Fury had wandered off after our little chat, Thor and I stood on the edge of the control room, looking out of the large length window. Just soaking in the peacefulness of the clouds and the night sky. How far up were we? I thought to myself, but I didn't mind the height.

"So, how did you come across us?" Thor asked his voice rugged and just could melt me into nothing.

"In a book that I have, I thought it wasn't real, but here you are. Red cape and all," I smirk to myself, but out the corner of my eye I see him smirk to himself. My smirk dimmed as I thought about the worse outcome.

"What trouble's you?" Thor asked softly but held a firm tone. I turn my head to see him staring at me with a slightly worried look.

I sighed deeply, brushing my hair out of the way. "The worst outcome. If he does open that portal, then we are screwed. He's the God of Mischief and Fire, Thor. He may be your brother, but he is deadly, and I feel like you know that" I said honestly, worried gleamed in his eyes as he stared at me because he knew that I was right, but before he could speak, an agent came rushing towards us.

"You're needed in the lab," he states to Thor, as he gives the agent a firm nod, before turning to me. His face had no clue where the lab was, I chuckled at his unwavering expression.

"Let's go. I know where it is," I state, as I began to walk, to the corridors of the carrier.

We walked down a hallway, finding the lab quickly and at the same time we walked in Natasha was also walking in. With not a good look on her face. As we entered, I saw Cap had a gun on the table that he located somewhere. However, Natasha had her eyes straight on Banner.

"Did you know about this?" He states, his eyes never leaving hers and he looked pissed.

"You wanna think about removing yourself from this environment, doctor?" Natasha barked back at him.

"I was in Calcutta, I was pretty well removed," he replied, angry flashing in his eyes, he would rather be there than here.

"Loki's manipulating you," Nat states. But would he have the power to do that right from his cell?

"And you've been doing what exactly?" The doctor barks back at her.

"You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you."

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy--" he goes over to a monitor that hands from the ceilings, that held blueprints for something called 'Phase 2' "I'd like to know why SHIELD is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction,"

The room was silent for a moment before Fury spoke up. "Because of him," he points to Thor.

Thor took a moment to realise that he was pointing at him and was stunned. "Me?"

"Last year earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that levelled a small town. We learned that not only we are not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned," Nick explained to us.

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet," Thor snapped back, sounding offended.

"But you're not the only people out there, are you? And you're not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, they can't be controlled," Fury carried on his rant. If only they knew about Demons and all the magically community.

"Like you controlled the cube?" Cap was not impressed.

"Your work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is the signal to all the realms that the earth is ready for a higher form of war," Thor states as he made his point clear with the Tesseract, and that they shouldn't have messed with it.

"A higher form?" I was confused on what he meant. Were Demons never enough now? We had to throw Alien's in too.

"You forced our hand. We had to come up with something," Nick states, looking back to Thor.

"Nuclear deterrent. 'Cause that always calms everything right down," Stark states cockily.

"Remind me again how you made your fortune, Stark?" Nick said, turning to look at him.

"I'm sure if he still made his weapons, Stark would be neck deep," Cap states, stepping forward a bit.

"Wait! Wait! Hold on, how is this now about me," Stark added, sounding pissed that it now moved to him.

"I'm sorry, isn't everything?" Cap announced, looking at him with a wild look.

"I thought humans were more evolved than this," Thor had now added to the mix. I really didn't like the way this was turning out for everyone in the room.

"Excuse me, did we come to your planet and blow stuff up?" Nick said, taken back by his comment as he turned his whole body to Thor.

"Did you always give your champions such mistrust?" Thor states to Nick. This was not getting out of hand, they were going at each other's neck, and I stood behind Thor, not saying a word. Each other then 'talked' if that is what you called it. Tony and Cap going at it. Thor, Banner, Natasha and Fury going at each other.

Natasha began to move to stand next to Nick to talk, but before she was halfway. I flicked my hands out to the back of Thor, and suddenly everything in the room froze.

"That's enough of that. Thank you," I state aloud as they were frozen. But I couldn't keep them like this forever. A spell would be helpful right now. Just then, Thor began to adjust through my freeze.

Shit! But I suppose I had that coming. God and all.

Before he could adjust anymore, I waved my hand and the room became unfrozen, all going back to their arguing like nothing had happened. But Thor looked behind to stare at me, like he knew something had happened, I gave him a quick smile as he brushed it off and turned back to the others. Moments went by, I had moved further into the lab, standing next to Thor.

