I give Ben a hug before he gets in his carriage with Mal.

"Do great things, Bub." He grins, and Jay escorts me to the second carriage. He helps me up onto it, and sits beside me, holding my hand.

We take off, and I start to feel weird.

"Hey. It's okay." I look at him, and he smiles. He brings our joined hands to his lips and kisses my hand.

"Yeah? I feel like everyone is going to judge us. Laugh at you." He smiles bigger.

"I'm used to the taunting, remember? And besides. I've got you. I'll be perfectly okay if something happens." He grins, and I nod. I wave like I'm supposed, and it's suffocating.

"How do you do this all the time?" Jay asks.

"Smile and wave. Just smile and wave." I grit under my breath, the fake smile plastered on my face.

We reach the castle, and Jay helps me up the stairs.

"About the other day, I just..." Mal tries to explain.

"I told Ben this wasn't going to be easy." Beast interrupts, cleaning his glasses.

"You also taught me that a king has to believe in himself. Even when it isn't easy." Ben replies, grinning.

"I did?" Belle elbows him. "I... how very wise of me." Beast recovers, and I crack a grin.

"Ben, we are very proud of you. You keep listening to your heart." Belle grabs his hands, and smiles.

"Thanks, mom."

"You're gonna make a fine king." Beast claps his shoulder, and Jay's grip on my hand gets just a little tighter. Belle and Beast leave, and Ben takes Mal's hands.

"Wish me luck." They grin at each other, until the attendant clears his throat. She leaves with him, and Jay and I follow.

We're lead to our spots, and the music kicks in. The doors open and Ben emerges from outside. Everybody bows, and they grin at each other as he passes.

FG climbs the steps behind Belle and Beast, and bows before the both of them. She takes Beast's crown, and places it on Ben's head. Mal and Jay trade a worried look, and his hand disappears from mine.

I try to look at him, but he refuses to meet my gaze.

"Do you solemnly swear to govern the peoples of Auradon with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?" FG asks Ben.

"I do solemnly swear." He replies.

"Then it is my honor and my joy to bless our new king." As FG raises the wand, Jane snatches it, ruining the entire ceremony.

"Child, what are you doing?!" FG yells. Jay hides me behind him, protects Mal.

"If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself! Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" Jane twirls, the wand too much for her.

"Take cover!" Ben yells.

"Careful, Mal!" Belle tells, and Mal steals the wand from Jane. Jane runs off, scared.

"Mal, give me the wand." Ben tries to coax. Jay stands right behind her, and Gramps comes to my rescue.

"Stand back." Mal says, with the wand and her friends.

"It's okay." Ben tries again.

"Ben, I said stand back!" Mal yells, threatening this time.

"I told you so!" Audrey yells, but is frightened again when Mal swings the wand her way.

"Let's go!" Carlos mutters.

"Revenge time." Jay says, and I stand there with my mouth open.

"You really want to do this?" Ben asks her, trying to appeal to her good side.

"We have no choice, Ben!" Mal yells. "Our parents..."

"Your parents made their choice." I command, making everyone look at me. Gramps moves aside, but still holds my shoulder. "Now you make yours."

"I think I want to be good." Mal responds.

"You are good." Ben says, taking the floor back.

"How do you know that?" Mal asks, the wand still in a threatening position.

"Because... Because I'm listening to my heart." Ben answers her, and I stand next to him.

"I want to listen to my heart, too." Mal replies, lowering the wand, and looking at her friends. "And my heart is telling me that we are not our parents." She laughs and points to Jay. "I mean, stealing things doesn't make you happy. Tourney and victory pizza
with the team and Alliya makes you happy." He grins, and we meet eyes.

"Yeah!" Someone yells from the crowd.

"And you, scratching Dude's belly makes you happy. Who would've thought?" Carlos and Mal laugh, and I smirk.

"And Evie... You do not have to play dumb to get a guy. You are so smart." Both girls are crying, and laughing.

"And I don't want to take over the world with evil. It doesn't make me happy. I want to go to school. And be with Ben. Because Ben makes me really happy." She turns around and shows us the ring he gave her. "Us being friends makes me really happy." She turns back around. "Not destroying things. I choose good, you guys." She holds her hand out, and then gets scared.

"I choose good, too." Jay says, as he looks at me, smiling. He holds his other arm out, and I go over to him, hugging him.

"I choose good." Evie replies next, throwing her hand in there too.

"So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad our parents will be?" Carlos laughs. "Because they're gonna be really, really mad." They laugh, and Ben steps forward.

"Your parents can't reach you here."

"Okay, then. Good." Carlos puts his hand in there too. Jay nudges me to do the same.

"Come on." Mal tells Ben, and he follows suit, Mal laying her head on his shoulder.

