Untitled Part 13
I do not own Naruto.
Hinata watched Kaira and Tobirama with a small smile on her lips. In Kaira's grasp was a small bundle with brown hair poking out, their tiny little son was born a week early, but he was healthy. Kaira smiled brilliantly as she offered the small child to Hinata. They had named him Aizen, which Hinata loved. It was after the god of love, which was the embodiment of what brought them together. He was absolutely the embodiment of their love. She took the small child from his mother's outstretched arms and she couldn't help the smile that crossed her lips.
He was beautiful. His little blue eyes stared up at her expectantly, as if she had something for him. She brushed her fingers over his cheeks and smiled as Itsuki made his way over to her and tugged on her pants leg. She leaned down and showed the small child to him. Itsuki looked at his little cousin in awe and grinned up at Hinata. "Baby." He said and she nodded as she ruffled his mop of hair. Hashirama made his way over to them and smiled as he looked form his son to his nephew.
She was so focused on baby Aizen that she had almost missed a small interaction between the brothers. They met gazes and not a word was said in the time that they had locked eyes. Suddenly, a soft smile crossed over Tobirama's lips and he nodded to Hashirama, who nodded back with a huge smile crossing his features. She wasn't sure what that was about, but she was thrilled the brothers were getting along right now and not bickering as normal.
Hashirama wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled her neck as she held the small infant. His fingers brushing over her belly ever so gently. Her heart sank as he did this, she wished she could tell him if they were expecting or not, but it was far too early to be able to detect. She knew he was excited of the idea and seeing her holding his nephew made him all the more excited. She pulled out of his grasp and handed Aizen to him. He happily took the infant and nuzzled his nose with him.
She loved watching Hashirama interact with babies, it sent her further and further into that abyss called baby fever. She decided they had taken enough of the couple's time with their child so she gingerly took Aizen from Hashirama and offered him back to his parents. They took him and offered their subtle goodbyes to them as they left. She laced her fingers with Hashirama's and took Itsuki's hand within her other one as well. She loved her little family dearly and she would never trade them for the world.
They dropped Itsuki off with Madara and Mito, who smiled and waved at them as they left. Seemed those two were officially together again. She wondered how long that one would last, but she still hoped for the best for them. Those two had been like fire and ice in their relationship but they seemed happy that way. She briefly wondered what would happen when those two ended up having children together. A soft giggle escaped her as she thought over how panicked Madara had been while they were rushed to get Kaira to the hospital.
She wondered if he would be that panicked when it finally came to be that the two of them would get pregnant. She could picture Madara and Mito having children together and settling down which was what Hashirama seemed to be hoping for as well. She looked over to him and saw that he still had his hand on her side and was stroking the side of her stomach absent mindedly. She knew he was hoping for a different outcome this time, but she wasn't sure it would turn out how they wanted it to.
The thought honestly broke her heart and she worried that perhaps something was wrong with her. She knew there was nothing wrong with her, but the feeling that lingered every time they had negative results when conceiving were frustrating. Her chakra pulsed and she looked down to her stomach, seeing no change in her chakra around her uterus she sighed once more. She wanted a family with him and her own children. Not that Itsuki wasn't considered her child, because she thought of him as hers. But... more so the fact she wanted more children.
"What is stressing you?" he asked and she looked up at him shamefully. She knew he was optimistic about this and she didn't want to be a downer, but she couldn't help it. that was how she had always been, very questioning of herself and everything having to do with her. she didn't want to have to explain to him that she were feeling some kind of way about it because he might take it the wrong way. She blinked as he gripped her hand softly and smiled at her so brilliantly. "Don't stress about us having children, my love... something tells me... that this time will be different." He said this with a wink and she felt her face flush as her hands crawled over her belly.
Could he sense it already? She had no reason to feel as if he weren't telling the truth, seeing as he was very powerful but he wasn't a sensor the last time she checked... Tobirama was...
