Nobody's Pov

As everyone settled down the next episode began to play.

The screen turns on and it's the next day. The pans inside the house and we head into the dining room.

We see Hope sitting at the table eating pancakes and fruit with a grin plastered on her face.

Hayley walks in and makes her way towards her daughter.

"Oh, I see Danny made his famous banana-rama chocolate chip pancakes" Hayley smiled.

"I sure did" Daniel smiled as he walked into the kitchen.

"Man, I miss dad's banana-rama chocolate chip pancakes" Sam sighed.

"Me too" Anthony nodded.

Their dad made the best banana-rama chocolate chip pancakes and he always made it for them.

Thinking about those pancakes made their mouths water and they just wanted to eat them again.

It's been a while, especially after their dad disappeared.

"Hey, I make you guys dad's famous banana-ram chocolate chip pancakes" Amanda reminded her kids.

Anthony sighed and opened his mouth to say something but his sister beat him to it.

"You don't make them the way dad makes them and that's because you're not him" Sam scowled.

Her mom was trying to make it seem like dad has never left but Sam doesn't like it.

Not when she still blames her mom for making her and her brother leave their dad when they didn't want to.

Not when she still blames her mom for being the reason their dad's disappearance.

Not when her mom isn't her dad and needs to stop trying to be him.

Not when all she, and Anthony, wants is her dad.

Amanda frowned, trying to hide her sadness, and just looked away.

Chozen gave Sam a look but she rolled her eyes and looked back at the screen.

Chozen sighed before placing a hand on Amanda's shoulder to give her some comfort.

"Uncle Daniel always makes the best pancakes" Hope commented.

"Why thank you, sweetie" Daniel smiled.

He leaned down to kiss Hope on the head causing her to giggle before returning to eat.

Hayley smiled at her daughter before looking at Daniel who looked at her.

"Where are they?" Daniel asked, referring to the Mikaelson's.

"Outside. They're trying to figure out what they want to do" Hayley told him.

Daniel let out a hum and nodded.

It wasn't long before Hope finished her breakfast and the two adults decided to take her outside to meet the rest of her family.

They seemed to have the wrong timing because once they opened the door they heard Klaus yelling.

And he sounded angry.

Everyone frowned, wondering why Klaus sounded so angry.

They just hoped that he calmed his anger before meeting his daughter so he doesn't ruin anything.

Hayley and Daniel loudly cleared their throats causing all heads to snap in their direction.

"Everybody, look who's awake" Hayley smiled.

Hayley and Daniel step outside and Hope slowly walks outside herself.

One by one the Mikaelson siblings stand together at seeing Hope.

Klaus's eyes widened at seeing his daughter and a soft look appears on his face.

"Well, this should be interesting" Mike muttered.

He had to admit that despite the annoyance he felt being brought here he was entertained.

Especially after finding out that supernatural beings exist.

Now seeing that Hope is going to meet her family, the Mikaelson family, especially her father after five years is going to be interesting.

Especially when he wants to see how the little girl is going to react.

Klaus walked closer to Hope as his daughter shyly glances at everyone.

"Hello" Hope softly greeted everyone.

The others either nodded at her or smiled at her.

"Hello" Klaus softly greeted her.

Hope frowned as she looked at Klaus before looking at Hayley.

"Mom, can I go play in the garden?" Hope asked.

"Yeah, sure" Hayley nodded, gently caressing her daughters head.

Hope nods back and goes to leave but stops and looks at Daniel.

"Uncle Daniel, can you come with me?" Hope asked.

"Sure, sweetie" Daniel smiled.

Hope smiled before holding his hand and the two of them walked off the porch to head to the garden.

Klaus watched them go with a look of sadness in his eyes.

Silence filled the theater room.

Only thing you could hear were the small coughs from a few people.

"Well, that went well" Johnny sarcastically muttered.

He, and everyone else, could feel the awkwardness between Hope and her family.

Sam, on the other hand, had a small frown on her face and shifted in her seat a little.

She couldn't help but feel a little jealous at seeing the interactions between her dad and that little girl.

The scene changes to the garden and the camera pans over to a table where we see Hope and Daniel sitting while painting.

Daniel glanced at Hope and smiled as he saw her so engrossed in her painting.

He remembered when Sam was little she liked to paint and she would ask him to join her and he would easily agree.

"Really?" Miguel asked, looking at Sam.

"Yeah. I loved to paint when I was little and I always asked my dad to join me since most of the time mom was busy" Sam smiled.

Her dad would always make time to hang out with her, then and now.

Her dad would always be ready to drop everything for her, and Anthony, and always be there for them.

