#Fun Fact- Avocados are a fruit, not a vegetable. They're technically considered a single-seeded berry, believe it or not.
Adjusting his huge enormously huge, ebony-brownish summer hat Khanna peeked up from his eyes and again lowered his level. Beside him, Eliana stood with her face covered with one of her winter scarfs collections. Her eyes travelled along the waiters serving around and settled on their prey. Shivaay and his friend Sid, both were pretty busy in their crisis. One was crying heartily and the other sat numb not knowing how to console.
"Aves! Target found. Get ready for action." Khanna whispered into her ears as they eyed the young boys having their non-alcoholic drinks.
"Khanna you better behave well, or Tej sir will kick off your butt," Eliana warned as she rose from her crunched position. Supporting herself with the high stool she smoothened her black maxi dress and eyed their prey.
"Fine." Twisting his mouth in annoyance Khanna followed her with smooth reflexive actions. They thwarted as their targets moved to an isolated corner of a bar.
"Shit! We can't move further." Eliana grunted gritting her teeth.
"Or else Shivaay Sir will discover us, following him everywhere he goes." Comprehending her upcoming words, Khanna completed her sentence with pride and threw a tolerant look at her.
Rolling her eyes at him Eliana stayed grounded and her eyes travelled every bit of the surroundings calculating her moves. Few reclined on the stool gulping their alcoholic beverages, others making out with partners, Khanna scrunched his nose in disgust knowing that his Shivaay sir was here.
Particularly in a bar.
"Idea!" Khanna exclaimed louder than expected. When Eliana gave him an unpleasant stare, he continued to speak. "We can't afford to spare glances at him but we can hear them speak right?"
"What's your point?" Not being disappointed with his lamest idea Eliana asked with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Technologies have been a great blessing to us-"
"Clearly. Speak to the point or I will pour a bucket full of cold water on your dumb head." She growled.
"We will up the call on recording and discreetly adjust near him. What say?" Beaming at her Khanna flapped his hands gleefully.
"Who will do this?" Raising her brows at him she looked keenly aware of his lament ideas ever. On the other hand, Khanna looked around finding an opportunity to apply his plan.
"Dial my phone." He commanded her authoritatively when he glimpsed a waiter moving in the right direction and when she did he accepted the call. Eliana looked more confused than before however, she decided to stay mum and let him do his job.
As the waiter came with a tray containing shots of vodka in his hands Khanna slightly dashed with him and completed his job of discreetly placing his phone beneath the bill book.
"I'm sorry. So sorry." The waiter with a white rolled-up shirt and matching black scarf around his neck looked uncomfortable with Khanna's weird hat but remembering his employer's words - customers are God, treat them well- he let him go.
"It's done. Here ear pods." He stretched his plans with pods as the waiter left with mumbling something under his breath.
Not that he cares.
Nodding at him Eliana lowered her scarf which had covered most of her face and inserted one of the pods in her ears. As Khanna did the same, both moved to some distance and sat on a couch constantly eyeing their target. Shivaay's back faced them and Sid's face was a blur but was identifiable.
"So tell me how is your relationship moving, with your manipulative partner, who cheated on me." Khanna swirled over his shoulders to look at Eliana as they hear a faint voice from pods.
"She is everything I'm not. It's so nice than expected. Till now it's smooth as butter." Khanna furrowed as he heard some 'coes and oohs' from Sid as Shivaay answered genuinely.
"It's our two month anniversary today." Shivaay's fluttering tone resonated Khanna and Eliana's eardrums making their eyes widen than before with the revelation.
"By the way who is Sitara? You did text something like that."
"Nothing."
"Ohh, come on Bhai! I am your chuddie-buddy." Sid spoke with his drunken voice.
"She is planning on naming our daughter, as Sitara. About the future."
"Really? Sitara? Haha I-" Sid broke into fits of laughter while Khanna here kitted his brows in confusion
"Shush" Eliana hushed Khanna as he opened his mouth to speak something. Commenting on the situation.
"She is pregnant. We are having a baby." Khanna leaned over with the shock hearing Shivaay's firm attitude. Eliana on the other hand whacked her jaws salvaging from opening her sass and speaking. They both eyed the two dark figures as a person facing them back cracked up and went on ahead with the shots.
It was Shivaay.
He was father-to-be.
He was too fast.
Anniversary.
Manipulative partner.
Many thoughts swirled around his mind. To say the shock wasn't a proper word to describe his situation, he was agitated that his Sir was being cheated on, nervous imagining Tej sir's reaction, happy for the child.
They turned their eyes heeding to a crashing sound. It was Khanna's newest version of the iPhone, his precious phone. Making some faces he tugged his hat when they found Shivaay and Sid staring at them.
"You look good." Khanna twitched Eliana's brown locks beneath her beige coloured scarf and looked affectionately.
"Gone." Parting her lips she murmured.
"Huh!"
"Both are gone!" Eliana pushed him off her and glared at him for pulling out such stunts. These stunts created a little bit of havoc in her pumping organ.
"Tej Sir. I will call and inform him." Composing himself he turned away and ring the number with her phone considering his broken phone.

Jhanvi let out a long, deep breath that showed disappointment towards her husband, who sat beside the head chair mumbling about the girl he met and fought. It was nth time all were hearing non-ending rants.