Her eyes went wide as she looked back up to his face where he held the most magnificent smile. He had asked Tobirama something while they were visiting them in the hospital, it could be that the white haired man had sensed her chakra changes early on. Her lips trembled and her eyes began to water as she gripped the cloth of her shirt softly. She wasn't sad, she was quite the opposite actually. She was beyond thrilled. Hashirama watched her carefully and reached for her once more, but she gripped him in a tight hug and he chuckled lightly as he buried his face in her hair.
"Now don't go telling everyone yet, but we can go ahead and start gathering things for them... everyone will just think we are buying things for Kaira, Aizen, and Tobirama." He said and she nodded as she hugged him even tighter. She had stressed so much about this for months so for them to get confirmation from Tobirama of all people it was a relief. She made her way to their home and she lay down on the bed. After the excitement of the day, she needed to rest some. Especially since she was getting married in two weeks.
:-:-:
She giggled softly as she ran her hands over her enlarged stomach, only to feel the small kicks from the infant within. She winced once more as she stood and another contraction wracked her form. Seemed today was the day. She made her way to the hospital and explained to them what was going on, to which they all began rushing around and preparing a room for her. it wasn't long before Hashirama rushed into the room and began sputtering absolute nonsense. She wondered if this was how he was when Mito had Itsuki.
She couldn't repress her giggles as she watched him scramble around the room in his panic. When he got close to her once more, she placed her hand on his shoulder and patted it gently as she winced once more. This seemed to snap him out of his frenzy and he pulled a chair up to sit beside her and hold her hand. Every contraction that hit was coming closer and closer and she couldn't help but whimper as she attempted to lean forward and relieve her pain.
She had been going through this pain for hours now and she wondered when it would end. She was getting exhausted and she didn't know if she would be able to rest with the contractions hitting her so hard. The medics came in and offered her some relief from the pain and she took it. she wasn't scared of needles in the slightest so this wasn't the issue. It was the fact that she kept contracting right as they were about to give her the epidural.
She sucked in a breath and held as still as she could as they worked on her. She focused on Hashirama and his ever so gentle caress of her hands. He had been so gentle with her ever since they had discovered she was pregnant. She loved this because he spoiled her and was so attentive with every single one of her needs, no matter how silly it seemed. Midnight craving for sushi? He was right there with it, can't sleep because the baby was kicking? He would lay there and talk to their little one to calm her down.
She could see the excitement in his eyes as he listened to the nurses say she was getting closer and closer to time. She knew exactly why she loved this man, and she wouldn't have it any other way. He was perfect in every way, minus his recently formed gambling habit but she could overlook that seeing as he had brought a little extra income into the house. She mulled over this thought as her contractions finally eased and she released a small sigh. The man was a goofball of the highest caliber, but she seemed to be attracted to those types.
He began talking animatedly to her stomach and giving it the slightest little rubs every now and then. All she could do was smile because he was the most precious person she had ever met. She closed her eyes and rested for a while, finally free from the contractions. When she awoke the medics were making their way around the room and she listened as they instructed her to readjust in the bed with her legs spread. Normally a slight blush would be coating her cheeks but there was a certain lack of modesty that came with childbirth.
She demonstrated such a lack of modesty as she flung back the blanket and hiked her legs up into the footholds on the edge of the bed. Hashirama was the one to blush as she did so with ease. The medics had already seen every inch of her body as they helped her gown up so she had no qualms about tossing her lady bits back out into the open, especially since a heavy pressure hit her as she did so. She was ready for her baby to be evicted and swiftly.
Her entire pregnancy had gone by so swiftly, or at least that was what it felt like... especially since the last four weeks felt the longest out of all of them, surprisingly enough. They had gone by uneventful from the front of enemies, thankfully but she could tell that peace wouldn't last forever. That was fine though, because they would be ready for it. Her thoughts were pulled back to reality when the sudden urge to push hit her and she looked towards the medics and nodded. It was time...
Despite the fact it was time, the only thing she could focus on was the man beside her. From the gentle look in his eyes to the gentle touches of his fingers as he caressed the back of her hand. The movement of his lips as he whispered sweet things to her, telling her he knew she could do this and that he loved her more than she could ever know. Everything about him was gentle and loving and that was what she needed in this moment.
