arrive at the Cullen house.

"I know it's only been a week since you've been in the hospital, but how's your shoulder?" Jasper asks, helping me walk up the steps.

"It's fine. The bruise is finally gone but the pain still lingers. It helps if I meditate." I answer as we made it to the living room to find Carlisle in the kitchen.

"Hello everyone. How was school?" He asks like a loving father.

"Hell." Everyone but me answers.

"Let me guess." He paused dramatically. "Bella."

"Yes. She is getting really annoying." Rosalie says.

"She keeps bothering mom." Jasper replies.

"Plus, Edward won't stop looking at her. Because of the accident she's becoming more and more obsessed with us. And since she knows Willow was involved, she won't stop bothering her either." Alice rants, and not even Jasper was able to calm her down.

"Alice, look at me." I cup her cheeks and looked right into her eyes. "Everything is going to be fine. But we cannot panic. It won't do us any good. Just keep track of your visions of Bella and then tell us. We need to stay one step ahead in case she does anything." She nods her head and hugs me. I hug back as Edward joined us.

"I'm sorry." Edward says.

"For what?" I ask, walking up to him.

"For liking her. It's causing this family nothing but trouble, and now it's hurting you. I'm sorry, mom." Edward explains, venom tears building up but were unable to fall.

I swiftly pulled him into a hug and let him dry sob into my shoulder.

"Now you listen to me, Edward Cullen. No one blames you for falling in love. It's a part of who you are. Your kind is allowed to fall in love, and is allowed to be happy. No one should blame you for it." I tell him. "Right, Rosalie?"

I pull away to turn my head, she was shocked but lowered her head, she knew she was in trouble.

"I'm sorry, mom. It's just, I don't like her. Plus, she is getting close to knowing about us, and she's hurting you. I don't want anyone to take you away from me." Rosalie rants, also starting to dry sob.

"Listen to me. All of you. No one will ever take me away. I care too much about this family to let you all go that easily. I don't plan on going anywhere. You got that?" I said, their eyes all lit up and smiled. Carlisle's was the biggest.

"We love you, Willow." Alice states, her happy attitude returns.

"I know." I reply.

"We also have a surprise for you as well." Alice says.

"Really?" I ask. She nods.

"Let's get you changed." She drags me up the stairs and to her room and picked out some clothes for me.

~Carlisle's POV~

"Are you absolutely sure? It's a little soon." I ask for the 5th time since Alice left with Willow.

"Yes, Carlisle. I read Alice's mind. She told through her mind that you decided to tell her. You take her on a picnic in the woods and tell her. You tell her everything." Edward answered.

"I guess I'm just nervous is all." I say, hugging my arms.

"Carlisle. Alice's visions haven't changed. She will accept you." Rosalie replies.

"How can you be so sure?" I ask, pleading for an answer.

"Because. All she's ever wanted was to be loved." Rosalie answers. Hearing that made me feel confidence. Wait a minute...

"Thank you, Jasper." I said out loud.

"No problem." Jasper replies with a smile.

I flashed to my newly designed room, thank you Alice, and got dressed up. A nice navy blue button up with jeans. Nothing too fancy, but still nice enough.

I flashed out of the room and to the spot Alice recommended. I set up the blankets and got the sweets ready.

~Willow's POV~

Once Alice had done finished dressing me up, I loved it once I looked in the mirror. She smiles as she guided me out of the house and down the trail. I went down the trail for nearly 2 minutes before coming across some candles. I lifted my head a bit to see Carlisle. He was standing above a picnic blanket with a basket off to the side. Candles surrounded us to give us some light.

"Nice spread? How long did it take you? 5? 10 Seconds? I bet you could have done it faster?" I joke, earning a chuckle.

"That was funny. Real cute." He walks over with a smile so bright and held his hand out for me. I take it and notice how fit he looked in his button up. He was casual, but still handsome. "You look gorgeous."

"I'm not really wearing anything fancy. I can't stand the heat so the cold doesn't bother me." I reply, hoping I didn't look like a slut or something.