It's one of the reasons her and her brother loved him so much.

And it just made her and her brother miss him even more.

Daniel felt someone stand next to him and he turned to see it was Klaus.

Klaus spared him a glance before looking at Hope and watched at her as she painted.

"That's lovely" Klaus commented.

Hope stopped painting and looked at her dad.

Silence filled the air between them as Hope glanced at her painting before looking back at her dad.

"Mom said you like to paint, too" Hope said.

"I do. Very much" Klaus nodded.

"Pretty sure he uses the blood of the people he kills to use as red paint" Demetri muttered.

Hawk smacked him upside the head causing Demetri to wince before glaring at him.

Hawk glared back at him and just gestured for his best friend to be quiet and watch.

Hope lets out a hum before she tears a piece of paper from her book and sets it down on the table for her dad.

Klaus, realizing what his daughter wants, cleared his throat before taking a seat next to Daniel.

"Welcome to our painting club" Daniel smiled.

"Painting club?" Klaus asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's the name Hope and I came up with. Right, sweetie?" Daniel asked.

"Yep" Hope nodded, a small grin appearing on her face.

Daniel laughed causing Hope to laugh while Klaus glanced between the two of them with a faint smile.

Daniel and Hope resumed painting while Klaus started on his.

Everyone watched in silence with smiles appearing on the faces of some people.

They were glad that Hope was slowly warming up to her dad and it seemed to lighten up Klaus's mood.

They hoped that their relationship would progress from there and become better and stronger.

Carmen, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow at seeing the interaction between Daniel, Hope and Klaus.

She doesn't know why but, in her opinion, she would see this as a family of three with the two men being parents of the little girl.

It's almost as if Daniel and Klaus were something, more than friendship, even when they don't know each other.

A frown appeared on her face before she shook her head to try and get those thoughts off her mind.

She shouldn't be thinking about any of that. 

Not when Daniel is married to Amanda and they have their two kids.

The scene changes to the woods and the camera pans to Daniel, Hope and Klaus.

Daniel was going to leave so that the father and daughter duo could be alone and catch up but Hope insisted that he stayed.

And, surprisingly, Klaus too insisted for him to stay.

So, here he was walking with them as they talked.

"I painted on animal skins, mostly. Bark, cave walls..." Klaus trailed off.

"You lived in a cave?" Hope asked, her eyebrows furrowed together.

"I lived in a hovel, all of us crowded into two rooms. It was actually nicer than it sounds. Though your Uncle Kol snored. Loudly, I might add" Klaus said.

Daniel snorted while Hope giggled.

"Pretty sure you could relate, Chozen" Amanda commented.

"What do you mean, Amanda-san?" Chozen asked, confused.

"Lets just say that even though you sleep in the guest room you snore incredibly loud" Amanda told him.

It didn't help that the guest room was next to her bedroom.

And Chozen keeps his door open.

Meaning that she could hear him when he snores.

Chozen blushed in embarrassment and muttered out an apology causing Amanda to laugh slightly.

"I bet it was cool, always having other kids to play with" Hope smiled.

The three of them stopped when they reached a log and Hope grabbed her fathers hand in order to get on top of the log.

Klaus's eyes widened at that but a smile appeared on his face as he stepped over the log before helping his daughter off of it.

Daniel smiled at that before stepping over the log and continued walking with the other two.

"It was cool, actually. But I still felt alone. Different from my siblings. For one thing, I loved art. I used to make my own paints from flowers and berries" Klaus said

The three of them stopped as they reached orange flowers and stared at all of them.

"These orange ones are the most vibrant" Klaus said.

"I like orange" Hope told her dad.

"What about you, love?" Klaus asked, turning to Daniel.

Daniel blushed at the nickname, wondering why Klaus was calling him love instead of his name.

Amanda frowned while narrowing her eyes at the screen.

Why the hell was Klaus calling her husband, of all people, love?

"Oh, well I've always loved the color red" Daniel said.

Klaus hummed and opened his mouth to say something when Hope beat him to it.

"Oh, there's a butterfly. I think it's stuck" Hope said.

She crouched down to look at the butterfly better with Klaus and Daniel doing the same.

"Yeah, it has a broken wing" Klaus nodded.

"Poor thing" Daniel frowned.

Hope takes off her bracelet and hands it to Klaus who looked at her with a raised eyebrow while Daniel had a look of realization.

"Shh. Don't tell my mom" Hope said, placing a finger over her mouth.

"Hope" Daniel sighed.

"Please" Hope begged, giving him her best puppy dog eyes.

"You cheeky girl, you know I can never say no to those eyes" Daniel chuckled.

"I know" Hope giggled.