It wasn't long before soft cries echoed around the room and Hinata's eyes went wide as a small infant was set upon her partially bare chest. She reached up and placed her fingers on the cheek of the tiny little girl. "Himawari..." she whispered as she took in the little girl's blue-black mop of hair. Hashirama ran his infers over Himawari's head of hair as well and placed a kiss on her little forehead before he moved to kiss Hinata as well.
They were sitting there doting on their first born for what felt like hours before Tobirama and the others made their presence known to the two. Madara was the first to steal and scoop up the tiny infant, despite Tobirama and Kaira's distaste. They had been enjoying parenthood to the fullest and had been planning on a second child, but they first wanted to snuggle with Hashirama and Hinata's baby. Hinata watched as Madara was ever so gentle with Himawari. He held her securely in one arm while he ran gentle fingertips over her hair and cheeks.
Hinata was honestly in awe at how gentle the man could be when he tried to be. She had expected him to not know how to hold an infant, but he was so careful with everything he did with her. like she was the tiniest and daintiest thing on the earth. Little did any of them know, she was going to be a force of nature when she got older. The amusing part of that would be the fact that it had nothing to do with her future training under the Uchiha brothers either. She was going to be a hellion in a class all her own.
:-:-: Sixteen years later :-:-:
Hinata and Hashirama sat off to the side of the trained field with their two youngest children sitting in their laps. Their youngest daughter Harue sat in Hinata's lap while Aki, their second born son sat in Hashirama's lap. Aki looked just like Itsuki and Hashirama, while Harue and Himawari looked just like Hinata, Byuakugan and all. Hashirama and Madara always made the comment that the women in the family needed to carry on the beauty of their mother while the men were to carry on their father's Senju heritage.
Hinata found this idea amusing, seeing as roots just sprung up from the ground where Himawari slammed her foot down at Madara, only a single hand sign was made before her foot hit the ground. She enjoyed watching her daughter train with Madara because he was still so gentle with her and it amused her. It was as if he were scared to hurt the girl, but Himawari showed him time and time again that no matter how many hits she would take she would always get back up like nothing was wrong.
Hashirama could barely keep his seat as he cheered for his eldest daughter. Itsuki was sitting cross legged by his father, seemingly embarrassed at his outburst every time Himawari landed a hit. Hinata giggled behind her hand as she looked around at her family and smiled. Itsuki was 18, Himawari was 16, Aki was 6, while Harue was 4. She had been able to have the family she dreamed of all her life and she couldn't be any prouder.
She watched as Himawari tanked a hit from Madara, only for the girl to snap her head up and send the man flying into a tree with a solid punch. Hinata stifled her laugh as Himawari stalked over to Madara and ripped him from the tree, her eyes flaring wildly with the byakugan and a wicked smirk on her lips. Hashirama deadpanned in a slight fear at his daughter's ferocity, but seemed to forget his ever so gentle wife could be the same way.
It was something about the dainty women in his life that made him forget they could be devil incarnate while mad. The first time Hinata herself had unleashed her wrath upon an enemy, Hashirama had only stood by and watched in fear, as if his soul was trying to escape his body. Hinata had found this amusing, seeing as she had become increasingly more confident over the years and she was proud of herself for that as well. Hinata placed Harue beside her father and stood.
"Madara, I want to spar with you." Hinata said and she caught the chill that ran down Hashirama's spine at this. Himawari looked over to her mother with wide eyes, only to rush over to sit beside her father, who had scooted Aki to the side, knowing what would be coming if Madara agreed. Hinata could now fight both Hashirama and Madara at the same time and hold her own. Madara dusted himself off and shook his head. "Not a chance." He grumbled and she frowned at him.
That same chill ran down Madara's spine as it had Hashirama's and she repressed an amused look. Seemed neither of them wanted to fight her today. "Come on Madara, you know you love sparring with me." She mused and he deadpanned at her. "No way in hell!" he snapped and she let out a small laugh as he continued to rant on how the last time they had fought she had left him incapacitated for a week with her new ability and that he didn't want that to happen again.