"I'm glad. The kids were worried if the cold bothered you by our touch." He said, gently rubbing his thumb against my hand.

"It never did. Although, I don't remember if I even noticed. I just liked being around them." I reply, gently swinging his hand side to side, which made him smile.

"We like being around you as well. You bring happiness to this family. Whether you think you do or not. We love you, Willow." Carlisle said, without taking a breath.

I smile as he led me to sit down on the blankets as the sun set, creating a romantic setting. He pulled out a big box from the basket to reveal my most favorite sweet. Chocolate covered strawberries.

He lifted one out and fed it to me. It went on until my 6th one where I needed to give my teeth a break from the amazing taste. I took a glance at Carlisle to find that he was gazing at me with an ever-loving look. I couldn't control my blush.

"Carlisle." I spoke. I get a hum response. "Do you remember that day that I told you, I could feel you hiding something from me?"

"Yes." He answers.

"I want to talk to you about it. Why do you feel the need to hide things from me, even after me knowing almost everything about the family?" I ask.

"What do you by 'almost everything'?" Carlisle asks.

"I feel as if I don't know much about you. Can we talk about you? I want to know more. Please?" I got on my knees and beg, but kept my face pouting, knowing he would cave. Emmett dared me the other night to tease Carlisle, and he caves when I pout. It was kind of adorable and funny at the same time.

"Well, at first, I was afraid it would overwhelm you since the others were telling you about them." Carlisle explains.

"I understand." I reply. "But, can we talk about you now? Only if you want too."

"I don't mind. What would you like to know?" He asks with a smile.

"Everything. Can you start from the beginning?" I ask with a soft smile.

"Around the era I was born, time wasn't marked very well. But, I do know that it was about 1640, in London." Carlisle starts.

"That the time of religious and political upheaval. Right?" I ask.

"Very good." He answered. I blush again.

"My father was a pastor, but he didn't just talk about the Lord. He led the other pastors on hunts. They hunted down werewolves, witches... and vampires." Carlisle says.

"Seriously?" I ask shocked. He nods.

"I was against it, but when my father grew older it became my responsibility to lead the hunts. I despised it, knowing that it ended up with innocent victims dead. As much as I hated hunting, I was much more intelligent than my father. I found the coven of vampires as they were hiding in the sewers. I led the hunt after them, but that's when the chaos came to be." Carlisle explains. I was so entranced when he was talking, I didn't want him to stop. "During the chaos, I was attacked, bitten. I knew what my father would do if I returned, so I hid in the sewers."

"What was the transformation like? Is it different for every other person or?" I ask.

"You would think. But unfortunately, it's the same. It is this burning pain that runs through our entire body. It works through your every vein until it stops your heart. The time varies depending on where you are bitten. I was in three days of hell." He pauses, taking in a breath. "I felt so bad of what I had become.... I tried to kill myself." My eyes widen in shock, then turned sympathetic as I hugged him.

Hugging back, I was practically sitting in between his legs as he holds me close.

"Once I had woken up to find out what I had become, I was horrified with it all. I just wanted to die. I tried many ways, starvation, drowning and jumping off cliffs. They didn't work." He stops, taking a glance at me, I nod my head. "Eventually I was very hungry for blood. While hiding in this cave in the forest, I attacked a herd of deer."

"So that's how you became vegetarians?" I ask with a smile.

"Yes. I found that our kind could survive without killing humans. Over the next few centuries, I was able to control my thirst. Years and years of study and practice, I became a doctor. When I was studying in Italy, I came across others like me." Carlisle answered.

"Who were they? Were they friendly?" I ask, tilting my head.

"Yes. Their names are Aro, Caius and Marcus. They had their own coven, calling themselves 'The Volturi'. They accepted me as I was feeling lonely, they happily took me in. Once in a while they would try to turn my diet, I found it humorous at their failed attempts, it made Marcus laugh at Caius and Aro's failure." Carlisle answers, which made me giggle.

