#Fun fact -More human twins are being born now than ever before.
It was yet again a crazy start for her. Commencing with a bad stumble over her favourite couch Annika had come a long way in the time to be thrown out by the professor. The female professor was dealing with taxation lessons and explained it to be important considering crucial points in the sixth semester. It all started with her persuading the professor to join her husband's cooking channel and ended up boosting his talent and later being thrown.
Though it didn't matter, it was her regular thing to be out of the classes usually. However, she felt the threat of the professor becoming true; informing her parents regarding the same. Shoving the small pebbles on the ground, she pushed herself to walk all way to the parking lot.
Untangling herself on the cement bench, she comfortably sat shifting her legs involuntarily. Spending time on social media wasn't a valid option right now, but also she had no work. Pulling her phone out from the sling bag she intensively gazed at the updated wallpaper, she and Shivaay stood almost near to each other flexing their newly tattooed forearms.
"Hey." She snapped out of her non-ending thoughts and looked at a competently dressed middle-aged man.
"You had rejected the internship offer in the accounting department of Oberoi industries if I'm not wrong. I remember that." He raised a question at her. His complexity was soft and subtle, his eyes were warm and cosy.
"Hmm. I'm not interested." She answered not being enthusiastic in talking to a mere stranger.
"Why though? It's a good firm, you won't get this offer again in your lifetime. You however still have time to rethink." Annika snorted hearing his dominant voice, which was almost urging her to compel him.
"I don't go into a nepo company like the one you are talking about, and more particularly I wish for bigger than a small accountant job. I am born to be a leader." Angrily she stood up dusting her invisible dust and glared at the man double of her size.
Learning from her advances Tej grew anxious. His warm personality from the start began to fade away, his eyes turned deep black with hostility toward her.
"What did you say? Nepo? Do you even know me? The whole world wants to work with us and you are disrespecting us. Pathetic, silly girl." He raised his tone higher similar to what he uses with his employees.
"Yeah. Anyone would say it's a nepo product. The founder Prithviraj sir established hoping for a better height but his sons needed a push to solidify themselves." Shrugging her shoulders she replied with a no-nonsense attitude. The man ahead of her flared his nose in outrage and she could almost see the hot fume resigning from his ears and nose.
"Do you even know who with whom are you talking to? The Great industrialist Tej Singh-" he halted watching her show her palms in gestures.
"Not attracted with nepotism."
"So tell what your parents do? If not nepotism." Sarcastically he raised his brows in mock as he implored.
"My mother is a politician and father owns his publication house. And coming to my husband he left his house to start a career of his own. Unlike you."
"You little woman how dare you to speak to me?" He was seconds away from trussing on her despicable and yet strongly entrenched figure when the college authorities came out hearing the heated argument.
The department head, Rehman Fariq gulped seeing the major trustee posing with his flared nose like an almighty. He knew what place Tej stands for the college. Inflating his breath he walked to the point where both Tej and Annika stood scowling at each other.
"I pity you husband, who has to tolerate your big mouth." Tej childishly snickered as he oversaw her from his shoulders.
Annika twisted her mouth and stepped forward to acknowledge his statement but abruptly ceased sensing an intense glaze from her peripheral vision. Her professor had a look that meant serious, like cutting the internal scores. Ignoring the stronger glares cutting through her flesh, she ultimately opened her mouth to retort back.
"I pity your, employees. Poor them, they have to face such a cruel and shrewd man like you. Ohh. But I think your family is most affected by this. My deepest condolences to them."
By the end of her monologue, Tej was shaking with immense outrage and frustration. Frustration that a young girl could answer him back and disgruntled because of her wrong choice of phrases by dragging his family.
Family is love. And everything to him.
"You-" he swirled turning to the college community heads "Is this the way you strengthen students? Is this the way Oberoi's are treated?" Annika's ears perked up hearing a familiar name ringing.
Have I heard that surname before? I- well never mind. This is not that important. I guess. She sloped her eyes trying to recall.
"It was your wrong move to question my preference. And later you dragged the arguments with your loud and annoying tone."
"How dare you call my voice annoying? I was a stage artist in an orchestra." Tej broadened his eyes hearing accusing him.
"A singer? I bet not even a fly would have attended." Annika giggled pointing fingers at an angered Tej.
"Ms Annika Gaikwad-" the department head halted seeing her discomfort and waiting until her next words.
"Mrs Annika. Married and taken." The students surrounding them laughed out hearing her counter words.
"Well, Mrs Annika I want your parents the next working day. That is next Monday. I understand you are one of the best students but this move of yours is not acceptable. It's not for talking suck of Mr Oberoi but violating college laws." Tej scowled. Weren't them should be supporting him? Instead, here they were consoling a silly girl.
"But sir my parents aren't here, they are in Thane." Annika tried reasoning behind the scenes. That would be a disaster if her mother finds that she was a spoiler on the premises.
"Mrs Annika need not worry, I will personally contact the MLA of Thane. Mrs Arundhati Pawar." He smirked.

"This is all because of you." Annika whisper yelled to Tej. As a response to her, he rolled his black eyeballs and leaned back to his seat.
Sitting at the principal's office Annika tapped her foot continuously waiting for her suspension letter, however, Tej waited for his son.
"First my son has again bunked his classes and immediately meeting this heated-angry headed girl. My day can't be too worse than this one." Tej muttered as he noticed Annika tiptoeing the length of the room when the principal headed to print the letter.
"Sir it's mahashivratri the next day. So any offers-" Annika dragged her sentence looking at her principal.
Tej was low-key impressed with her confidence level. Anyone in her place would have been trembling with fear but Annika seems to differ. In fact, she had the audacity to talk against him.
But she was annoying.
"I will waiting to meet your guardian sooner." Plastering a smile on his wrinkled face the principal handed over the letter to her.