Well she couldn't blame him, she had developed that ability especially to counter him, amusingly enough.
:-:-: Four Years later :-:-:
It had been years. Years of them being together and fighting all the battles that came their way as one of the strongest power couples to ever exist. Hashirama Senju, Hinata Senju... they were a powerhouse compares to most other clan leaders. And they still were to this day. Which is why when one of the other power couples calls for aide, they came running. Hinata knew what day it was, and she was going to ensure this was not going to be that day, not the way it was anyways.
Their hokage had been out on a mission with Hiruzen and the others and things had been going well, until Kuma and Kaira showed their faces. Hinata looked at the frantic woman and her elderly dog and her heart ached for them. She hadn't realized that today was that day until they showed up. Hinata stripped off her traditional robes, revealing her fighting attire beneath. She began pulling her armor on that Butsuma had given her all those years ago and Hashirama began doing the same.
"I'm going with you." Kaira said and Hinata only offered the woman a nod. She was not going to deny her this. Her fingers slipped over the hilt of the sword that Tobirama had given her all those years ago and she nodded to her husband, who had the massive blade tossed over his shoulder haphazardly. The door opened once more and they looked over to see Madara and Izuna standing there in full battle gear as well. Hinata offered them a stern look as she made her way past them. They followed her and Hashirama out of the room.
Hashirama looked back to Itsuki who was watching his father with a frown. "Itsuki, watch after Himawari while we are gone." Hashirama said and Itsuki nodded as he held his daughter, Tsunade, closer to him. While Himawari's lips trembled as she watched both of her parents leave once more. "Go save Uncle Tobi!" she called out and Hinata turned towards her eldest daughter and smiled brilliantly. "That stubborn old coot isn't going anywhere." Hashirama chuckled as they all took off into the forest.
About an hour into their run, they were passed by three shinobi. Hinata made eye contact with Hiruzen as he passed and she offered him a nod as they continued on. She looked over to Hashirama and a frown littered his features. She heard the clashing of metal and she lunged forwards, sending a massive empty palm right into the back of the man hovering over Tobirama. A series of footfalls landed around them and he wiped the blood from his lips as he looked around at all of them.
"You do not die today." Hashirama said and grabbed his arm, pulling him to his feet as Hinata set to healing him. "Took you guys long enough..." Tobirama grumbled as Madara and Izuna shoved him lightly. Twin flames ripped through the trees and lit them up, forcing their enemy to either flee or make themselves known. The ones that made themselves known were cut down swiftly by the group, however Hinata kept eyes on the kinkaku squad that was trying to flee.
She flew through hand signs and coated her skin in water as she lunged through the fire and into the trees to chase them down. Tree roots were sprouting from everywhere and were grabbing any and all Hashirama could get to. Hinata burst through the flames and came face to face with a large man with long blonde hair. Kinkaku himself had come into the fray. She rolled out of the way of his fist and hopped back out of the way of his second hit. She rushed at him and he deflected the majority of her hits, but what he was unaware of was the fact that every time she struck him she was sapping his chakra little by little.
She had perfected the gentle fist over the last twenty years and it had become her greatest weapon, seeing as now Hashirama even had to stay away from her hands. She rushed at him once more and began landing hits everywhere she could, despite his attempts to evade her. She landed three hits to his left side, only to spin elegantly to the right to fall away from his hits once more. For a large man, he was fast, the issue was that she was still significantly faster, this was proven as she landed six more strikes before ducking down and evading yet another swipe of the fist.
She glanced over to see that the rest of the group were watching her from the sidelines silently. Not one of them made a move to help her in any way, and that was how she preferred it now. She could handle herself, unlike the time where the Iwa nin had invaded and she had been rag dolled by that woman. The woman who was shy and had been beaten in such a manner was long gone after years of training with Hashirama and Madara.
