Trender did a scan of the woods, they were all coming in one direction. A few from the back, he said there were about six hundred, and sixty-six.

Lovely.

We were all split up into teams of three. Jeff decided to hang with Smile Dog, and I.
Toby was with his Proxy trio, the Slender brothers together, and BEN was with Sonic, and Radio Head.

What do we do? I know we haven't had enough training. We aren't ready! There's so many of them, and though we are experienced killers, these are demons. We have never killed demons. At least not this many. The cold air seemed to tighten around me.
Jeff sensed my worry, and grabbed my hand giving it a light squeeze, his dark eyes looking into my now dark ones. 
"Have faith in us." He eyes said. 

Suddenly an idea came to my head.
"Guys?!" I sent out to the Slender brothers "What if I can set up a force field? If the demons try to pass it it cold freeze them!"
"I don't like it." Trender said "It sounds to risky, and you could be very weakened by it."
"Offender." Trender said "We can take them in the woods quickly, but they will have to deal with the rest. Can she put it up?"
There was a rumble in the trees. They were close. 
"Go for the front side, we can take the back. Make it a semicircle okay?"
"You've got it dude." I smirked, and rushed forward.
"Jeff!" I said, my feet rushing faster than I could think "Stay twenty feet behind me, and keep your guard up!"
I was at the edge of the forest, the trees rumbling still, I could sense them. There were three hundered and thirty-three on our side, the other half behind us. They were powerful. I could feel their energy choking me, and I could only ignore it to the best of my abilities.

I backed up about five feet, than jumped. Feeling my hands turn to ice. 
"Make a force field. Please."  I begged this power.
My hands made contact with the ground, and I focused on the power and shape of the force field. Semicircle, and what the force field can do. Freeze them to death. 

By the time I felt it was done, I didn't realize that I was panting, sweat had been damping me, making me look as if I had just gone for a swim. My limbs felt like jello, and I turned around to look at the male behind me, our group of Pastas had followed him.
I coughed up something that looked like my lunch, and wobbled to my feet. Jeff meeting me halfway, to catch me.
"Easy you dumbass!" he hissed, as I slouched against him.
He was so warm, and I was farm from that. I wanted to hang onto him, but I willed myself to stand straight, panting still. Now we waited, I drew my weapon as the first demon hit the force field. Their life force sucked straight from them, their body his the ground, and shattered. I felt so good for some odd reason, stronger almost.

Many more came after that, soon they became smart enough to try to go around it, to figure out where it ended. They failed so many times. I soon realized that they could not see the crystal blue ice like half dome that I could.

I smirked as each body fell to the ground shattering. We were not needed here, not for a while. I was unsure of how long it would hold. These demons learned fast though, and I knew they would go for the back where we would be outnumbered.
"EVERYONE GO TO THE BACK!" I yelled, and we ran. spilting off in a half to the other side. 

I stayed with Jeff fumbling behind the first group as we went for the right side of the house. I felt strong but my body was failing to show it.
We made it to the side of the house when the first demon came through, it was a giant bird mashed together with a human, I wanted to barf on it. Instead I jumped at it, grabbing it by the beak, pushing it down to the ground, as we began to wrestle. It was thirty seconds before I slashed its throat open.
I got up again just in time to see Smile nearly dodge another demon, smaller. It was a new one, a babe one would say. Jeff came behind it pushing his knife into its skull. The demon slumped to the ground before it could register a cry.

the fighting continued. We met up with Toby some time, and saw the Trio in action, and it was so glorious. They moved like ninjas, showed not a second of struggling.
Fifteen minutes or so later, I felt it. The force field was breaking, I could feel one demon breaking it, he had about one hundred others with him. They must have stayed behind to wait for the field to go down. Bastards.

"JEFF!" I cried out "The field is breaking!" 
"Go to the front, and hold them off I'll be there soon." He said, as he crunched a demons skull.
"Smile Follow (y/n)." the man ordered his dog. 
Smile gave a bark, and together we ran to the front. 
My heart was racing in my ears, air left quicker than it came, my ears were ringing. We were not going to hold out. 

The force field broke, and I coughed out some mucus. My eyes were full of tears, as my nose ran. These demons. They were the strong ones I was sensing earlier. I was so scared. 
"Smile go get help."  I rasped out to the dog. 
The dog gave me a whine, I told him the same thing again only louder. He still refused to move. 
I thought about sending a dog whistle sound towards the animal but I didn't have time to decide a large demon light blue like ice came smashing into me, throwing me a few feet away. I rasped, and tried to get up. Smile was trying to take the demon down, and it was working. Another demon came up behind the dog, and threw the dog on the porch. 

The children. My mind was on them, as I wanted to cry out for the dog, but it came in only a silent scream. 
The first demon came up, and pulled me up by my hair.
"This is the new slut for those child molesters?" It sneered. 

Anger boiled inside of me. How dare he?! He may say what he wishes of me but not of my mate!

Wait did I just say that? My mate? Eh, it feels right.
I looked at the male, he was some form of ice and snow. There was no way I could hurt him. The others however I can fatally wound. 

Shakily I lifted my hands in front of me, as if I was trying to grab his hand from my head, instead I pointed at ten demons, and shooting from my fingertips I shot the demons, luckily for me it landed in vital areas.
The Demon threw me to the ground, he began kicking me. This was a twisted game to them. One I will play until help arrives for Smile.
The remaining began to past me around kicking me, some groping. Until it stopped. Time stopped. 
Behind me there was the soft crunching of snow, I turned around to see Sally, and the other children. Clockwork was with them, holding a watch in her hand, Sally had a large knife in her hand that dragged in the snow behind her. 

There was a dead look in her eyes as she looked at the demons, then she looked at me her sweet smile crossing her lips as she said:
"I don't want to play with them anymore." 
With that she stabbed the demon holding me, that's when time came back. The other children came at the demons stabbing, them. Dodging them with the speed of lightening. the clouds rumbled ahead, and I saw BEN by the house. With that lightening came down, and hit a few demons on the head, it disoriented them. 
Somehow I was dragged to the side of the porch, Sally in front of me guarding me.

We were so outnumbered, a demon came, and grabbed Sally by her hair, she kicked, and screamed, and I struggled to get up, lundging at the demon. grabbing the demons heal, forcing what magic I had in me towards the bastard. Sally was crying for me, and I couldn't let go.

My face was cold, and numb. The demon kicked me in the face, and my grip faltered but I had ot hold on. 
Suddenly the demon dropped to the ground, and Sally gently floated to the ground.
"Sally run!" I said struggling to get to my knees.
The young girl ran into my arms, and began sobbing into my chest. I remembered she couldn't hear me.
I held her so tightly, knowing there was no time to waist. As cold as it was getting, I got to my feet, I looked around. 
Each demon that tried to go for a child, I felt energy run through my legs, and the ground it froze the demon in place. The child was able to release itself, and cut away at it if it chose to.

There were more coming, I could sense it from behind. If Jeff wasn't up here than we were in trouble.

My throat felt so dry, and I picked up the weapon by my foot that Sally dropped. Fear was pulsing through my body more than blood. Suddenly, Sally screamed, and a demon came towards us with a large fire like hammer, I panicked, and shielded the girl with my body, and begged the ice to rise around us, and shield us. 

I felt the ice, but it wasn't around us fully. I was to weak. 

I squeezed my little girl, waiting for the blow, but it never came. I felt something soft in my chest, and turned to see the demons hammer out of his hand, and a sharp tendril in its heart. 
It fell to the ground, and I heard my daughter whisper in awe:
"Daddy?"
