Chapter 37: Fight Club

Jameson's POV:

Ever since I heard Layla crying in that restroom, I have been restless. I didn't know what to do, Brooklyn came and took care of her telling me to leave them alone. It's been hours since I left them and I miss my Angel so much already, I don't even know what's wrong and I'm itching to know. I want to know what's wrong with my Angel, I want to make her feel better, I just want to hold her in my arms and comfort her wiping her tears away from her beautiful eyes.

"Man, Layla just texted me. She said that she's not feeling well, so she and Brooklyn went home. Did she tell you?" He whispered to me as we were still in class about to go to lunch. I looked at him in shock and he just raised an eyebrow at me.

"I'm guessing she didn't, but anyways, she and Brooklyn went home. Probably an hour ago, I just saw it now." He added and I just looked at him.

"She went home? Without telling me?" I said saying the last part quietly.

"Yeah, she did. She's probably at home now and-" He got cut off by the bell, everyone started rushing around. I groaned and got my back and stood up, Drake did the same and we both headed out the classroom to go to the cafeteria.

"As I was saying, she's probably home now. She didn't tell me what she was feeling, but I guess her headache's are back. We probably shouldn't have let her come to school." He said as we walked to the cafeteria. When we walked in the cafeteria, everyone stopped and stared as usual. Jeez, these people don't have anything better to do in their lives.

We saw that the other guys were already at our usual table and we walked over to them. I sat beside Justin and we did the usual bro shake, and I set my bag by my feet.

"Hey guys, have you seen Brooklyn? I haven't seen her all day." Justin asked, I looked at him and studied him. With the way that he seemed so interested in Brooklyn, I could kinda tell that he has feelings for the girl. Back then, I would always see him looking at Brooklyn, stealing glances at her, and always asking about her back when Isabella and I were still....seeing each other, as you may put it as.

"She went home with Layla, she wasn't feeling too well so Brooklyn went with her. Although, I don't know why she didn't tell Ames, she's usually always with him." He said pointing towards me, by this time, I figured everything out.

Layla saw what happened with Isabella and I.

All the signs fit together, the gasp and the footsteps I heard and why she wouldn't talk to me, but she talks to Brooklyn. My little Angel saw what happened with Isabella and I, I'm absolutely and completely f*cked.

I was so angry at Isabella right now, and as if on cue, she walked in the cafeteria with her little minions in tow. She had a smug smile on her face and she looked at me and blew me a kiss. I knew she did something yet again, I just knew it. This girl is gonna be the death of me, and not in a good way.

"Why don't we go to the club tonight? I need to let out some steam." I suggested, as you remember, the guys and I are part of a Fight Club, I've been meaning to get out of it since I met Layla because I don't want he to get involved, but it comes in handy sometimes.

"Yeah, sure. I'm in." Drake said, and the others all agreed as well.

"Cool, meet up at like 6. I really need to fight someone." I sighed and placed my head in my hands.

"I thought you were quitting since you and Layla became official." Blake said, I sighed and nodded my head.

"Yeah, I know I said that. But, sometimes it's a good way to let out anger." I said, he nodded his head and stood up from his seat.

"I'm gonna go get some more food, I'm so hungry." He said, we all laughed and he walked away.

"I'm gonna go drop by the house first, I need to go check on Layla. You want to come?" Drake asked me, I knew that Layla wasn't gonna wanna see me, so I decided against it.

"Nope, I need to go do something. I'll text her though." I said lying through my teeth, I didn't really want Layla to be more upset seeing me. The guys all looked at me confused and I raised an eyebrow at them.

"What?" I asked them

"You usually never pass up an opportunity to see Layla, it's just weird." Warren said, I nervously chuckled and scratched the back of my head.

"I just figured that she was sick of seeing my face all the time." I lied, that was a stupid excuse, but that was the first thing that came out of my mouth.

"Yeah, sure, my cousin is completely in love with you, she doesn't just get sick of seeing your face." Drake snickered

"Yeah, he's right. Why don't you just go see her?" Dylan asked, I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

"I just don't like seeing her miserable, I'll see her tomorrow, or maybe later. Just not at the moment." I said, what I said was true, I don't like seeing her miserable, specially if it's because of me. I can't, I just can't. I don't like seeing my Angel upset. As cliche as it sounds, it's true.

"I'm gonna skip, please tell Layla to feel better, and that I love her so much. To drink her medicine, and drinks lots of water. I'm gonna go now, I'll see you guys later." I said and grabbed my bag and slung it on my shoulder. I stood up with the guys calling out to me but I ignored them and walked away not wanting to hear any more of their questions as to why I don't wanna go see my Angel.