She flipped a kunai out of her pouch and rushed at him once more, although this time she evaded his swipe of the fist by falling to her knees and sliding right under it, however the damage had been done to him as her wind chakra enhanced blade had sliced off his arm with the sole swipe of her kunai. As his arm hit the ground beside her she rolled to her feet and watched as he clutched the stump with a yell of pain. He hit his knees and roots wrapped all around him. Despite his struggles he couldn't free himself. She ignored the conversation between him and Hashirama and made her way to Madara and Izuna, who were still protecting Tobirama. She crouched before him and placed her hands on his shoulder, siphoning the chakra she had stolen from Kinkaku into him.
She offered him a hand and pulled him to his feet the moment he had taken her hand. She sent him a slightly amused look and he rolled his eyes. "Don't give me that look you punk, acting like you did something." He grumbled and she released a laugh as she released his arm and smiled at him. "You used to doubt her all the time, only took twenty years for you to eat your words." Kaira mused and Hinata gave her an exasperated look as she slumped slightly.
"Don't say it like that..." she whined and Kaira continued laughing as she watched Hinata continue to mope. Hashirama tuned into the conversation, defending his wife's honor against his brother and ignoring the injured man grumbling to himself in the background. "You two are just alike." Tobirama grumbled as Hinata released a laugh, only for Hashirama to laugh with her. she looked over to her husband and smiled brightly, despite the situation, they could still smile. Kinkaku yelled something at Hinata and she turned to look at him.
An amused look lingered in her eyes as he ranted on about how his brother would come and kill them all. He sure spoke highly of someone who would also fall at their hands, that was for sure. "You know, I'm the weakest out of all of them and you fell to me without their assistance. Your brother too will fall, you know." She said and Kinkaku stared at her with hateful eyes, unlike when she was younger, those angry eyes no longer scared her. Not with him by her side. She held out a hand and Madara placed a scroll in her grasp with the Uzumaki swirl on it.
She unfurled the scroll and laid it on the ground in front of Kinkaku. "Now you won't be a problem any longer not for now, and not for the future either." She said as she flew through hand signs and sealed him within the scroll. She looked over to Madara and waved a hand at him to handle the scroll, to which he nodded and lit it on fire. This is what they had been doing to anyone who she had pointed out to be a particular problem for her future. Anyone that their futures couldn't be changed in the slightest that was.
Her thoughts drifted to the trio of small children that Hiruzen had decided to begin teaching. Two of them were orphans and one was her and Hashirama's granddaughter, Tsunade. She had ensured that those three had been selected for him to train and he had been thrilled when it came to teaching those young ones. She and Tobirama had taught him better than before and the curse of hatred Tobirama had started against the Uchiha no longer existed. With Izuna as his best friend, that much would never come to pass.
She turned back to her husband and all she could do was smile as she motioned for them all to move along. She wanted to go home to her children once more. She laced her fingers with his and he only smiled as she leaned into his side while they walked. Never in her life would she have ever thought that they could have been something like this... but she wouldn't change a single thing in this life and hopefully not the next...
:-:-:
Young Hinata looked up to the statue before her and she smiled. The beautiful woman depicted in the statues and paintings looked absolutely lovely and she wondered if she could ever be as beautiful as the woman she was named after. Hinata Hyuuga, the wife of the first hokage. She placed her fingers on the blade that was held within the grasp of the woman and smiled as it glowed beneath her touch. The shrine of the woman was absolutely beautiful and she couldn't help but visit it every time she came through.
She looked over to see Tsunade watching her carefully with a small smile on her lips. "My grandmother saved your great grandfather, you know." She said and Hinata nodded. She had heard the stories. Hinata had used herself as bait to stall Kurama until Hashirama could get there. Her great grandfather had almost fallen victim to Kurama, but she had protected him and sent him away with the first hokage's son to find safety. A purely selfless act demonstrated by the woman that shaped her clan to be as kind as it was to this day...
She glanced over and saw that Naruto and Sakura were waiting on her once more. She grinned at them and took off after them. They took off towards their destination once more, only for her to feel eyes on her back once again, something that had become a common occurrence as of late. She turned and tried to find the source of the feeling, but she couldn't. She opened her mouth to warn them that someone was watching them, but before she could a ball of energy hit her and the last thing she heard was one little sentence that would forever change her life...
"Go back to where you belong, Hinata."
Little did she know it would be changed for the better.
