Giovanni Leone Santorini's POV

The buffering sound continued on for like five minutes. Vito and Sai were staring at me, waiting for me to break the ice. I'm still speechless. The evident kept going stronger. It was indirect, but both the tapes say the same thing. Both were confirming that Lucky who was Salvo had been scheming my father's death.

"I had contacted Tristan. He was actually following Salvo until now." Sai started. My whole muscles tenses, itching to shed blood. A blood from the man who ended my family's life. "I want him soon. You know where to bring him."

"How about Enna?" Vito asked.

I look at him impassively. I lived for one thing in life, to get the justice my family deserved, dead or alive. "Send the twins to watch over her," was all I said and Vito stared at me, torn, but he didn't utter a single word and just nodded.

"I've been waiting for you, my friend." Suddenly, the buffering sound stops and the same light, yet darker voice booms. "I've been waiting for you to show up."

"I'm sorry scarface, I have some important call to attend." I heard that voice that is so familiar. Salvo Giudici. I can't be wrong. I've talked to him many times, and I'm quite sure, it's him.

That scarface laugh. "I understand, amico."

"I talk to Bruno, he agreed on the five millions worth of guns; M-16s and AK-rifles, and I agreed." He started without further ado. He sounded serious and no mambo-jumbos. "We just received the new loads of the guns from Stink-eye. That fucker is getting millions from the stolen guns from the military." He chuckled lightly.

"I love his job." Scarface remarks. "Such a corrupt official. The military doesn't need him, but we need him for sure!" He added on and then loud waves of laughter, boomed.

"Bruno wants it tomorrow night, the same place and the same time," Lucky said.

"Done!" Scarface agreed.

After everything is set, Lucky bid goodbye and then the tape went blank.

Isaias took the tape out of the tape deck and place it back on its casing and stuff it in his inside pocket of his coat. He puts another tape and then another until it's all done. The same event, all were deals with different groups, drug dealers, arms dealers, from the same town to different country.

It was almost five in the morning when we parted. I drove straight to my penthouse and headed straight to my office. I turned the computer on and then watch the camera installed in Enna's place.

She looks peacefully sleeping in her bed. I zoomed in the camera and her face was is as peaceful as the calming sea. The smudges of her mascara didn't hide her refreshing beauty. Her cheeks were a deep shade of red, and her lips are slightly parted. I bet she's softly snoring.

I look away, kicking back the urge to head to her place and kiss her, make love to her. I zoomed out the camera and navigate it around the room. Her clothes are scattered everywhere. I zoomed in the camera when I notice a piece of thin lacy garment on the floor.

My cock twitches and starts to throb when the camera focus on the lacy thong on the floor. "Damn, she's naked!" I hissed to myself, frustration is building up in my system.

I zoomed it out and zoomed the camera back in, to her. The blanket is all the way up to her shoulder. I groaned in frustrations.

Dammit, Gio! Stop watching her!

I zoomed the camera back out and I close the monitors. I felt my eyes droopy so I decided to have a sleep. Ignoring my erection, I quickly headed to my washroom and took a cold shower. After a while, I went straight to my bed and sleep.

I WOKE up with the annoying sound of my phone. I picked up my phone sitting on my nightstand and connected it as I threw the covers back, and begrudgingly got out of bed.

"Speak!"

"We have him. Old place," Sai's words sunk in my head. My muscles suddenly went rigid.

"I'm coming." I said and ended the call. I quickly got changed and stuff my .45 mars handgun inside my coat pocket, then hastily headed out.

Sawyer, the twins, and two other guards were waiting beside my armored car. "Prince street, Sawyer. The same place." Sawyer nodded and opened the door for me. Before I climb in, I face the twins who was behind us.

"You two, watch Enna." I said and the two nodded their head and scrambles out of my sight. I quickly climb inside. The two guard is in the other black Linc SUV, discreetly following us behind.

The car drove off and it seems too painfully going slow. As much as I want to bark at him to drive fast, I can't. We don't need to put this much-awaited event of my life into jeopardy. I don't need the cop at this moment.

My heart pounding inside my chest with the anticipation waiting for me. My insides were shaking, muscles tensed, itching to vent out this hate that had been fueled as the years passed by. My anger and bitterness rose viciously, and I felt my muscles strained all the more, jaws clenched feeling rooted, my hands involuntarily clenched into balls, nails digging into my own palm. My dark eyes held nothing but fury. Red swirling around it. Finally, the time has come. I'm going to face the man who was behind my family's death. The man who killed them mercilessly, and got away so easily.

