#Fun Fact - The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing (when using the proper position of the hands on the keyboard; Hunting and pecking doesn't count!).

.....it was a fascinating day in the ancestral house of the Pawar family. Harsh who wasn't a part chose to stay in and grasp all the old memories of his beloved maa, and to his amusement, Arundhati didn't speak much.

Well, he didn't care much.

Little did he know, his daughter, son-in-law along with his ex-wife were planning something to break his shelled-out self. On top of that, Rudra the most trouble maker was the captain of the team.

#AruSh campaign, like he said.

"Yes, you guys-" Rudra urged the people sitting around him once again, "-jealousy helps in relationships."

"How do you know? Then- wait are you in the process of being wedded?" Shivaay raised his brows in a questioning manner. Heeding to Annika growled and whacked his arms. "Of course, my Rudy boi is in love with Lavanya. Right?"

"I broke up." Rudra grinned making others question whether he was the reason why they ended. Maybe, because of his childish behaviour, she broke up, they thought. "Months back it happened, I felt cheating on her." He whispered. "Nothing about it, no regrets. I'm happy."

"Cheating? What the hell Rudra?" Shivaay shouted throwing the nearest object, that's a water bottle in his direction, which he successfully dodged. Annika rubbed his arm asking him to ask about his concerns in a better route.

"I wasn't interested. Somehow my whole scrutiny was on someone else. Another person. We fought but I enjoyed it, she said it was her hatred but I knew it was a facade to escape. I think I have found my life partner." Rudra told.

"Stupid Oberoi, you like that intelligent and 'according to information' girl right?" Annika asked with her eyebrows wriggling in teasing and a smug smile.

"Who? Soumya? Perhaps she is too good for my idiot brother. Isn't she?" Annika bobbed her head. "You do anything to her, harming her physically and mentally I will shred you into two." Rudra nervously opened his mouth wide passing a smile as Shivaay threatened.

"Not like but love her."

"Will you guys come to my problem? You, young blood can solve those silly things now concentrate on mine." Arundhati clicked her tongue as she gained the attention of the rest three people, sitting in a loop, which was out of shape now.

"Yes. Yes." Shivaay rumbled.

"Where was I?" Rudra asked rubbing his nape.

"Jealousy. You were speaking that being jelly would help." Annika assisted her brother-in-law, who seems to be conflicting information in his mind.

"Yes, thanks Vahini." Rudra licked his lips continuing further. "The main thing is to check whether the person still has feelings for their ex. And after many attempts, we did get to know that Harsh uncle is peacefully and loyal to Aunty, however, he is still disgruntled and irritated. We need to melt his erupting molten larva. So part one completed with this." Arundhati keenly listened to his words. "Part two - jealousy."

"Says the person who is still trying to woo Soumya." Om walked into the conversation and eyed Rudra.

"I'm Ru baba, the love expert." Shivaay rolled his eyes.

Annika twisted her mouth, as Om came into her sight and scooted closer to her husband and snuggled up in his strong arms. Shivaay smiled faintly watching his brother and pressed his lips on her forehead, rocking her body in a rhythm. Om was in a good direction. Om greeted them decently and settled down beside Rudra after hitting his head.

"Ouch!" Rudra yelped. "That's mean."

"You are stupid and mean too. Who eats a four years old's cookie? He was crying."

"Guys concentrate." Arundhati fed up with constant diverting topics pointed out. She swirled her head to glance at her daughter, well that was her wrongdoing as of now, was kissing her husband's jaw and her hand roaming above his chest. Shivaay's eyes closed in ecstasy. "Ahem," she cleared her throat, making the couple spring at the sudden disturbance.

"Yes. So okay it's start mission start making Harsh uncle jealous." Rudra raised his thumbs for a bump however none cared for him and we were deep in their thoughts.

"How?" Arundhati asked meekly.

"Vahini will go and tell uncle that you are getting remarried-"

"What? Hell, I won't do such things. I love him and can't see anyone as a husband other than him." Arundhati frowned.

"Some dramas would help aunty. If this doesn't work I will pay for your diesel for the whole year. I shapadh."

[Trans- promise.]

"What will I get if this works?" Rudra interrogated with mischievous laced with his tone. "Other than money and other prizable things, I accept anything. What say?"

"If this works I will always support you, save you from Sasur Ji. Also, I will organize your wedding to Soumya and then pretend it to be an arranged marriage but don't mess up with this." Annika narrowed her eyes in warning her dear devar whereas Shivaay as usually rolled his eyes at the drama unfolding.

"Sacchi?"

[Trans- Really?]

"Only if this works. Or I will go tell sasur Ji that your karnaamas, like when you were in starting of the career in the industry you had many nights stands. Shall I? He is just a call away."

[Trans- something you do that shows great strength, skill or courage]

"Okay fine," Rudra grunted huffing his cheeks.

"Chee! I'm the most responsible man here." Shivaay gave a sting eye to his brother and patted himself with pride. He leaned over to reach his wife and whispered. "I'm 'one woman' like Ramchandra Ji."

"Don't bluff." She pushed his face away from hers and blushed with his comments. Indeed he was too loyal similar to what he years back promised. And she loved him for his maintenance of the words. He was hers.

"I love you, Shivi. To the infinite." She whispered. Shivaay had his lips stretched upwards hearing her declaration.

