#Fun Fact- Pigs can’t look up into the sky – it’s physically impossible.
His emotions were invaded by her. Her chirping personality was the limelight, her giggles made him smile. He fell in love with her. It was sweet passion at the original lookout for her, even though he didn't believe in that. He was a man of principles, manifestation and but with a mere sight of her, he was ready to lose all of them. His mind and heart held different aspects on the issue, on one side he understood her being already committed to a relationship but on the other hand, he still hoped for any miracles to happen.
He believed in second chances.
He knew that the girl he encountered was an important part of his life.
No matter what.
"O did Ishana di send me something?" His thoughts scrubbed off when his younger brother shook him vigorously.
"Nah. She was shopping for her parent's anniversary, not for you." Om shrugged off, again trying to focus on his tainted hands.
"Ohh. I'm disappointed." Rudra pouted hearing his brother. Passing on a slight smile, Om started wiping his brushes with the linseed oil and unimpeachably positioned the different sizes of brushes in his cloth roll-up case.
"Can I ask you a suggestion?" Jacking up his head levelling to meet Rudra's eyes, he asked with a tint of doubtfulness.
"Yeah, you can. By the way, I'm Romeo Oberoi of our family, I'm cent sure that no one can harm my position. Not even papa or bhaiya." Rudra smirked tugging his imaginary collars upwards with immense pride.
"So... What I wanted to ask is-" Omkara dragged his words and faced his brother to see his response.
"Come on, bro don't shy away from me. Speak up."
"Rudra is it possible to feel connected to someone, just met once for minutes?" Keeping aside the linseed oil bottle he asked with scepticism.
"It depends. With your words, I believe it's a girl, so. For me it's not true attraction rather it's is one fling."
"I'm not in those things. I believe in true love." Om argued back.
"I know. I don't acknowledge in a true relationship, there are many girls why settle with a girl life long." Shrugging his shoulder with ease, Rudra sat opposite to him leaning on the chair.
"I didn't get it."
"See we O'bros have different reflections on this-" When Om nodded understandingly, he proceeded.
"Like Bhaiya is fully into his career rather than girls, he also believes that marriage is the ultimate goal when you are financially stable."
"How is Shivaay related to this?"
"Patience. I'm coming to the point. Where was I?" He tapped his chin confusingly similarly and exhaled. "So you say that you are attracted to the certain girl."
"I'm saying that it was more than a crush. And I loved her personality. But-"
"But? What?" Rudra asked quickly seeing his fallen and shrunken face.
"She is married."
"WHAT?"
"Yeah. I met her at a supermarket and on top of that Ishana opened her feelings for me. I'm confused." Rubbing his ears tips with utter complication he sighed.
"Do you think it was more than a crush?" Rudra asked getting impatient.
"I know it's wrong to develop that feeling, but I can't help it. She was so happy when her husband was precipitously searching for her. She was happy with him." He wiped his dampened cheek walls as he remembered her happy face when she was hugging her husband.
"That is the wrong O" Rudra shook his head disappointed, he slumped right beside Om and placed his hands on his.
"I know I am behaving extremely selfish. But with my past relationship with Riddima, it's coping hard. I don't know." Om pulled his lower lips struggling to stay stable rather than burst out crying.
"Will you listen to me?" Rudra asked with anticipation.
"Ya, if it's not troublesome." Om let out a low snickering.
"Forget that girl. I know it's hard but I know you can do it. Try giving a chance to Ishana di. She has known you for years so she will be good for you."
Rudra deciphered keeping in mind his sensitive personality. He knew, Om wasn't a macho man rather he was sensitive, emotional and a believer of fairy tales who don't think practically.
"But-"
"Ishana di is good with you and also our family." Rudra reasoned.
"What if, it doesn't work? What if it ends like past?"
"What if, it works out? What if di is our seriously wanted soul partner? Think positive O." Rudra patted his shoulder like a wise, confusing his elder brother about his maturity.
Om blinked his eyelashes hoping that it wasn't a dream of visualising his baby brother as an experienced man.
Is he real? When did dumbbell grow up to a man?
"Accha, come let's go down. Amrish Puri is waiting for me, to beat me into pulp." Rudra added with his widening eyes, emphasising about his father Tej.

[Trans-What did you do this time?]
"O fast. He is down standing near the stairs with a stick. Now only you can help me, as I helped you now. If bhaiya was here, he would have saved me." Om busted out laughing watching him go all dramatic.
"Dramebaaz." Lightly slapping his cheeks, Om comforted him to get up and hauled him out of the room. To save their father.

Jhanvi propped her hands cradling her chin between both palms. Maintaining a blank face void of all emotions she glared at her younger son, who looked like an innocent sacred puppy but actually, he wasn't so naive to think.
"67 per cent in the whole semester." Rudra gobbled the chunk in his throat and awkwardly giggled at his father as he started with his scoldings.
"Where were you, if not attending classes? Bunking?"
"Papa, you know I was studying under a campus tree. I was having a shortage of luminous light, so I sat there all the time studying for next season."
"Khoteya, at least lie convincingly." His dadi, Kalyani snickered over him. Listening to her Pinky and Om muffled their growing laughter.

"When I was your age, neither I nor Shakthi had these privileges you have now like, going to college with a motorbike. I used to walk barefoot, to 12 miles." Tej sat down rigidly opposite to him and started narrating his piece of life.
"Papa then you should have crossed Himalayan Mountain right? I am so proud of you papa, you sat beneath to street light at night to study." Rudra spoke with his sarcasm dripping and held an innocuous face.
Kalyani burst out laughing and hi-fied with her grandson who hooked his father's mouth.
"Sonu would be best bhabhi to you, Rudy. Exactly like you, Rudy. She is the best daughter." Shakti added dreaming of Annika. He smiled wider remembering his last brunch meet with her.
"You all should taste her special blueberry jam. It was epic."
"Who Sonu?"
"Daughter? Even I wanted to have one. Bas teen nalayak mil gaye."

"Shakti Ji, who's daughter? Don't tell me you are cheating on me. Mummy Ji, aap ka ladla beta...see what he is doing."

[Trans- God has listened to my wish.]
"What are you speaking of chote papa? Daughter, bhabhi, doesn't make sense. Or did you mean Shivaay's would be a wife?" At last, being sensible among all Omkara asked with a bit of inquisitiveness.
"Nothing." Smoothening his wrinkles kurtha, Shakthi stood up waiting to escape from the blunter created. "Nothing. I was night-dreaming."

Relaxing flat on her stomach, Annika pondered over Shakti's visit which was a before yesterday. Both had gossiped continuously for hours forgetting the running time. It was only when Shivaay came back home after his event they realized that they had spent over the decided duration.
Her thoughts revolved around the coming Valentine's day and she wanted her husband to make a move. But considering his none charming moves, she asked for his contact number from his father.
