Chapter-13-"Enough Nick! You are such a Beast!"

Nicolas Witmore's POV

I watched as Pauline left the door, leaving me with her father alone. I looked back at him and found him watching us.

"So, you both are back again?", Brad asked with a serious face.

"Yes".

"Look Nick, I don't know what happened between you both nine years ago. One day she said that you both broke up cause it's not working. But I want to know something. After you both broke up, no since the year of graduation, she had been very sad. I lost my happy daughter.I thought she is sad because she is away from you.

I know that something happened between you two, but I don't knwo what it is. I then trusted you with my daughter, but you left her broke. I don't want that to happen again. I don't want you to break my daughter again. I will break your bones. She cried enough", he said with an almost angry voice.

"Brad, I promise you that I will not break her heart. Never. I never intended to even all those years back. I will keep her safe", I said while moving to him.

"You said that then too, but she is left heart broken. She didn't even try to look for a relationship. The one she had last year failed. She completely shut me off too once. I can't take it if she will do that again. You better understand what I am telling you!".

"I do. I understand. I sorry. I am so sorry".

"Your sorry won't do anything now".

"Give me one chance Brad. Just one chance", I pleaded him. He folded his hands near his chest, looking at me seriously.

"Why should I?", he asked looking at me.

"Because I love her! I love her so much! I.... I don't know how to make you both understand that. I know, it's been a long time, but my heart still wants her. No, need her and only her. It's has and been always her and it will always be her for me!", I almost shouted in desperation to make her understand.

I looked up and found him still not impressed with what I am saying.

"Brad, I... I can't say those long speeches like others do. I am a straight to the point kind of guy. I just want to say this. Yes, we may have.... broke up, like Pauline said, but to me we.... we seperated. I know it's so complicated to understand. But, all I want to say is.... I love her and I want to live with her. All my life", I said while looking at him.

He is looking at me like he is analizing what I just said.

"I know I may sound stupid. But if I didn't love her like you think, I wouldn't be coming here to ask your permission. Brad you are her father. You mean so much to her and that makes me feel the same about you. I want your permission for us". He kept staring at me for a minute.

"Okay. I will give you a chance. One last chance. Not just because you love her, but for my daughter's happiness", he agreed. I just went to hima nd hugged him tightly in excitment.

"Thank you! Thank you so much Brad! It means a lot to me. I will show you and Pauline, how much I love her!".

"You are welcome. But I expect you to keep your promise this time", he said the last words sternly.

"Yes. I will and you can have all the high expectations from me", I said smiling.

"Good".

"Thank you once again".

"It's okay. Take care of my princess", he said smiling at me and I grinned at him.

"Oh I will always", saying that, I came out of the room with a smile on my face. Finally! I can show her how much I love her and missed her all these years. Now no one can stop me from making her love me. Not even she herself. I lifted my head and the sight in front me made the smile on my face go away. My blood instantly boiled. My jealousy high rated.

Some guy had his hand on my girlfriends cheek. He is looking at her with that.... that look in his eyes. Pauline is looking at him too, but not with the same look. But that didn't stop my anger. Both of their heads turned to me and Pauline eyes widened. She instantly stood up and came to me. Whoever this guy is, he better run away, right now!

"Who is this?", I asked Pauline with a clenched jaw, trying myself to not loose control.

"This.... This is.... Um-", she is cut off by the man.

"Hi! I am Luke. Mr. June's doctor", he said giving me his hand to shake. I looked at hima dn his hand angrily. He took it back. Luke? Isn't he Pauline's ex-boyfriend? I looked back at her for answer. She is looking down nervously. My possessive instants kicked in.

"He is my.... ex-boyfriend", she confirmed. That's all I need for me to hit him. But I didn't. If I was a real beast right now, I would have ripped him to shreds. I fisted my palms, keeping my anger in check.

"Oh really?", I mocked. She sighed.

"Nick please. Luke meet Nick, my-", I cut her off.

"Boyfriend", I completed arrogantly. Instantly his face fell. Oh that's what I want. I want his to know his limit. I am setting boundaries. Pauline glared at me.

"Boyfriend?", he asked looking confused at us both, mainly at her. She is looking down. I slipped my hand around her waist and pulled her closer to me. I kissed her cheek.

"Yes. And you, need to stay away from her!", I said sternly. Luke looked taken aback.

"Nick", I heard Pauline warn. I will deal with her later.

"I don't want you touching her again. Got it? You better get it!".

"Okay! Um, so what did dad say?", Pauline asked trying to change the subject. I looked back at her.

