Layla's POV:

"What's wrong?" I asked Jamie as he looked like he just saw a ghost.

"Oh, uh, it's nothing. We can talk about this tomorrow, how about we go back to sleep?" He suggested, I smiled and nodded my head. He reached out and closed the lamp and I went back to cuddling with him. He kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes.

*The next day*

I woke up hearing my name being called. I opened my eyes and saw that Jamie was looking at me, he gave me a gentle smile and I just smiled in return.

"Good morning Angel." He said, I reached up and placed my hand on his cheek.

"Good morning Jamie." I said and rubbed his cheek with my thumb, his smile widened and he leaned into my touch.

"Are you hungry? It's pretty close to noon." He asked and I just shook my head.

"Not really, I just woke up after all." I said and he nodded his head.

"When do I go back to school?" I asked, as much as I don't like the learning, I actually enjoyed school. It was way better than homeschool that's for sure, homeschool was pretty boring and lonely.

"Not until next week Angel." He said, I took my hand away from his cheek and laid back down.

"Angel, you need to wake up." He said and grabbed my arms pulling me up so that I could sit.

"But I'm still so tired." I whined and closed my eyes wanting to go back to bed.

I was pretty much restless last night, I couldn't stop thinking about the dream that I had. It felt so familiar and I don't really understand it. Why would I have a dream about two kids?

"Then take a shower Angel, I'm taking you out today." He said and this got my full attention.

"Out? Where?" I asked, he chuckled and stood up.

"We're going to the mall, now go shower and get changed. I'm going to spoil you today." He told me with  kiss on the head, I nodded my head and stood up as well. He walked out of my room and I went to my bathroom and did my business.

I can't wait to the mall, I feel like I haven't been there in forever with everything that's beem going on. I'm glad Jamie decided to take me out.

Jameson's POV:

I walked out of Layla's room and sighed. I thought about telling Drake that Layla had a dream of her past, but I don't really know if I should. I mean it probably means nothing right? I shook my head, no, I should tell him. I should probably tell Scott and Alisha too, because they're her parents, they obviously have the right to know. I decided to take Layla out today because I know she's been wanting to go out for a while now. She's been  cooped up in that hospital room for days and she's going to be stuck at home until next week, might as well take her out.

I walked down the stairs and went to the kitchen and saw Layla's parents and Drake sitting down. They noticed my presence and looked at me.

"Hey Ames, where's Layla?" Alisha asked, I walked over ti them and and sat beside Drake.

"She's getting ready." I said

"Getting ready for what?" He asked

"I'm taking her out to the mall, if that's alright with you guys?" I said to Scott and Alisha, Alisha smiled and nodded her head.

"Yeah, that's perfectly fine, but you protect my daughter." She said, I smiled and nodded my head.

"Of course, I won't let her out of my sight." I promised and she smiled wider, I looked at Scott looking for his approval.

"It's fine with me, but protect her at all costs." He said

"Yes sir" I said and saluted to him.

"You wanna come with us?" I asked Drake as Alisha and Scott excused themselves to go to the living room.

"Sure, what are we doing and where are we going?" He asked

"Well I was planning on taking her shopping and spoil her a bit." I chuckled

I know that Layla likes shopping, there was this one time she said that she wanted new shoes and she wanted to go shoe shopping, so that's what I planned for today. I want to spoil my Angel, even just for today.

"How about we invite the guys to come with? Brooklyn too." He suggested, that's not too bad actually. I wanted some alone time with Layla, as selfish as that sounds, but a day with friends should be fun.

"Sure, Layla would love that for sure." I said, he nodded his head and whipped out his phone probably to text the guys. I grabbed my phone as well and texted the other guys in our groupchat which also now includes Brooklyn.

Ames: You guys up for the mall?

About a few seconds later, I got a reply.

Brooke: Mall? Since when were you the mall type?

Justin: The mall? Dude, did you hit your head too?

Ames: Idiots, I'm taking Layla out and Drake suggested we all go and I'm sure Layla would like it of we were all there.

Ben: Well I'm down, I'm gonna buy me some new pair of shoes.

Andrew: Same here

Ben: I'll meet you guys there.

Ames: I'll see you guys later, gotta go.

I shut my phone and looked at Drake.

"So are they going?" I asked him, he looked at me and nodded his head.

"Yeah, they'll meet us there." He said, I heard Layla come down and heard her greet her parents. A few minutes later, she entered the kitchen and greeted Drake.

"Good morning." She said giving him a hug

"Good morning, Lay." He said and kissed her head, she smiled and walked over to me sitting on the vacant seat. I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed her cheek, I looked down at her outfit and thankfully it wasn't too revealing.

"Drake, are you coming with us?" She asked

"Yeah, everyone else is coming too, we invited them all." He said, her smile widened and she clapped her hands.

"I miss the guys and Brooklyn so much." She said with a small pout and I couldn't resist and pecked her lips; she gasped and looked at me.

"Jamie, why did you do that?" She asked with a hint of blush on her cheeks.

"You were being so cute, I just had to." I said with a smile, I heard Drake fake gag and I just rolled my eyes and turned to him.

"Must you do that every time?" I asked him

"Yes, yes I must. I'm still not used to this, you're Layla's first boyfriend and I'm not used to my baby sister being all lovey dovey with a guy." He said

"Drake, I'm not a babt anymore and besides you're only a year older than me." Layla said with a small giggle.

"That's a whole year, I learned a lot in that time of existence." He fired back and I just raised an eyebrow at him.

"Like what?" I asked with a smirk and he just glared at me.

"Okay fine, whatever." He said and I just smiled in satisfaction.

"What time are we leaving?" I heard Layla ask, I looked at my watch and saw that it was about noon.

"It's lunch time now, do you guys want to eat out?" I asked them

"Yeah, lunch is fine with me." Drake said, I looked at Layla and she nodded her head.

"Yeah sure, but how about Mom and Dad? Will they be okay all alone here?" She asked, on cue her parents walked and Alisha wrapped her arms around her daughter while I unwrapped mine from her waist.

"Honey, we'll be fine here. We'll wait for you to come home and then we'll spend time together, sounds good?" She asked her, Layla smiled and nodded her head.

"Okay Mom, I love you." She said and kissed her Mom's hand.

"Hey what about me?" Scott asked his daughter, Layla laughed and extended her arms to him; he smiled and hugged his wife and daughter. It makes me wish that I had my mom with me right now and Elena too. I shook the thought out of my head and looked back at Layla and her parents.

"Well we should get going now." Drake said, Layla smiled and nodded her head. She bid her parents goodbye and Drake and I bid our goodbyes to them as well

We walked out the front door and went to my car. I got in the driver's seat and Layla in the passenger seat while Drake was in the back. We made our way to the mall while Layla sang along to the radio and I just smiled as I listened to her singing and her laughter, but what I couldn't stop thinking about was her dream last night. She didn't tell me much but she did mention Jamie and Aubrey, it might be a coincidence, but what if it isn't?

Could she possibly be getting her memory back?
