Hi you guys! Welcome to His Wife! Thank you so much for picking up this book to read! Once again, I apologize for the long wait between Her Proposal and this; thank you at the same time for your patience.

I can't guarantee quick updates, but as I mentioned, I want to write this book for this year's Nano to keep in sync with Her Proposal as last years project. So, while I will give couple of updates throughout the month, I will mostly be writing and as such, proper updates on a schedule may not start until next month.

As they are one story, I decided to post them as a continuation in the same book rather than posting it separately so it can stay in one place - given the grooms series has other standalone novels & I didn't want readers to be confused on which order to read the books in.

Moving on, I promise to give you your Arjun & Sanam that you love <3 I hope you will enjoy reading this part as much as Her Proposal and I will do my best to follow through on your expectations.

After confessing their feelings for each other, Arjun Mehta and Sanam Shah have turned their marriage of convinience into a real one. All should be perfect in their relationship, but with a real relationship comes real problems.

Sanam prided herself on being an independent woman with a tough medical career in front of her. But with being his wife, she knew she'd have to make adjustments and most importantly, accept his love. Arjun always knew his wife had her demons that made it tough for her to believe in relationships. Even though he thought he had fought them all, he was blindsided by his own demons of the past that threaten their relationship.

Here comes the true test of their relationship because professing your love is only the first step. It is not the end and maintaining a relationship is the actual beginning.

"You know I've always had my patience when it came to you, right?" He took a step towards her. Suddenly, she was aware she needed to move away. She tried, but there was the sink counter behind her. Both of his hands came at either sides essentially trapping her. "But, you've also never had me at an arm's length."

He moved one hand to tuck her wet strands of hair behind her ear. It's always been one of her weak points when he did that, she closed her eyes momentarily to let the feeling settle. He leaned in till his tracks brushed against her bare legs. His voice was low, threatening her own feelings. "Now you are, and I am losing my patience."

He rested his forehead against hers. His lips close to hers. So close. She just had to tilt her head just a little. No. Her hand went to his chest and tried to nudge him away to put some space between our bodies. That was her intention atleast. She couldn't seem to do that when she felt his heart beating under her palm.

His hand slid down her arm from her ear to her side. Her breath hitched further when his other hand tugged at the string keeping her robe secured.
