" Leave my legs."

She cried in pain but he didn't let it go.

" How did it happen?"

She glared at him and he looked at her in realisation.

" Don't tell me you fell on the stairs."

She continued glaring at him with teary eyes.

" Waise toh tumhe pure time argue karna rehta hai. Lekin jab stairs use karne ko bola toh wo pura karogi tum? Band thodi naa kiya tha lift. I was just teasing you. You stupid girl."

He said and she looked away. He was right. She could have used the lift. He couldn't even have stopped her.

Shubman examined her leg and call the attendee there.

" Get me the first aid box and the medicine box now."

The man sensed the urgency and ran to work. He came back with both the items in less then 5 minutes.

Shubman take the pain relief ointment and applied on the swollen areas. He started massaging and she shrieked.

" Nhi please, it hurt. Shubman please leave it."

She cried clutching the couch tightly.
She tried moving her leg but he held firmly. She clutch his arms and dug her nails in pain.

He let her and continued massaging.

" I know it hurts but it's important. Dard reh jayega warna."

He look genuinely worried.

" I am going to break another vase of yours."

She sniffed and glared at him and he looked at her confused. Why was she after his vase?

"Why?"

" You broke my leg. It's fair."

" First thing, I didn't broke your and and second that you already broke my vase."

" Toh? Mera pair tumhare do vases ke barabar hai naa."

He shook his head at this crazy girl. Why was he even arguing with her.

He took the bandage and wrapped it around her swollen ankle to reduce the swelling.

" Please aaram se."

She cried. The pain was making her dizzy. She rested her head back and he looked at her worried.

After securing the bandage he took a pain relief tablet and handed it to her.

He made her lay on the couch and let her rest. She didn't know when she fell asleep.

When she woke up it was already evening. She sat up in haste and the pain shot through her leg.

Shubman came in the cabin and saw her awake.

"You're awake!! Kuch khana hai?"

She shook her head and said she has her leftover lunch and she would eat that.

Having the food she packed her things.

" Come I'll drop you."

He said and picked her up in bridal style making her shriek in surprise. She looked at him with wide eyes and he said.

" Tumhari car kal Ghar bhijwa dunga."

" Why are you being so caring? You hate me."

She asked him and he looked at her saying.

" I don't hate you. I just joke around Yn. I do care about you as a human. And moreover you're under my mentorship, under my care."

He put her down as they entered the lift. He again picked her up as they stepped out.

She knew that people were looking at them but she didn't care. Her leg was hurting like crazy and she just wanted some rest.

He drove to her home and parked the car.

Again picking her up he walked inside.

Her mother opened the door and got shocked after seeing them like this.

Shubman made her sit on the sofa in the living room and her father asked.

" Second day and you have started causing trouble aise kaam karo gi tum, Yn?"

Yn looked down not letting him see her tears. Shubman frowned. Why was her father taking to her like that instead of asking how was she?

"She is not trouble sir. It was an accident. Kissi ke bhi sath ho sakta hai. It has nothing to do with being good in work. And moreover she is very good in her work."

Shubman said not liking the way her father taunting her. And definitely not liking the way she bowed her head.

Yn looked at him shocked. No one has ever taken her side. Especially infront of her father. Not even her mother also.

He said and took his leave. Yn kept looking at his retreating back until he wasn't visible.

Shubman on the other hand couldn't understand why was he enranged when her father taunted her like that she looked down.

The next week Yn didn't come to the office and small, a small piece of him misses her.

Just two days and he felt addicted to her.

Yn was thankful that it wasn't a fracture or bone break. It was just a muscle tear which got much better through iching and warm water soak.

It was Friday and her mother suggested to go back on her work from Monday but Yn wanted to go.

She was much better know and moreover she didn't wanted to celebrate her birthday at home.

Her parents didn't care. She was doubtful whether they remember or not.

She was really excited when she reached her office. Obviously no body knew it was her birthday but she was happy at she is not at her home.

It is between to be unknown strangers than known strangers.

She entered the cabin and grinned widely.

"Hii"

He looked at her and raised his eyebrows.

"Aren't you little too excited?"

He missed her too but obviously he wasn't going to except it. She scowled and asked.

" Can you not greet people back like a normal humans."

"What's the fun in that?"

He replied with a smirk and she took her seat on the couch.

He gave her a file to make notes on and she started her work with utmost concentration.

It was 12pm when the cabin door opened and someone walked in.