You speak of control, yet you court chaos," he spoke, casting his gaze between Nick.

"It's his M.O., isn't it? I mean, what are we, a team? No, no, no. We're a chemical mixture that makes chaos. We're...we're a time-bomb," Banner replied.

Fury spins to look at Banner. "You need to step away,"

"Why shouldn't the guy let off a little steam?" Tony states, as he puts his arm around Cap.

"You know damn well why! Back off!" Cap raised his voice at Stark, as he pushed his arm off his shoulder.

"Oh, I'm starting to want you to make me," Tony states, squaring up to Cap.

"Big man in a suit of armour. Take that off, what are you?"

"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist," he states smugly like he was proud of it. I raised an eyebrow in agreement though because it was true, he was all those things.

"I know guys with none of that worth ten of you. Yeah, I've seen the footage," Cap replied back, his eyes staring into Tony's every breaking for a second. "The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you,"

God this is so intense. I can taste the testosterone filling the air.

"I think I would just cut the wire," Tony smugly states.

Cap smiles, cocking an eyebrow up. "Always a way out...You know, you may be a threat, but you better stop pretending to be a hero,"

Burn! But Tony's eyes shined with anger, it could be seen plain as day, he was pissed.

"A hero? Like you? You're a lab rat, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle!" Steve looked angry at that comment, his chest puffs up at Tony, who was unmoving, just standing there.

"Put on the suit, let's go a few rounds," Cap announces to him. Seeing if he would accept the challenge. However, Thor begins to laugh at my side, making me twist my head to him.

"You people are so petty... and tiny," Thor states, I shoot him a look. As I see Tony rub his head and move away from Cap.

"Yeah, this is a tee..." Banner added to the conversation.

"Agent Romanoff, would you escort Dr. Banner back to his..." Nick states but was cut off by Banner.

"Where? You rented my room," Banner states annoyed. So that big cell was for him, maybe I'm like missing something so important.

"The cell was just in case..." Nick still couldn't finish his statement, as Banner interjected once again.

"In case you needed to kill me, but you can't! I know! I tried!" As soon he said the words, everyone in the room became quiet and all eyes were on him. He looked slightly uncomfortable with the glares. "I got low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out! So, I moved on. I focused on helping other people. I was good, until you dragged me back into this freak show and put everyone here at risk!" Banner had finished off; I think everyone in the room was shocked. Banner was getting upset as he looked over to Natasha, who got unnerved by his stare. "You wanna know my secret, Agent Romanoff? You wanna know I stay calm?" As he spoke, he didn't know what he was doing or what he was grabbing at the time. I see Fury and Natasha slowly put their hands on their guns.

I was ready to do something if need be, but as everyone just stared at the doctor, Thor came slightly forward standing in front of me, ready to protect me.

"Doctor Banner... put down the sceptre," Cap had spoken up as he stared at Banner with a pleading stare. Just then Banner looked down and a stunned expression came to his face as he noticed that he was holding Loki's sceptre. Suddenly, a computer beeps and we all turn to it.

"Got it," Tony states, looking at the computer. Just as Banner puts down the sceptre on the table that it was on before he picked it up, unknowingly. He made his way over to the computer.

"Sorry, kids. You don't get to see my little party trick after all," he states as he reached the computer to look over it.

"Located the Tesseract?" Thor asked quickly, wanting to get it before something bad happens.

"I can get there faster," Tony replied to the group. Come on, we know I could get there faster.

"The tesseract belongs on Asgard, no human is a match for it," Thor states strongly and I believed him on that. But Tony turns to leave, but Cap stops him once again.

"You're not going alone!" Cap raised his voice at Tony, making them match off again.

"You gonna stop me?"

"Put on the suit, let's find out," Cap glared at Tony, they both held anger in their eyes once again.

"I'm not afraid to hit an old man," Tony states cockily. God the testosterone is so strong right now.

"There's too much testosterone in this lab," I state aloud as eyes just landed on me, all had not impressed looks on their faces. "What? You're both banging heads, but you can see the real threat out there," The truth just came out, I didn't even care right now. They had to put their differences aside and work together as a team.

Suddenly, I heard Banner say something, but his voice was worried and full of concern. Then an explosion erupted in the lab, sending all of us in different directions. I was thrown to the right as the explosion hit, gaining momentum in the air only to crash as quickly to the floor...
