#Fun Fact - Human teeth are the only part of the body that cannot heal themselves. Teeth are coated in the enamel which is not living tissue.
Arundhati was no longer a minister of a particular area, instead, now she was the chief minister of the entire state. Her pursuit was restored. She had many things left behind to stay in this position, she left her husband behind, she left her married name and lifestyle behind her and finally the last strong string was her mother. Her mother, Vaidehi was her only blood relative after her father was martyred as a might man serving the country. Born in men dominant country like India she announced one day she would change all of them, and in the process of changing, her old self was relinquished in the world. She was no longer a naive and timid young girl but a chauvinist and shrewd who was ready to do anything for her and her daughter's wellbeing.
Husband didn't matter. Maybe lesser than her daughter.
That stirred up problems in her matrimonial life. After tasting the success she deemed to change, her mindset was rewritten. Harsh, her husband was struggling in his professional career, and his publication house didn't do generously thus adding insults and taunts at his direction from his wife. Their goal was crashed with incompatibilities and accordingly, she decided to divorce. Even after being separated from each other, they didn't move on with their life but remained loyal to each other and the daughter they shared.
Thinking of the past Arundhati was once again made to reconsider the decisions she took in haste. She reckoned, that she and Harsh would be a good couple if she didn't ask for separation? It wasn't the first time she speculated this. Over years she was understanding her foolishness.
Now she was glad that her daughter was in safe hands. She was delighted to see her son-in-law who wasn't jealous of her daughter's success, instead, he was the one who constantly supported her.
Like herself, her daughter had a bigger career than her husband. She just hoped that her daughter wouldn't backbite her son-in-law familiar with what she did, leaving her husband for her career, her dream. Shivaay has been a very mature, understanding and balanced individual, much to her satisfaction.
Spouse and career were two different aspects of life which were supposed to lead simultaneously not by a single.
"Ma'am." She jerked out of her swimming thoughts hearing her personal secretary speak. "Ma'am your daughter and son-in-law will be landing in the next few minutes along with the Oberoi family. Would you like to postpone your work for the same?"
"Definitely." Bobbing slightly at her, Arundhati passed the files to a few teams as she stepped out of the cabin.
Within the next few hours, she winded up her pending work, which was in the urge to complete and headed off to pick up her daughter, whom she will be facing physically for years.
As soon as she reached the terminal with her protection on, her face fell glancing at the familiar face. Too familiar to be called a stranger but not a one.
Her hus- ex-husband.
"Jabaradasta! Tula amacya mulila ucalayala vela milala." She gritted her jaws hard as he openly taunted her. That was common of him but insulting her ahead of her workmates, wasn't acceptable. "I thought you might be busy with work. You were too busy to give time to your husband and imagine my dau-"

"Our. Our daughter." Arundhati clenched her jaws as she whispered dangerously close to his ears.
"No. My daughter. It was I who took part in every way in her life. As a father, I was part of her life but did you? Were you? Did you at least spend quality time with her? No. You were busy chasing after your dream, your money." He growled. His chest puffed and shook as he threw glares at her. "You are no mother."
"Harsh you are crossing your limits."
"Kya limits? Did you once meet her in a while?" He dryly chuckled. "No? Complete two years. Don't you feel like meeting her? Hug her? I sometimes doubt whether you are her biological mother or not. But then I have seen it all, those labour hours, hospital."

Tears formed in her eyes. His words were accurate however jabbed her heart, cutting a piece of flesh.
Words were guiltily authentic.
"You loved Sonu dearly, you wanted to be part of everything. How did things change? Was I not supportive? Was I a male chauvinist? I only asked for your free time for me and our daughter nothing more."
Wasn't he saying was the reality? Arundhati felt her senses stop at once. She was the main reason for their dysfunctional matrimonial life. People of her age would be happily married and playing with their grandchildren perhaps her life was sour.
Just like her mind.
Everything went down the street.
Before she could retort, Harsh coughed up gesturing her to wipe her tear strain. Her heart swelled up seeing the concern he held even after a year but her happiness shattered when she jacked up to glance at her daughter cheerfully waving in their direction.
He didn't want her to see us fight.
She thought.
"Baba!" Dropping her handbag in her husband's arms Annika galloped and hugged her father, who protectively embraced her kissing her forehead.
It was a happy reunion.
"Namaste Uncle." Shivaay walked into the frame pushing the trolley, greeting Harsh and then turned to Arundhati with a smile. "Namaste Aai."
Keeping the bags aside Shivaay touched his father-in-law's feet grasping for blessing for which Harsh grumpily did. Shivaay did the same to his mother-in-law and then side hugged her.
"Learn some from my damaad Sonu!" Arundhati hissed as her daughter, was still glued to her father forgetting her mother. Hearing it Shivaay grinned at the little appreciation.

"Stop calling him Uncle." Annika snapped at her husband, who still addressed her father with formality but not his mother.
It was a struggle to change the topic the conversation was heading to.
"Your father isn't comfortable with that. He still has doubts about me. I'm sure he grumpy man still." Shivaay glanced at the father-daughter from his peripheral view, who twisted their mouth at his words.
"That's right. Even I have doubts about you. And after last week's incident, my qualm grew up like a mountain." Annika muttered.
"I heard that."
"That was meant to be." Shivaay grumpily swirled his head away from her.
"That's my daughter! Shabash! I see you are the ringmaster. I'm so proud of you." Annika blushed with embarrassment and hid her head in her father's crook. "You are just like your Aai." Harsh kissed his daughter as emotionally teared up.
Arundhati gasped at the words and looked horrified by Harsh. Was he teaching Sonu to control her husband? Or did she control Harsh? Arundhati thought.
"Would you two come with me or go your sasural? Tej bhai saab and others?" Arundhati asked.
"They are completing the customs. We passed faster. They all will go to Oberoi Mansion once done." Shivaay answered.
"No Aai. We aren't going to Oberoi Mansion. We still stay-" Annika's words halted as Harsh forcefully dragged her towards his car and pushed her into the seat.
"Tumhi kaya pahata ahata?" Harsh yelled as he watched Shivaay standing up similar to that of a light street light. Exactly dumb how he thought of it.
[Trans - what are you looking at?]
"Huh!" Alas for Shivaay Marathi wasn't his cup of coffee.
"What are you looking at? Grab the bags and sit in the backseat." Harsh gritted his teeth repeating the words.
"Gadhe! I told you to learn more but you were busy romancing." Annika mumbled.

"Yeah. Tell me about it. Wife, clingy like hell."
"You!"
"V."
"Wait! What's going on? Why would they go into your flat? I have a big bungalow. They will come with me." Arundhati argued to Harsh.
"My mother-in-law stays with me so does my daughter." Harsh retorted.
"Yours is a small one."
"I agree that mine is the smallest but I have the heart to fill in. Unlike your own heart. My daughter and her husband will stay with me. You live with that gunda Prakash, your unofficial brother." Harsh snarled making the young couple sigh at their best.