Sawyer parked the car inside the old garage of Flavino's Diner, besides his old classic mustang car. We got in through the exit door and Flavino was waiting for us at the back of the diner. "They're inside," he cocked his head to the pantry door, where insides another hidden door, leading to our old hideout, where we do some rubout, illegal dealings.

"Watch the cops. Just ring us for any suspicious man sniffing around."

"Yes, boss." Flavino, at sixty-five, short and a muscled man with his arms and legs covered with tattoos of different designs, had gained my father's trust. He was one of my security's brother, Mason. I trust him just as my father trusted him. I've been using his place for a long time, ever since I stepped into my father's shoes, as the boss. I hated my father's life, but it's the only way to find out about his killer.

I never expect to live with it and embrace this kind of life; killing traitors, but I did. I became a man whom I never expect me to be, a killer and a business crook, just like my father.

After all, I am a Santorini. An apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I shook the thoughts off that slowly tugging my conscience. A Santorini has no conscience. We live without it.

Morgan walks ahead of me with several other securities behind me, and the rest were outside flanking around the Diner watching for any cops. He opened the rusty metal door and it made a loud creaking sound. I walk in and two behind me walk past me and head straight to the door behind the stacks of bags of flours and opened it. I walk in, ignoring the smell of the flours, sugars, and other seasonings filled the air and walk into the hidden room. The dim light from the corridor is just enough for us to see the staircase going into the basement. I trudge down the steps carefully and welcomed with the smell of the old, cold and damp room. The only light that provided the whole room is the four bulbs on each corner of the room, and a black wrought iron bird cage chandelier hanging low in the middle of the room. There were no windows. The room has few pieces of furniture. Five chairs, a rectangular table and handcuffs to the wall.

"He's still sleeping. The chloroform should subside in an hour." Isaias approached with his hands resting in his pockets. He looks exhausted, yet determination in his eyes is fully awakened.

I look where Salvo was sitting with his head hanging down low. His hands are restrained with handcuffs and so were his legs.

"Where's the hot chick he was with?" I asked.

"His *goomah is in his hotel." Sai look where my eyes were trained. Vito is on his phone, talking animatedly, on one corner of the room. "I don't think Mrs. Giudici knew his mistresses and his business trip were for. This man is absolutely a nymphomaniac." Sai shook his head in disbelief.

I averted my eyes to Sai and cocked an eyebrow.

"He was taping their sex," Sai said amusingly.

My eyebrows furrowed. "What a fuckin' *mortadella!" I grit out inaudibly. I remembered Enna. How much she looks highly of her father. I bet she never knew how rotten her father is. How bastard he is.

"Tristan pulled out all their conversation with the wife," Isaias continued on with his eyes looking straight to the old Giudici. I didn't say anything. Staring at the man in the chair, restrained, I just wanted to end his life. I wanted to chop him up, but that would not be exciting. I wanted him to be up when I do that. I want him to feel every pain when I do that.

"...tells his wife he was meeting his business partners, and the poor lady believes all his lies." Sai kept blabbering and I missed most of his words.

"And by the way, I sent Mason to get into his vault. Theresa gave me the code when she was so drunk, and Mason found nothing, but just papers, evidence of the crook politicians and some old mobsters. And guess who came to check the vault too?" He paused and look at me.

I look at him with curiosity. "Enna came to check on his vault." My body stiffened.

"Do you think she knew something?" I asked.

Does it matter now?

"I think she does. According to Mason, she was looking terrified and worries etched all over her face as she rummaged through the vault. Mason forgot to lock it when he heard footsteps coming, so he hid behind the door. She looks lost when she left the room, not even noticing Mason behind the door." Isaias explained and I shut my eyes off, kicking the conscience out of my system, and the emotions suddenly surged into my system.

Just hearing about her, makes me feels weak and the longings to hold her just keep nagging me.

"She went to the bar, and got drunk ..." I mumbled to myself, trying to decipher her actions.

"She must have known something, but does it matter now, Leone?" Sai asked and I nodded in agreement. It doesn't matter anymore.

AN HOUR passed and he's still sleeping. I'm getting vex each seconds passing. "Wake him up!" I cocked my head to one of the securities on one corner as I leaned back in my seat. Sai motioned one of them with his head. Morgan left and then was back with a bucket of water in his hand.