I want to see her, but she doesn't wanna see me. She has Brooklyn with her, and I trust Brooklyn.  But, I just wish that she didn't have to see what happened between Isabella and I. Knowing my Angel, she probably took it to the wrong way, not that there's a good way or anything, but I'm guessing she didn't hear the first part and the last part. Just the part when Isabella kissed me, and that's when she ran away.

I just want my Angel back in my arms, this is all Isabella's fault.

I have been in the club for hours now, and I'm guessing that school is over. I beat up 3 guys and went to the practice room and punched a couple of punching bags. Justin texted me and said that they were on their way here. Drake also texted me and said that Layla was fine and she and Brooklyn are gonna have a Twilight marathon, sounds like my Angel. She just loves Twilight, even though she doesn't really understand what's happening, she's too innocent to.

I just love her innocence, it makes her, well, her. Some people are gonna wonder why she's so pure and innocent, because even though she was homeschooled, her parents must've thought her the basic stuff. The truth is, she just doesn't really understand much, when the accident happened to her, it messed her brain up pretty bad, making her have a hard time understanding stuff. I don't really care though, she's my little Angel no matter what.

I was in the middle of punching the punching bag when my phone rang. I turned around and wiped my sweat off with my arm and walked over to my phone and checked who was calling. Justin, of course.

Jameson: Yo?

Justin: Hey man, we just got here. Where you at?

Jameson: I'm in the practice room.

Justin: Alright, see you in a bit.

Jameson: Was this really the reason you called me up? Just to ask where I was, you could've texted me.

Justin: Yeah, I know. But, knowing you, you were probably punching a punching bag and you wouldn't have read the text message.

I swear, he's such a smart ass, I thought to myself.

Jameson: Whatever, just get your asses in here. You, me, and Ben have a fight scheduled in a few.

Justin: Yeah, okay. On the way.

I hung up and placed my phone down. I wiped off some more sweat and turned back to the punching back, and as I was about to punch it. The doors bursted open, and the people I call friends, waltz in the room. I rolled my eyes and took off my punching wraps to rest my hands and turned to them.

"Where are the others?" I asked them

"They went to go to the restroom, small bladders, I swear. We all just peed when we left school." Andrew said rolling his eyes, I chucked and the others bursted in the room.

"Alright, we need to start preparing for our fight. Gear up." I said to Justin and Ben.

Layla's POV:

"A club?! Brooklyn, I have never been in a club my whole life! How are we even getting in?!" I asked her feeling all my nerves build up making me a tiny bit nauseous.

"A friend of mine works here, so you don't have anything to worry about. You're gonna be fine, I'll stick to your side like honey." She said wrapped her arm around my shoulder. I looked at the building in front of us and gulped. This should be interesting. Mom and Dad told me these places weren't good for people like me.

We waited in line for a couple of minutes until we were in front of the line. Brooklyn squealed and hugged the girl letting the people in.

"Georgie, I haven't seen you in forever!!" She squealed

"Brooklyn, where have you been girl?!" The other girl exclaimed hugging Brooklyn back as I stood there watching them awkwardly. They pulled away from each other and Brooklyn looked at me.

"This is my friend, Georgina, she likes to be called Georgie though, she's a family friend." She said, I smiled and Georgie smiled back at me.

"She looks super cute and innocent, you girls heading in?" She asked, Brooklyn nodded her head and Georgie clicked her tongue and gave Brooklyn a smile.

"Great timing, the good looking guys have fights tonight." She said, fight? Wait what? Brooklyn smiled and grabbed my arm.

"It was nice seeing you again, Georgie. See ya later!" Brooklyn said and we both walked in. When we walked in, I was greeted with lights everywhere and music blasting loudly.

"What fights was she talking about?" I asked Brooklyn through the loud music.

"I forgot to mention that this is a Fight Club." She said, my eyes widened and she sheepishly smiled at me.

"You brought me to a fight club?!" I exclaimed

"It will get your mind off you know who." She said, I just sighed and nodded my head. There's no going back now, we drove all the way here. She brought us to a booth, and we sat down.

"This place isn't even that bad, it's actually pretty great here." She said trying to assure me, but it's not working too well.

"Oh c'mon, cheer up, Mouse. There's a lot of cute guys here." She said punching my shoulder lightly. I gave her a small smile and then the lights dimmed. There was a spotlight in the middle of the room where there was a little set up match ring and I saw three guys. The two were shirtless and one was wearing a referee wish shirt. I guess this is one of the fights that Georgie was talking about.

"C'mon, let's watch the fight." Brooklyn said grabbing my arm and dragging me to the middle of the room where most people were crowded at. I frowned and looked up on the stage and made eye contact with one of the fighters, and those eyes looked way too familiar. We stared at each other for a while, and then I figured out who these beautiful eyes belong to.

Jamie.