"Oh Baby girl, he gave me whole rights to have you", I said and kissed her lips. SHe tried to pull back, but I kept kissing her wanting the Luke guy to watch it and know that she is not his girl anymore. She tried to pull away, but I held her. She glared into my eyes , giving me signal to stop it. I smirked at her and moved my hand to her bum. She slowly pushed me a little.

"He did that?!", she asked surprised. I kissed her lips lightly again, knowing that Luke is watching us.

"Mm. He knows how much I love you", I said loud enough for Luke to hear.

"Okay. Stop it now Nick", she whispered as I tried to kiss her again.

"No, I won't", I said against her lips.

"Nick, Luke is watching. Please", she pleaded.

"Oh you should have thought about it before", I said and kissed her again deeply. I bit her lips gently and she moaned out loud. I guess it slipped. Okay. That's makes it enough clear for him to understand that she is mine I think. Her face flushed.

"Okay. I.... Uh.... I will leave", Luke said awkwardly and gave Pauline a last lingering look before walking away. We watched as Luke disappeared at the corner. I felt a nudge in my ribs and looked down to see Pauline, pushing me.

"What?", I asked her.

"Don't 'what' me? I know why you behaved like that!", she said angrily.

"Oh really?! Good. Because I won't tolerate other men even thinking about what is mine. Just be happy that I didn't break any of his bones like I wanted to. Wait a minute! I didn't warn his to not call you Baby again!".

"Enough Nick! You are such a beast!".

"Oh if I really am one like you said, he wouldn't be breathing right now", I told her as she pushed the door of her father's room and went inside. She glared at me before walking to her father's side.

"Dad", she called him smiling. He looked up at her.

"I thought you left", he said taking her hand as she sat on the bed. I stood beside her.

"I just wanted to say bye", she told him and Brad took a look at her face.

"What did you do now?", he asked me. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Dad he showed his possessiveness in front of Luke. He kissed her in front of him and wouldn't stop!", she complained like a small kid. I can see that she wanted to point a finger at me. I hid my smile and smirked at her. Brad looked amused. He laughed out loud.

"What? You really did that?", he asked me laughing. Pauline hit him with her fist on his shoulder gently.

"Dad!".

"Sorry. But, it's funny really. Although Luke is a good man, I want him to understand that you can't date him. He has been asking me to help you go to a date with him. That guy should understand when people say no. Thank you Nick", he thanked me. To which I gave a nod with a smile. Pauline saw us smiling.

"Will you both stop it?!", she asked angrily.

"I didn't do anything", her father said raising his hands into the air, surrendering. She sighed.

"Dad, Luke said that someone paid for your surgery already. Do you know who it is? I mean, I thought maybe your other doctor might have told you. I can at least thank them for it", she asked. I instantly suck my breath in. I hope they didn't say anything to them that I was the one who paid. Brad looked at me suspiciously.

"No princess. They didn't. They said it's confidential. But now, I think I know who it is, but I should confirm first", he said looking at me. I almost huffed when he said that they didn't tell. But from his gaze, I can tell that he knows that it is me. I looked away.

"It's okay dad. Tell me once you know who it is", she told him.

"Um, Baby girl. It's late. I think we should go", I interrupted. She nodded at me.

"Okay. Good night dad. Take care. I will come tomorrow again", she said and kissed his forehead. She got up from the bed and walked to the door. I followed her, but before I can close the door, I heard Brad say.

"Thank you Nick", he said and we both know what he is talking about. I nodded my head at him.

"You are welcome", I said and closed the door. I followed Pauline to the car and opened the door for her. Once she got in, I closed it and went to my side. We both buckled our belts. I started driving.

"You should not have done that in front of Luke. It's so embarrassing", she complained without looking at me as she folded her hands near her chest.

"Why did you let him so near to you? For God sake's, he is looking at you with that look in his eyes as he held your cheek!", I said getting angry.

"But Nick-", I cut her off.

"Just leave it. You are going to be pushined for that", I said looking at her.

"Punished?! Come on really? What are you going to do? Make me write a thousand time imposition that I am your girl?", she mocked.

"No. It's not fun. Although the idea sounds fun, I won't do that. There something else in my mind", I smirked. Her eyes widened for a minute.

"No. I am not sleeping with you", she said looking at me.

"Don't worry. I won't make you do anything sexual", I told her and she let out a huff.

"Thank you", she said while placing a hand on her chest.

"But still, there are many ways to punish. Not to forget about the clauses", I reminded her, grinning inside at my devious plans.

My eyes widened again and she gave me a death look before looking away, folding her hands near her chest.

Oh, tonight is going to be so much fun!