A loud sound comes from the ceiling, and everybody goes back to a panic. We all see a green mist before Belle and Beast, and then Mal's Mom.

"I'm back!" She yells with excitement.

"It can't be."

"Go away, mother." Mal says, annoyed.

"She's funny." Maleficent laughs. "Oh! I'm so... you're very funny. Here. Wand me. Chop chop." She stands with her arms open, and I start to worry. Mal acts like she's going to do it, but then she throws it to FG.

"No!" Ben yells.

"Bibbidi-bobbidi..." FG waves her wand.

"Boo." Everyone is frozen. Except for the Villain kids..... and me. "Psych." Maleficent laughs. "Ooh." She goes to Beast, and picks off his glasses. "Ooh, in another time, in another time." She starts singing a tune, and then she takes the wand.

"Ow! Oh. Oh, no." She sticks the wand up FG's nose. Ew. "Someone needs to pluck their nose hairs." She laughs again. "Where shall we begin? I know. Why don't we start by getting rid of this?" Mal's ring comes off her finger, and Jay squeezes my hand. "Perfect fit!" Mal looks like she wants to cry. "Oh, excuse me." She goes under FG's arms. "Pardon me. Excuse me. The horns, the horns!" She moves to Ben. "Aw... Falling in love is weak..." Maleficent messes with him. "And ridiculous. It's not what you want." She eye balls me.

"You don't know what I want! Mom, have you ever once asked me what I want? I'm not you!" Mal yells, and Jay tries to move me off to the side.

"Oh, obviously. I've had years and years and years and..." she looks around the room. "Years of practice being evil. You'll get there." She grins.

"No, I will not. And I really wish that you had never gotten there yourself. Love is not weak or ridiculous. It's actually really amazing." Mal smiles, and looks at Jay and I.

"I know one thing, young lady. You have no room for love in your life!" Maleficent looks at Jay. "You should be ashamed of yourself. Falling in love with your father's sworn enemy."

"And now I command, wand to my hand!" Mal commands, and the wand comes to her. "Ha! It worked!" Mal says in surprise.

"I hardly think so. Frankly, this is tedious and very immature. Give me the wand. Give me the wand!" Maleficent yells, getting mad.

"Hold on, Mal. Maybe good really is more powerful than evil." Carlos says, holding her arm.

"Oh, please! You're killing me. Arf!" Dude comes from the door, and gets on Maleficent. "Oh! Oh, the breath! The breath! Get off me!" Jay runs to get her scepter, and she bows her head to look at him. "Gaston should be jealous." She flicks his forehead, and I rush to help him up. "Enough! You all will regret this!" She turns into a dragon, and we start running.

"Come on. Run, Jay, run!" Carlos shouts, as Jay tries to avoid Maleficent.

"Hurry, Jay." I yell, Evie and Carlos grabbing onto my arms.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry! Jay! Watch it, Jay!Jay, come on!" The VK kids yell.

"Please, Jay! Jay!" I yell, and he comes towards us.

"Aah!" He yells.

"Magic mirror, show your bright light!" Evie blinds Maleficent temporarily.

"Behind me, E!" Mal yells. "Leave my friends alone! This is between you and me, mother." The dragon starts growing green eyes, and Jay makes me stay back. "The strength of evil is good as none, when stands before four hearts as one. The strength of evil is good as none, when stands before four hearts as one. The strength of evil
is good as none, when stands before four hearts as one!" Mal says, and then the dragon disappears.

"Oh!"

"What just happened?"

"I have no idea."

"Did you do it?"

"I don't know."

"No, no, no, no." FG comes out of her frozen state. "Your mother did. She shrank to the size of the love in her heart. That's why It's so itty-bitty."

"Is she gonna be like that forever?" They bend down.

"Well, forever is a long time. You learned to love. So can she." She smiles.

"I believe this belongs to you." Mal hands FG the wand.

"And I believe this..." FG picks up Mal's ring. "Belongs to you." Mal grins.

"You all have earned yourselves an 'A' in goodness class." They laugh, and Jay looks at me.

"Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" FG unfreezes everyone, and Ben lets his roar out.

"Well, no that she's gone." Jay grins.

"Hey, let's not forget that you went back to evil for a minute there." He shrugs.

"Eh, it comes and it goes." I grin, and Dad claps his shoulder.

"I think I need to thank you for protecting my daughter." I grin, and Jay bows his head.

"Anytime sir. Anytime." He grins at me, and Dad leaves, when Ben grabs us all.

"Well, let's get this party started!" Ben grins.

"Ohayohay, hey!" We all yell.

And that was it.

Well, there's more to Jay and I's love story, but from here on out, it really isn't very exciting.

So, I'll see you guys around.

Because we both know this isn't the end of the story.