"How dare she? She didn't even realise that she was speaking to me, The great industrialist Tej Singh Oberoi. I was sure-" Jhanvi rolled her eyes at him and continued eating her light food according to her diet plan.
"Sukar hai. Us brilliant ladakee mein aapake khilaaph bolane kee himmat hai." Pinky Ji snickered over the spoon as she was about to taste the Gajar ka halwa. With her words, everyone burst out laughing pointing at Tej's looks and the girls' bravery and courage to speak something like no other could.
[Trans- thank God. That brilliant girl dared to speak against you.]
"Areee chado mere bete ko, be hard Tej." Kalyani interfered with the talks halting their laughs and giggles. Tej beamed gorgeously as his mother supported him at the end of the day.
[Trans- hey! let go of my son alone.]
Tej has always been an exemplary and ideal son to others. Being the eldest among two he was pampered a bit extra than his younger. From his younger days to the present he has always been running behind his mother for attention and affection. Likewise, Kalyani was proud of her both sons although they were distant apart in their way.
"Thanks, ma." Tej hugged his mother, who was sitting on the head chair of eighteen seaters dining table.
"Hum Tej ko baad mein chidha sakate hain lekin ab baat karate hain mahashivratri kee." At this Tej whined similar to that of a five-year-old child being for chocolates.
[Trans- We can tease Tej later but now let's speak of Mahashivratri.]
"Right ma." Shakti joined the conversation with a chuckle. Previously Shakthi was too busy in his thoughts to concentrate on the family talks.
"Everyone attention here." Kalyani clapped her hands gaining all the scrutiny on her. "Tomorrow is mahashivratri and everyone is expected to be ready before sunrise. Got it?" Tilting her head sideways she asked.
"I can't. I have something to do with tomorrow." Tej raised his brows at his younger brother as he mumbled under his breath.
"Why is that so?" Tej asked with full intentions of wanting to know about his new self, which is was lurking.
"I can't come too. I'm joining chote papa." As Rudra announced every head in the hall looked at him with a distracted look.
"Don't look at me like that chote papa. You thought only you can have blueberry jam sandwiches?" Wiping his stained lips with a handkerchief Rudra stood up. "I'm similarly invited. Sonu and Shivi are waiting." Suppressing his grin he eyed each face of the family.
"Ouch." Rudra gasped as Shakthi kicked his shin beneath the table. "Nothing. I And Rudra have something to do with." Shakti stretched his faked smile and stood up wanting to move out.
"Which work? You didn't say anything before though?" Pinky exclaimed.
"I'm teaching him meditation for a good score. Lately, his score is like deadpan so-" Rudra vaguely nodded his head seeing the death glares from his chote papa.
Bringing close to him Shakthi wrapped his arms around his shoulder, he dragged both of them, out.
"What just happened?" Om asked infected with moves in the family.
Tej opened his mouth to speak of something but immediately sealed heeding his phone going off. Wiping his hands in the hand towel he received the call and adjusted on the table with a loudspeaker, loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Sir code W." The caller spoke.
"Reveal."
"I and Aves followed our target today. This time we were able to catch him speaking to his friend Siddharth Rana." Humming to Tej continued to stare at the phone while others stayed open-mouthed.
"He got a girl pregnant. He and the girl are celebrating their second anniversary, today." Listening to Khanna all drop their spoons down and a dramatic silence increases.
"Siddharth?" Om tried to get news in proper sequence.
"I'm sorry but it's Shivaay sir." That was the end of the patience for Pinky. She always wished for a Sanskari Punjabi girl but her son already have been involved in the relationship two years back.
[Trans- Traditional and good-hearted]
That means a white girl.
"Ohh my mata." Pinky started her crying session with her palms on her head with a defeated look.
[Trans- My goddess.]
If Rudra was here definitely he would have commented something like - maa ka ladla bigad gaya.
[Trans- mother's beloved son is spoiled.]
"Where is he now?' Jhanvi worried aloud.
"Ma'am with his friend he was a bit drunk so I and Aves dropped him at his apartment. We knocked on the door and hid behind one of the pillars to keep an eye on Sir." Khanna started with inhaling a larger scale of oxygen.
"When the door opened a girl similar to Omkara sir's age unwrapped. Later seeing Shivaay sir, she started chiding him for drinking on a special day." Eliana completed explaining everything they both had witnessed.
"Tell me more of that girl," Tej commanded.
"Sir with her clothes I think she more westernised and bubbly girl-" Eliana commenced only to be interfered with by Khanna.
"She is no bubbly girl Aves! Didn't you see how she whacked sir when he wanted to kiss her?"
"I would have done the same thing. Shivaay sir was drunk so she handled in her way." Eliana retorted.
"Did you guys just see them making out in their flat?" Om asked with unbelievable looks.
"No. No."
"Sir. They starting on doorstep itself sir." Khanna giggled over the phone, making them shake their heads with incredible expressions.
"Stay there. I meant out. Tomorrow our beloved billu is gonna explain everything."
"Why not now? Let's go now. I don't want a white background in my grandkids' DNA, jeeth Ji." Jhanvi suppressed her smile even at this crucial time.
"Pinky your husband and my son are also pawns of this game. Let the sunrise, I am gonna kick lad's butt."
