Suzaku POV

I finish all the work while Lelouch finish the last bit he had. Akito was still reading a book that he brought when he went to get some drinks for all of us.

"Akito I've noticed that you follow Leila at all times. By any chance are you her bodyguard?"

"No, I'm doing the job I was told to do as a lieutenant. It's my job to make sure the commander is safe at all times." Akito said as kept reading.

"That's a bunch of lies. Your eyes say something else you like her more than a friend. Yet do to your position your afraid of being called something that isn't true from other units." Lelouch said as he gave him all the papers already done.

"Listen just go for it she might say yes. Plus it might lift some weight off of you." He said as C.C followed him.

"That guy sure knows how to push someone's button," Akito said out loud.

"Well that's normal for him now I guess. He use to be a lot different before. Guess he still has some maturing to do. Well if you excuse me I have to prepare a surprise for (F/n)."

"Good luck with her she's a hard person to get. I read from her reports in school she get to fight with guys who didn't take no for an answer. They all ended up in the hospital for it." Akito said as he got my work that was done now.

"I guess she hasn't changed much either," I said as I smile.

"Hey, Akito where on base is there a good spot to eat dinner outside."

"Let's me think..."

(F/n) POV

"Okay you guys were right I never felt so refreshed." You said while walking in the town. Ayano saw some outfits and began to look.

"Guys we have to check it out," Ayano said. She grabbed your arm and dragged you in without any word.

"Ayano I don't want to shop." You said but she didn't seem care and as she began to look at the dresses.

"Come on (F/n) maybe you can find some clothes. I've noticed you repeat a lot of your clothes." Leila said as she went through a lot of the dresses.

"Well, I'm fine with what I have. It's just a few outfits. Plus since I focus on my work I never even cared about what I wear."

"Well too bad we're going to get a few outfits for you to wear. Who knows maybe Suzaku is going to ask you out any day." Kallen said as she looked at the dresses.

"Yeah but he's going back soon so it won't matter."

"Right you don't know right?"

"Know what?"

"Nunnally is sending the black Knights here to help beat the Britannia rebels.  And he's staying here and so am I to help out." Kallen told you as you took a few minutes to think.

"WHAT!?"

Leila POV

Looking (F/n) reaction she didn't seem to know about it. Then again she's been keeping an eye on those two to finish school in less than a month.

"This can't be happening if they see me they'll call me a traitor for leaving Japan. Plus I knew Zero's true identity from the start what's worse if he sees me I will die." She said while walking back and forth.

"I can assure you Gino told them that you had no memory of the Black Knights. He also told them you became a doctor as well to help people and started working here. Todoh was proud to hear that from him as he and miss Nagisa. Turns out they'll be getting married soon." Kallen explain as (F/n) looked at her shocked at the news.

"When did this happen?"

"Oh man, I have to get you up to date since you left. Also, Milly is going to get married as well."

"Oh man, my head is hurting so much now." (F/n) said as she lean on the wall.

'Poor (F/n) being gone for so long and focusing on her work. Must be hard to catch up with her friends.'

"Hey, I got an idea why not invite them once this is all over," Leila suggested.

"It's impossible for one they probably don't have time to travel. And two unlike me and Kallen they do not know about me being part of a rebellion. It's better to keep our distances far from others." She said as she stop looking at the dresses.

"You might be right but still that doesn't mean you have to run away. You're still part of the black knights no matter where you go. They even have a new Knightmare for you just in case you want to fight with us like old times." Kallen said.

"Kallen that's enough I can never forgive myself for the mistakes I've made." She said as she looked down.

"It's alright you make mistakes (F/n). After all, you're just human." Ayano said as she smiled.

"She's right plus they'll be here in a few days. I don't think none of them hate you for anything." Kallen said.

"I hope or it's lights out for me." (F/n) said as she sigh.

'She worries too much for a girl at her age.'