Everyone either smiled or chuckled at the interaction between Daniel and Hope.

They had to admit that they liked the relationship that Daniel has formed with the little girl.

It's clear that he has grown fond of her and she has grown fond of him.

Sam, on the other hand, shifted in her seat and could feel her jealousy rising.

Robby turned to her with a raised eyebrow causing Sam to look at him once she noticed his gaze on her.

"Am I wrong to be jealous of a seven year old?" Sam asked.

Robby chuckled, a little amused, before shaking his head.

"It's understandable. I mean, Mr. Larusso is your dad and it's clear you miss him after he disappeared. We all do" Robby said.

He missed Mr. Larusso, someone he looked up to, ever since he disappeared and felt nothing but guilt and fear.

He was glad that, despite the situation he's in, he's safe.

"I just hate seeing him interact with Hope because it reminds me of our interactions when I was little. It just makes me miss him more" Sam explained.

Don't get her wrong, she's happy to know that her dad is safe.

But she would rather him be with her and Anthony in person.

That's all she wants.

That's all she's ever wanted since the day he disappeared.

Hope closes her eyes and puts both her hands out. She uses magic to fix the butterfly's wing and the butterfly shortly flies away.

Klaus watched with amazement while Daniel looked happy.

Hope looked at her dad and uncle with a smile on her face and the two returned the gesture.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock and amazement.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing and they couldn't look away.

Demetri snapped out of it and a look of confusion appeared on his face.

"Wait, hold on, how can she do magic if her parents aren't witches?" Demetri asked.

Last he checked, her parents were hybrids.

They were strong, that much he can tell, but neither of them possess magic.

This gained everyone's attention as they realized that Demetri made a good point.

Instantly, all eyes were on Gertrude.

"Hope was born a tribrid. A tribrid is a vampire, werewolf and a witch. She inherited her magic from her father because before he was turned he, along with his siblings, were witches. At the moment Hope is a witch, she's not a vampire or a werewolf because she hasn't activated either of those genes" Gertrude explained.

Everyone's eyes widened more at the information and their jaws dropped.

They couldn't believe that a little girl who's only seven years old is that powerful.

She may only be a witch at the moment but it's clear that she's powerful.

And they honestly couldn't tell if they were amazed, worried or jealous.

Silver, on the other hand, felt intrigued and nothing but pure fascination coursed through him.

The power that little girl held, no matter if the other two weren't activated yet, was incredible.

That girl has a gift and her gift should be put to good use.

The power she has, and whatever else she were to have if she ever activated her other two genes, can do great things.

Especially for him.

More importantly, for Cobra Kai.

The scene changes and we see that Klaus, Hope and Daniel are still walking and we see Hope is holding some flowers.

"Mom and uncle Daniel say when I get bigger, Freya will teach me real spells" Hope said.

"That's right" Daniel nodded.

When Hayley told him everything during the time they got to know each other she told him that Freya is the one that knows magic the most.

Which is why when Hope gets older Freya is going to teach her everything she needs to know.

Daniel is happy with that because he knows that it'll help.

"Is that really necessary?" Mike asked, furrowing his eyebrows together.

"Yeah, the girl seems to be doing fine on her own" Johnny added.

If the girl was able to do what she did with that butterfly moments ago she's able to do real spells on her own.

It doesn't seem necessary for her aunt to help her.

"It's for the best for her aunt to teach her. After all, Hope is still little and she could lose control" Amanda commented.

While she had to admit that Hope was doing fine on her own some guidance wouldn't be bad.

To avoid her losing control and to avoid hurting someone or, potentially, killing someone.

And given who her parents are it's quite likely it will end like that if she isn't taught properly.

"I think you're doing rather well all by yourself" Klaus commented.

"I can't always control it so well. It scares me sometimes" Hope frowned.

This made Klaus stop walking which made Hope and Daniel stop too.

Klaus turned around and crouched down in front of his daughter, placing his hands on her shoulders, so he could be eye level with her.

"You, love, are the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson. You're going to be the greatest witch the world has ever seen. And nothing will scare you" Klaus told her.

This made Daniel's eyes soften as he too crouched down next to Klaus.

"You're father is right. You were made for great things and you're going to be the greatest witch ever. Nobody nor nothing will ever scare you" Daniel added.

Klaus looked at him with soft eyes as his lips twitched upward slightly.

Daniel looked at him with a smile while his cheeks turned a little red.

Everyone's eyes softened and smiles appeared on a few people's faces.

The words from Klaus and Daniel were very sweet and definitely what Hope needs to hear.

Especially when it's true.

Hope was made for great things and when she's older she's going to become the greatest witch.

