Jameson's POV:

We arrived at his house and Layla was still passed out in the back. I parked the car and turned the engine off and went to the back to get Layla. I wrapped my arms around her back and knees, Drake closed the door for me and we both walked in the house. I saw the lights in the living room and I assumed that Scott and Alisha were there. I looked over at Drake and saw him taking his shoes off and putting them aside, he looked at me and then looked at Layla.

"You go take Layla upstairs, I'm gonna go see what Aunt Alisha and Uncle Scott are up to." He said, I nodded my head and looked at my angel in my arms. Her lips were slightly parted and soft snores came out and her chest slowly moving up and down. I smiled and kissed her forehead, I started making my way to the stairs when I felt her move. I stopped walking and looked down at her. She moved her head to the side and her eyes remained closed but her hand reached out to my face. She placed her hand on my cheek and I smiled wider.

"Jamie?" She softly called my name

"I'm here, Angel. We're back at your house and I'm taking you upstairs." I said to her, she let out a small smile and nodded her head.

"Okay, I love you Jamie." She said and my heart melted

"I love you too Angel." I said, she snuggled her head on my chest and I kissed her head. I continued making my way upstairs and when I got to her room, I gently laid her on her bed and took off her shoes along with her socks because I know she feels uncomfortable wearing socks to sleep. I then thought about her clothes, I don't want to be the one to change her because even though she's asleep, I still have some respect so I decided to go with the other option. I kissed her on the forehead and I walked out of her room. I walked down the stairs and into the living room, I looked at Alisha and saw that she and Scott were talking to Drake and they looked concerned.

I cleared my throat and they all looked at me.

"Oh there you are, Layla's good?" Drake asked

"Yeah she's good, but she's still in her clothes and I didn't want to be the one to change her so I was hoping you would." I told Alisha, she smiled and nodded her head. She stood up and walked over to me placing a hand on my arm.

"I appreciate the respect you have for my daughter, thank you." She said, I smiled and nodded my head. She removed her hand and walked pass me and out the living room. I looked back at Scott and Drake and I decided to sit beside Drake.

"You told them?" I asked and he shook his head

"Not yet, I was waiting for you." He said, I nodded my head and looked at Scott.

"What's wrong?" He asked us, I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

"It's about Layla" I said and his eyes widened and looked at Drake.

"What happened to Layla?" He asked again, before either of us could talk Alisha walked in the living room and sat beside Scott.

"What did I miss?" She asked, Drake and I looked at each other before looking at them.

"Something happened with Layla." I said and they both just looked at me.

"What happened? She looks perfectly fine with me." Alisha said

"Before we get to the point, I need to tell you guys something." I said and they gestured for me to go on, I took a deep breath before telling them the story of how I knew Layla when we were younger.

"You're the kid she always talked about?" Scott asked, I let out a small smile and nodded my head.

"It's amazing how after all these years you guys are together again." Alisha said with a smile and I nodded my head in agreement.

"It really is" I said and my thoughts went to the sleeping Angel upstairs.

"But what does this have to do with what you're about to tell us?" Scott asked, I rubbed my face and took a deep breath.

"Layla said she had a dream last night but it wasn't just a dream. She mentioned the names Jamie and Aubrey, she was the only person who called me Jamie and I called her Aubrey. She also mentioned a ring, I gave her a ring when we were younger and I had her name engraved on it and she still wears it to this day." I explained, both Scott and Alisha looked shock at my explanation and looked at each other before looking back at me.

"Did she mention anything else?" Scott asked and I shook my head

"No, that's all I got." I said, he nodded his head and looked at Alisha.

"The doctor did say she could get better and could her memories back and possibly go back to normal." He said

"So she could be getting her memories back?" Drake asked and they both nodded their heads.

"It's a possibility, but we have to check with the doctors." Alisha said, I smiled and thought about my Angel, she could get her memories back and she could remember all the things we did when we were younger, she'd remember me.

"Alright now, we'll discuss more about this tomorrow. Jamie are you staying the night?" Alisha asked standing up, I nodded my head and she smiled and nodded her head as well. Scott stood up and looked at me.

"No funny business with my daughter, understood?" He said very intimidatingly and I just nodded my head again.

"You boys go on up, we'll see you tomorrow." Alisha said and grabbed her husband's arm and dragged him away from us. They both walked up the stairs and left Drake and I alone.

"Well I'm gonna get some shut eye, the girls sure can shop." He chuckled, I laughed and nodded my head.

"Specially Brooklyn, poor Justin." I said and he just shook his head.

"I'm going to my room, I'll see you tomorrow." He said and walked away and walked up the stairs and left me alone. I decided it was time to go to bed so I walked up the stairs and went to Layla's room and saw her peacefully asleep and is now in more comfortable clothes. She was all snuggled up with her teddy bear and her mouth slightly ajar. I smiled and walked over to her and took my shoes and socks off and sat by her and caressed her cheek.

"I love you, my Angel." I whispered and kissed her forehead, I saw a small smile play on her lips and she hugged her teddy bear tighter. My smile widened, if that's even possible, and simply just stared at her before deciding that I should freshen up so I can get in be next to her and have a good night's sleep. I stood up and searched for my bag which I found under her desk and got a pair of sweatpants. I walked to her bathroom did my business, changed out of my pant and into my sweatpants before washing my face and brushing my teeth. Once I was done with everything, I walked out and tossed my pants in my bag and walked over to Layla's bed and got in beside her.

She let go of her teddy bear and wrapped her arms around me instead.

"Hi Jamie" She said in a soft voice, I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close.

"Hi Angel" I said and sighed in content

"What were you doing downstairs?" She asked with her eyes still closed

"Nothing much, they just asked how our day was and all that." I said, she nodded her head and buried her head on my chest.

"I'm going back to sleep, goodnight Jamie." She said and let out a cute little yawn, I smiled and kissed her nose.

"Goodnight Angel, I love you so much." I said, she smiled and kissed my bare chest.

"I love you too, my big baby." She mumbled, my smile widened and looked up at the ceiling.

I can't help but feel like I won at everything, I have my girlfriend, whom I love with all my heart, sleeping beside me. Nothing can ever take away the happiness that I'm feeling right now, nothing. As long as I have Layla by my side, there's not a moment where I'm not happy.

Well....I have not updated in a while yet again and I'm sorry for that. I just got school going on and I'm completely blanking for this book, I can't think of an ending and everything else. Don't worry, I'll think of something soon enough. I just need a bit of time and a lot of brainstorming, but for now I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter I really tried to make it interesting but there was not much I can do. Anyways, I got updates to come and new books so stay tuned for that and I love you guys so much!!!
