"JAMES! GIVE IT BACK!" I yell trying to reach my wand that James stole from me. "HA HA! NOT HAPPENING!" He leaughed and started to run across the shore of the Black Lake. "No fair!" I shout and take off after him.

The others just watch us, not bothering to intervene. "LILY BLOCK HIM!" I say as I notice her ahead of me. SHe sticks her foot out in front of him making him trip so I can tackle him. "Give." I say staring him in the eyes.

"How about...... no!" He says. I growl in annoyance. "James" "Don't you dare." "James Kyle-" "Fine! Take it back!" He said and dropped my wand. "Thank you! Was that so hard?" I asked with a smile.

"Yes." He grumbled. "James Kyle Potter!" I shouted and took off once more. "BAILEY!" He shouted and chased after me. I ran and hid behind Remus who was reading his book. "hide me!" I squealed and all three chuckled.

James stopped in front of them gasping for breathe. "Where'd *pant* she *gasp* go? *wheeze*" I grinned and hid lower behind Remus. "Can you breathe James? You seem to be struggling." Sirius said in an obvious tone.

"Shut the bloody hell up." He said in annoyance. "Nah." He said and leaned back, hands behind his head. My brown hair was revealed as he did so and James happened to notice. "BAILEY!" I screamed and ran off once more.

I climbed up a tree nearby and sat on a branch that was at least 7 feet off the ground. "Ha! Get me now James." I said and stuck my tongue out at him. "Cheater! You know I hate climbing!" He accused and I laughed. "Serves you right for chasing me for using your middle name for stealing my wand for no reason."

He shook his head and walked away. "Enjoy getting down!" He waved and sat by Peter. "Huh? AH!" I screamed and clung onto the trunk as I realized how high up I was. "jerk!" I yelled.

I was now genuinly scared of my predicament. "James!" I called. "You're fine!" He responded not moving. "No I'm not!" I retorted. "James. Look she's actually scared." Remussaid but he shook his head.

"She's just joking." He said as tears sprung in my eyes. "POTTER SHE'S ACTUALLY CRYING!" Lily yelled, finally noticing my expression. "She's what?!" He said and raced over. Lily scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Bailey are you actually scared?" He asked looking up. I only responded by squeezing the trunk tighter and nodding, with my eyes shut tightly. The others hurried over and peered up at me too. "How do I get down?!" I demanded.

"You always climb not me!" James claimed. "Not helping!" I said my voice breaking. "James if she doesn't get down she'll have a panic attack." Remus said noticing that I was pale as paper.

"Arghhhhhhhhh! What now?!" Lily looked up at me before dragging Severus over. "Severus you remember the feather charm?" She sked but James cut her off. "Snivellus is not helping my sister!"

"Would you rather she had a panic attack?!" "Guys! Shut up for once and just get me down!" I called not moving but I'm shaking. "Whatever. Just this once." He growled grudgingly.

"Right um here we go. Levio Reducto!" I feel myself become lighter so I jump down. James catches me and I squeeze the life out of him. I turn to Severus and hug him to. "Thank you!" I say and let go.

James is glaring at him and I sigh sadly. "I-I'm going inside. I don't feel like staying out here." I whisper rubbing my arms. "I'll come with you." Lilly says and we walk inside Severus following us.

"thanks for saving me Severus. I probably wouldn't have made it down without you." I say with a small blush. "Yeah? Well I guess you are my friend." HE said awkwardly. I smile. "Yeah! Friends! The three of us against the world!" I said pumping my fist. Lily giggles while he rolls his eyes.

"What should we be called? My brother and his friends are the Marauders. So what are we?" I say thoughtfully. "Nothing?" Severus said bored but I ignored him. "HMMMMM OH! The divas!?" I suggested. They shook their heads and I frowned.

"The dragons?" Shot down again. "Come one! I'm not creative!" I say in annoyance. "How about later? How are you not still in shock?" Lily asked and I paused for a minute as we walked. Why was I not in shock?

"I dunno. Weird though." I say. They nod and we go our seperate ways. I head to the library, Lily the Gryffindor common room, Severus the Slytherin common room. I scan the shelves rapidly looking for one book in particular.

"Found you!" I whisper and pull it off the shelf. I sit at a table and turn on the oil lamp, knowing I'll be here for a while. "Chapter One: So you wann know more about..........." I begin to devour the words. Occasionally having to guess since some words were marked out.

"Chapter 26: How to recognize signs of..................." I'm beginning to realize why I never checked this book out. It took a long time to read and I'm not even half way through!

I begin to close my eyes. "Maybe a little nap won't hurt?" My head lands on the book and I'm fast asleep.

"Bailey." Something shaking my shoulder. "Bailey!" a bit louder. "Bless it Bailey. Wake up!" I shoot up my eyesight somewhat blurry. "Hmm? What?" I ask and rub my eyes.

"You were asleep." The voice said and I turned to see Sirius standing beside me. "Yeah I was reading said book and got tired about 1/4 way through." I explained closing the book.

"Yep I can tell. what you reading anyways?" He asked curiously. "Don't worry about it." I say and stuff it back on the shelf before he can read the title. "What time is it?" I ask as we walk back to the common room.

"It's 8:30. James sent me to find you since you were still gone." He explained. "Wow I thought it would take a while but not this long!" I exclaimed as we climbed the stairs. "Yep. Bet you'll be awake ALLL night." He said with a wink and I groaned. "You're right!" I said throwing my head back.