"Concentrate!" Arundhati gritted her teeth watching all of them busy. Either romancing or in action.

It was a late night when Shivaay finished off his pending work and slipped into bed. Working eighteen hours a day was no good endeavour but to survive in the city of bills, and accommodations he had to do it.

Moreover, he wished to take a few days off owing to their first wedding anniversary, which ought to be special.

And the day was hours ahead.

Gliding into the comfy blanket he plucked his wife, who was snoring lightly with calm features on her face, to his chest and wrapped his arms around her.

Nonetheless, she didn't wake.

However, he wanted to say something immediately that he was preparing for days.

"Baby?" He called out shaking her radiant face. As a response to him, she hummed.

"Baby The Northpark is having 89% off in winter collections. And tomorrow is the last day." He recited loud, guessing that the money-saving invitations would tempt her.

And fortunately, he was right.

"WHAT? YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE." In the next seconds, she woke up kicked the blanket off and sat vertical straightening her hair, ready to visit the stores in minutes.

"It was a joke. A prank." Shivaay shrugged his shoulders earning loud and clear screeches and punches on his guts.

"I love you, baby." Annika halted abruptly hearing the three magical words. Her eyes instantly watered, and muscles froze unable to move against her wish.

"Yo-u woke me up to say thi-s?" Shivaay nodded enthusiastically.

"You fucking pig! You spoiled my sleep." Annika in fact loved his gesture but his egotistical wife wanted to oppose it. She maintained a stern face as she struggled in his hold.

"Calm down baby." He bussed her nape with his open mouth. She wanted to oppose but her body betrayed her.

"Earth to Shiv!" Shivaay's flashback turned into rest as his mother-in-law shook him. "Yes. Yes. Rudy is right!" He vaguely remembered what minutes happened also he repeated the same.

"But baba will be hurt. I can't do many crying dramas." Annika pouted.

"Yes. I'm sure you can't." Her mother taunted her. "Remember how you and your baba acted so well on your wedding day. I for a whole month thought it was real. Beti aur baba ek jaise, Dramebaaz."

[Trans- daughter and father are similar, drama queens.]

"Fine!" Reluctantly Annika agreed and started storming out to her father, not before stomping her foot.

"Baby?" Shivaay loudly called her. "Come here! You need tears."

Later he instructed Rudy to chop a few big onions for good minutes until everyone had tears in their eyes, in front of his wife and this made her teary-eyed and emotional too.

Plus her sudden mood changes were a plus point for her.

"Perfect. Now, uncle wouldn't say no to you, his pregnant daughter." Shivaay said out boisterous. "You should take such benefits very often." Om snickered watching the drama unfold.

"Next time I will try this on you. Even Shivi, my husband wouldn't say no to his pregnant wife." Shivaay glared as Annika suppressed her growing laughs.

"Okay. Jokes apart. Walk carefully and don't stumble across the lobby, although we would be behind you." He also passed on the extra piece of onion for safety reasons.

They silently tiptoed behind Annika as she carefully walked watching each step to her father's room. The rest bid behind the huge pillar hoping that their body or shadows weren't visible.

"Baba!" Annika cried not before sniffing the onion price and throwing it away as she approached her father, who was too busy in his thoughts to sense her first. But when he did, he rushed to her and made her sit on the bed.

Harsh was afraid of watching his daughter weeping inconsolably.

"A- aai is getting remarried." Annika pretended to have hiccups in between her words. To Harsh, it was a heart-wrenching moment. His daughter was crying and he couldn't do anything about it.

"What?" He asked as his hopes of reuniting shattered.

"Yes. She is in love with someone she also said that he is going to be my baba." She innocently flattered her lashes yearning that them to look real.

"Bullshit!" Harsh cursed.

"No cursing. Mr Bill might hear." Harsh rolled his eyeballs as she placed her palms on her midsection as if she was covering the baby's ears.

"I'm. Your. Father. And. Will. Always. Remain. Till. Eternal."

"But Aai told so." She pulled her lips out and said.

"Fuck your Aai!" Annika gasped and shook her head in an attempt to throw a disgusting picture that formed in her head. "Your Aai has been a problem since early days, how dare she move on when I'm here, her husband?" He growled and marched out of the room.

"Acting kar ne ko bola tha, overacting nahi. Great performance!" Arundhati and the gang entered the room as Harsh fled in his anger.

[Trans- told you to act not overreact.]

"With this acting only you believed me years back." Annika sweety answered fist-bumping with her husband.

"You did an extraordinary job, baby," Shivaay said in between his kisses on her cheeks.

"Aai?" Annika called out.

"Yes?"

"What will I get? If you both come up together?" She asked sincerely.

"What else, your parents would be together. Isn't it what you wanted for years? See now I'm full filling it."

"I wanted but not now in fact, you are wishing it presently. If my works succeed you shall prioritize baba additionally, I wish you both to help me raise my first baby as grandparents. I want peace."

"Why do you always want to negotiate?" Arundhati inquired.

"I was born to Arundhati who herself was very intimidating and being daughter-in-law to Tej who is bossy helped me a lot. And I'm learning from my husband but by bit. Is that a yes?"

"Yes." Arundhati softly smiled as she kissed her daughter affectionately. She now realised what she had missed in years.

"That's my baby!" Shivaay cheered as his wife's dream was going to be fulfilled in days.