"How long did you live with them?" I ask.

"About 2 decades." He answers.

"If you were with them for so long, and they accepted you into their coven, how come you are not with them now?" I ask, hoping he isn't getting annoyed with me yet.

"During the time I was with them, I did enjoy being in company of those like me, even if our diets were different. But over time, I found they didn't care for our kind as those who disobeyed the laws we have. They thirsted for humans so much, their taste for it was too much for me. I decided to leave...." He trailed off.

"To become a doctor." I finish, earning a smirk and peck on the cheek.

"Good girl." He comments, I smack his chest playfully which made him chuckle.

"I'm glad you were able to pursue what you wanted to be. Not letting anyone hold you back." I say, leaning my head against his chest, his hand ran through my hair.

"I'm glad as well. Otherwise I wouldn't have made my own coven..... my family." Carlisle whispers the last bit in my ear, making me shiver. Which only led to him pulling me closer into his chest, leaving no space between us.

"Hey, Carlisle?"

"Hmm."

"I want to know something, about vampires. Can they make you feel... something, for someone?" I ask.

"Feel what, Willow?" He asks, making it hard for me to choose my words.

"I mean. God this is hard to explain." I sigh, just wanting to say it. "Can vampires, get crushes?" Carlisle was silent, then I felt him hold me even more soothing than he was.

"You know how Alice and Jasper are together? The same for Emmett and Rosalie?" Carlisle asks. I nod my head.

"We Cold Ones have what you humans refer to as 'soulmates'. Two halves, destined to become one." Carlisle says.

"You sound as if you know. You must have found your mate, have you?" I reply, trying my damnedest to not let him see me cry.

"I did." Carlisle reveals, which made my heart sink. No idea why. "And she is close. So close, I could hold her in my arms, see the beautiful red hair she has. And most importantly, her favorite color is red, and she is the only girl I've ever had my eyes on."

I froze. That description. It couldn't be. Lifting my head up, I saw in plain view, he was looking straight at me. It can't be me, could it?

"Me?" I ask in a whisper.

"You are my entire life, Willow. You mean everything to me. From the moment I first saw you, that day you came into the hospital. I felt the pumps from my non-beating heart. You are my other half, Willow. I cannot live without you now." Carlisle spoke to me, love filled his every word. I couldn't help but lean up and put my lips against his. When I realized what I was doing, I pulled away embarrassed.

"I'm sorry. I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't mean to-" I was cut off when Carlisle cups my cheeks and pulls me back. Kissing me, I put my hands on his shoulders to stop myself from shaking.

"You have no reason to apologize." He says in a whisper. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that for." I smile, not wanting to hide my blush any longer. "You have no idea how hard it's going to be to keep my hands off of you now." I felt his hands move down to my sides and rub my exposed skin.

"Who said I wanted you to?" I ask with a small smile.

His smile grew wider, and before I knew it I was underneath him on the blanket with him hovering above me. Holding himself up, I watched as he leans down and kisses me again.

I felt like I was in heaven. We were like two puzzle pieces, meant to fit in place.

I had no idea how long we were kissing, but my breath was taken away from me.

~Carlisle's POV~

I had the exact time we've been kissing. About 34 minutes exactly. When I pulled away to let her breathe, I let her finish off the strawberries as we just talked back and forth. She told me she once dreamed of being an artist before her powers came into the light.

About 14 minutes later, it struck 10 pm. As I was about to tell her we should go, only to find that she had fallen asleep in my arms. Smiling, I pick her up bridal style before flashing home.

"How'd it go?" Alice asks, greeting us at the backdoor.

"Very well. She accepted me." I answer, then held my forehead against hers as she slept.

"That's great." Emmett says.

"Wonderful." Jasper replies.

"We're really happy for you, Carlisle." Rosalie says.

I smile at my kids, before walking up the stairs and laid her down on Alice's bed. Alice was still getting our room ready as a surprise. I just hope she will like it.