He walk closer to the old man and poured the cold water into him. Salvo bolted upright, coughing, but he sat back upright, then thrash his hands when he realized he was restrained. He wriggled his hands hard and harsh and the metals made a loud noise. He looks around disorientedly and his eyes bulged when it landed on me.

His jaws clenched as his eyes turning into slits. "What does this mean, Giovanni?" He asked in his deep and dark voice. I stood up with my clenched hands shoved deep in my pockets.

"Let's cut the bullshit here, Salvo" I hissed darkly as I strode closer to him with my eyes pinning him down.

His stunned face turns stony and smug. "So you found it out, huh? The same as the father, Claudio," he sat upright, showing unfazed by my predator stance.

My anger and hatred rose, grinding my teeth, I stared into his smug face. I needed more information as I beat him slowly to death. "Why?" I asked.

He looks at me without a remorse in his eyes. I wonder if he's really Enna's dad. "Your father is a piece of shit who can't get satisfied with what he already had." He hissed with his eyes twitched. "He rape the only woman I love!" he grits out, his eyes shooting me daggers, his muscles tense, then he wriggled his arms and legs in anger. "Then he killed her, mercilessly." He scoffed, looking around us then back to me. "Your father deserves his death-"

Involuntarily, my fist flung into his jaws, causing him to fall on his side with the chair. A groaning sound came out of his mouth and my two security pulled him up. He looks at me as he spits out a blood. "You know when I saw your father begs, it was the sweetest moment ever," he clenched his jaws, teeth grinding. Another powerful blows on his right jaws that knocked him to the ground, but he just chuckles it off humorlessly, showing unfazed that only fueled my anger and wrath.

"Unrestraint him," I barked frustratedly.

Sai and Vito held him in both hands as soon as he was unrestrained. They tug him upward with a jerk. He groaned, but he still wears that smug face. "What did my mom and sister did to you to kill them too?" I growled in a very deep low tone. My voice held nothing but danger, deadly, vicious.

"Well, I didn't. One of the only men whom you trusted did it for me. Carmine Castellano."

I quickly look at him, eyes like a fire, burning holes into his face. That smug that hadn't been wiped out with my fist.

One of my securities laid a cloth. As he rolled out, different types of swiss army knives, a serrated blade, two dagger blades, and several different types of shears, reveals before our eyes.

My eyes flew back to Salvo who was looking at the knives laid on the table. His smug face suddenly vanish and a fear settled in his eyes. I saw how his Adam's apple moved up and down.

"Carmine Castellano?" I asked gnashing my teeth, and my jaw involuntarily clenched to the extent that I felt a faint pain.

"Yes. He rapes your mom. He had been in love with your mom. I was surprised to know that, honestly, it never dawns on me. Well, your mom is pretty, I can't blame him, he had this secret fantasy with your mom long before your dad dated her."

"How about my sister?" I asked.

"Probably one of my securities. I don't know who." He replied nonchalantly.

I held the urge to shot him in the head right there and then. I screamed inwardly with the frustrations and anger. "STRUNZO, CARMINE CASTELLANO!" I screamed in my head as I ran my fingers through my hair in frustrations, fury.

I saw Sai motioned Mason to come closer. Mason took over Sai. He held the other hand of Salvo who looks vulnerable this time. He knew what comes next.

"Guarda Carmine Castellano, e ti darò un anello quando fare questo lavoro." (Watch Carmine Castellano, and I'll give you a ring when to *do this piece of work.) I heard Sai's voice but it was faint compared to the hard pounding in my chest with the strained muscles as I held my temper at bay.

This new revelation took me by surprise. I can't believe the person whom I trusted and even considered as my second father were a traitor. My knuckles were feeling sore and white as how tight I was clenching it.

Argh. .. I screamed and lunged at Salvo, hitting him blow by blow anywhere my fist landed. My brain is already foggy and so was my vision. My anger already took over me, and all I wanted is him to die.

"GIO?" I suddenly stop and my muscles relax when I heard that familiar voice. I suddenly realized what was happening and I stood upright and my eyes landed on her.

Everything seemed to stops when my blurry eyes saw how frightened and hurt she is as she shifted her eyes to me and to her father. All of a sudden, a loud bang cuts the tension, and everything went blur. I just felt myself falling slowly to the ground as I watch Enna running, screaming to my direction.

I smiled. If this is my last day to see her, then I'm happy. I saw the love and fear in her eyes as she ran to me. I closed my eyes, "I LOVE YOU, MY BAMBOLINA!"