As long as she had her parents and the rest of her family she would be just fine.

Carmen, on the other hand, narrowed her eyes at the way Klaus and Daniel looked at each other.

Not to mention the way Daniel's cheeks heated up, almost as if he was blushing.

Is it possible that...

Carmen shook her head to get rid of the thoughts that were running through her head.

She has to remind herself that Daniel, like Hope, is just getting to know Klaus so there's no way they're going to like each other in any sort of way besides friendship.

She also has to remind herself that Daniel and Amanda are married and have two kids.

There's no way Daniel would catch feelings for anyone else.

Let alone Klaus.

Hope glanced between her dad and uncle with a smile before her eyes settled on her dad.

"I know what you are, you know. The strongest in the world. Strong enough to keep all of the bad things away" Hope said.

"What bad things?" Klaus asked.

"Just bad guys. Monsters. People who are mean, selfish, and angry" Hope said.

"Nothing is going to harm my little girl. Nothing will even get close. You're all that matters to me" Klaus told her.

Johnny glanced between Miguel and Robby before wrapping his arms around them.

"You two are all that matters to me. Along with your unborn brother or sister" Johnny smiled.

Miguel and Robby smiled at each other before smiling at Johnny.

They hugged him which made Johnny laugh before hugging his boys close to him.

Carmen watched them with a soft smile on her face, her hand resting on her stomach, with Rosa hugging her daughter close to her.

Hope smiled at her dad and wrapped her arms around him as she embraced him in a hug.

Klaus's eyes widened in shock and his arms hover above his daughter for a few seconds before he wraps them around her.

A smile appears on his face as he closed his eyes and holds his daughter close to him.

Hope looked at her uncle and held her hand out for him to take and he gladly accepts.

Hope pulled him to join the hug which made Daniel laugh as he embraced his niece and her father.

Sam and Anthony had sad smiles plastered on their faces as they stared at the screen.

They wish that their dad was with them so they can hug him and tell him how much they missed him.

They couldn't stop the sadness and jealousy from coursing through them at their dad hugging another kid that wasn't his.

That could be them in the warm and loving embrace of their dad.

But it wasn't.

And it was all because of their mother.

If she hadn't made them leave with her none of this would've happened.

Their dad would still be with them rather than be with another family.

The three of them pulled away from the hug with Klaus and Daniel looking at Hope with concern.

"You're trembling, sweetie" Daniel pointed out.

"Are you cold?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah. I've been cold a while now" Hope nodded.

"Well, let's get you inside then, eh" Daniel suggested.

"You can show me your drawings" Klaus added with a smile.

Hope smiled at that and allowed her dad to pick her up so he can carry her to the house.

Klaus, without looking, rested his hand on Daniel's back causing him to glance at him before looking away as his cheeks turned red.

Amanda raised an eyebrow at the scene, mainly at seeing her husbands cheeks turn red, before shaking her head.

It was probably nothing and let it go.

The scene changes and we see it's dark before the camera pans inside the safe house.

We head into the kitchen where we see Daniel standing by the kitchen counter while holding a bag of chips.

Footsteps are heard and Daniel looked up to see Hayley walking in.

But what caught his attention is her messy hair and the shirt she's wearing that's clearly too long for her.

A few wolf whistles were heard along with some laughter.

"Looks like the hybrid lady got it on with her vampire boyfriend" Hawk smirked.

"Eli, shut up" Demetri grumbled, his cheeks turning a little red with embarrassment.

Miguel simply laughed in amusement while shaking his head at his best friends.

Johnny looked at Carmen with a smirk as he pulled her close to his side.

He can already picture his woman wearing one of his shirts after a night of sex while making breakfast or just walking around the kitchen.

Oh, they were definitely going to have some fun when they get out of here.

Amanda sighed, remembering the times when she would wear Daniel's shirts after an incredible night of sex.

It made her miss him even more.

She wishes he was here so she could make it up to him.

If you know what she means.

"Oh, I see someone had a hot night with her boyfriend" Daniel smirked.

Hayley looked at her best friend, a blush appearing, and made her way towards him.

"Shut up. We deserved to have a night for ourselves after five years" Hayley reminded him.

"I know. I get it. I'm just glad the rooms are soundproof cause I sure as hell don't want to hear you and Elijah getting it on" Daniel said.

"Danny, shut up" Hayley laughed.

Daniel laughed before offering her some chips which she gladly accepted.

The two of them ate chips as they talked and laughed.

When suddenly...

"Hayley! Daniel!" Klaus yelled.

Hayley and Daniel stop what their eating and looked at each other with worry in their eyes.

Especially when Klaus himself sounded worried.

Everyone raised an eyebrow at hearing the tone in Klaus's voice when he yelled out for Hayley and Daniel.

They wondered what was wrong.

Hayley runs out of the kitchen with Daniel following her after he sets the bag of chips down.

They run into the living room where they see Klaus crouched in front of Hope.

They run over to Hope and Hayley crouched in front of her daughter while cupping the sides of her face.

"Mom, I'm so cold" Hope told her.

Hayley frowned, concern in her eyes, and pulled her daughter into a hug.

Daniel too frowned, concern in his eyes, and looked at Klaus to see him looking at his daughter with the same concern.

Everyone sat up straighter in their seats at seeing the state Hope was in.

They could tell the girl looked woozy, tired and her skin looked a little pale.

They knew that she was cold earlier since Daniel had pointed out she was trembling but they didn't think much of it.

But now, given her state, they were worried it was something to worry about.

"Is she ok?" Miguel asked, turning to his mother.

She was a nurse, she worked at the hospital, so she must know about these things.

"I don't know, honey. I want to say it could just be a cold but I doubt it" Carmen frowned.

She may be a nurse but she wasn't a nurse when it came to supernatural beings being sick.

She just hoped that it wasn't serious and that the little girl would be alright.

Hayley, with Daniel's help, bring Hope to the couch and lay her down with Hayley sitting on the couch holding her daughter in her arms.

Daniel is sitting across from them while holding Hope's hand.

Klaus, Elijah and Freya have surrounded them while looking at Hope with concern.

"She's never been sick, ever" Hayley told the others.

"This is a magical affliction. It feels I don't know, it's hard to explain. Almost cold" Freya said.

"But it's nothing serious, right?" Daniel asked.

Freya pursed her lips and remained silent which worried Daniel.

This made everyone frown as worry began to build up inside of them.

All of a sudden Hayley takes out a piece of paper from her pocket, that seemingly came out of nowhere, making everyone look at her.

She unfolded the paper and silently read it, her eyes widening.

"It's from Vincent Griffith. He knows what's wrong with Hope, he can cure her" Hayley told the others.

This made Daniel's eyes widen with relief but then realization hit him.

"But we have to go back to New Orleans" Daniel concluded.

Everyone's eyes widened at that and felt their bodies tense up.

"Well shit" Johnny muttered.

"Oh god" Amanda gasped, her mouth coming up to cover her hand.

Her husband just escaped New Orleans, alive for that matter, and now he had to go back with his new group.

That's not something she wants him to do.

And she hopes that he makes the smart decision to stay at the safe house.

She really doesn't care if the Mikaelson's or Hayley decide to go back.

She just wants Daniel to stay where it's safe to avoid any danger that could get him hurt or killed.

The scene changes and we see Klaus and Elijah discussing about who should leave and who should stay.

"You don't need to come" Klaus told his brother.

"You spent half a decade as Marcel's prisoner, now let me take Hope" Elijah said.

"Hayley and Daniel are distraught, stay and comfort them" Klaus said.

"If this is indeed a trap, if Marcel is intent on killing us your daughter needs a father" Elijah reminded his brother.

Footsteps are heard and the brothers turn around to see Hayley and Daniel who are dressed with a bag swung over Daniel's shoulders.

Everyone's eyes widened with shock and realization.

The Mikaelson's and Hayley were really going to go back to New Orleans.

Not only that but Daniel was joining them.

"Larusso" Johnny sighed, exasperated.

"Oh good lord" Amanda groaned, burying her face into her hands.

Why didn't Daniel play safe and just stay at the safe house where he'll be safe and away from danger?

Why is he going back to New Orleans with that family?

Why is he willing to put his life at danger for people he doesn't know?

Why is he willing to help a little girl that isn't his child let alone niece by blood?

So many questions running through her head that needed answers but she knew she wasn't going to get them.

"We're all going. Hope needs her and she needs her uncle. Hayley and I need both of you" Daniel said.

Hayley nodded at her best friends words as she wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

"We're family, we stick together" Hayley added.

Daniel nodded as he leaned into Hayley's side.

Elijah nodded at the two of them and looked at Klaus who stared at the best friend duo.

Finally, Klaus let out a sigh and nodded his head as a faint smile appeared on his face.

As the screen turned black, indicating that the episode was over, everyone was worried and tense.

They wondered what was going to happen now that Daniel and his group were going back to New Orleans.

Sam and Anthony were worried about their dad's safety but they had to remind themselves that he can take care of himself.

If he can take on vampires then he can definitely handle anything that comes his way.

They just hope that he won't have to deal with anything beyond vampires.
