Roshni

I started wrapping the left over food in anger. How dare he? I didn't even had anything from last night and he is fighting with me. 

"Roshni Have something bacha than you can do this", Mumma said as I shook my head.

"I will eat later mumma", I told her as I continued my work. Mumma was about to say something but Anav ji Came inside.

"Anav tu hi kuch samjha ise kal se kuch nahi khaya hai. Aise toh bimaar pad jaegi ye"(Anav you make her understand now. She didn't had anything from last night. She would get sick if she continued this), She told him. Who cares even If I die?

"I will see to it mumma. You go have some rest", He told her as she nodded and left the kitchen.

I feel so bad making her worry for me.

"So madam didn't had her food last night", He asked tucking my hair strand as I slapped his hand away.

"Who cares even if I die", I told him with anger. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him.

"Don't say that", He warned me.

"Acha farak padta hai aapko(So it does make a difference if I am not in your life)", I asked him looking in his eyes.

"Itni pyaar se khaana banaya. Janab bahar khaakar aaenge. Are pehle bata dete kam se kam itni mehnat toh nahi karni padti(I prepared food for you with so much love but Mister had his food outside. You could have told me before I won't have to work this hard )", I told him.

"Done?", He asked as I looked around thinking about something else and than nodded.

"Yes done", I told him as he nodded.

"Feeling better", He asked as I nodded.

"You made me cry so much", I told him hitting his shoulders.

"Ice Cream treat can pay for it?", He asked as I thought about the offer. I really can't deny it. I licked my lips thinking of the taste of strawberry ice cream.

"Fine", I told him as he nodded before unwrapping the food.

"What are you doing?", I asked him.

"You made it for me right. I am going to have it", He said as I palmed my cheeks looking at him with adoration.

"Stop it. I am not your food", He said as I smiled adoringly.

"I will make it some other time. I prepared this food last night. It won't suit you", I said taking the food from him as he smiled. 

"You are having your food before that", He said as I shook my head.

He took a plate and started filling food in it. I would have it later. He picked me up in his arms as I squealed softly.

He pointed to the plate filled with food. I raised my eyebrows at him before picking it up.

"You can put me down. What if somebody saw us like this? You are shameless you won't care but I do care", I told him looking around.

"What I did to gain the rank of shameless in your life", He asked as I thought for a while. He really didn't do anything.

"I will tell you some other day", I told him.

"You have nothing to tell", He said as I stayed silent. He is right. 

He made me sit on the bed and started feeding me. The good thing is he forgot about the punishment. Truly speaking I over-reacted. I did cry but not whole night. I over-reacted so he will forget about his punishment and that's what happened. I did a happy dance in my brain. I am so intelligent. Because of this brain only my husband is feeding me instead of punishing me. 

Anav ji had been really busy in his new deal lately. He had been shouting at me for small-small things. I tried to keep calm understanding his stress. But it was getting too far. He would keep on shouting at me for every single thing even if I am not at fault. He would be ordering me around like a servant. I didn't really join his office till now and now I am happy I didn't. He would make me work more if I will work with him.

I was serving the food to my husband because he ordered me to do so. I stopped talking to him. And well he didn't really care if I talk to him or not. He would leave in the morning and come back late at night.

"Bhabhis let's go on shopping today", Aadya suddenly told both of us.

"I agree but Adhyansh will take care of Arjun", Roshni Bhabhi said. Adhi bhai shook his head while sighing deeply. He had to take care of Arjun whenever Bhabhi wanted to go out.

"But I thought I will study for the exam", I said as Aadya gave me a puppy face.

"I will drop you all", Anav ji said giving me a blank look which was a warning to do what was asked. I looked down as soon as our eyes met.

"Why do you keep on scaring her", Mumma asked him.

"Get ready fast I have some works to do in the office after dropping you all", Anav ji said still looking at me. He is really scaring me now.

I nodded and went to change as soon as I completed my breakfast. 

When I came downstairs I found Aadya and Shraddha Bhabhi were ready as well. Did I take too long?

We were waiting for Anav ji outside. He was bringing his car from the parking lot.

I was silent all while. I thought he care but I don't think so anymore. He just considers me as a responsibility. As Anav Ji brought the car I was about to sit in the back seat when Aadya jumped in before me.

"Bhabhi you can sit on the passenger seat I need to discuss something with bhabhi", Aadya told me. I was really nervous. He didn't like spending time with me nowadays. He would get irritated very soon with me.

"We are not having the whole day", He said more like shouted. I at last sat beside him.

"Roshni!", Shraddha bhabhi called me as I looked back.

"Ji", I responded.

"Was Saachi always this calm. Or you do something new. My son is making my life a living hell. He don't even let me sleep at night while his father is busy in snoring", She said making a face.

"Bhabhi she was always different from other kids. She was only girl child born in that hospital that day. I was the first to see her and the first thing I noticed were her eyes. As ma do say that she speaks with her eyes. Bhabhi say that she tells her what she needs looking at the thing she want. She never had to cry for anything. And calmness was in her nature as well. She never really cried apart from the time when she had fever or any vaccination", I explained. She was cute when she was born. When the doctor brought her out I was shocked. She looked like an angel. Even the doctor was shocked. She was the cutest baby I have ever seen.

"What should I do with my little devil", She asked.

"Were you like her as well as a child bhabhi", Aadya asked me.

"I was calm or I should say every child in our family is calm. But Saachi is extra calm which sometimes bother us as well", I explained.

"That means your kids will be calm as well. Wow bhai you are so lucky", She said as I became silent. I have not really thought about kids. And with the way Anav Ji is behaving I don't think I would think about this topic.

We reached to the shopping mall and Anav Ji dropped us.

"Take care of yourself okay", Anav Ji said looking at Aadya and Shraddha bhabhi. I knew very well that he was not talking to me so I didn't really respond as well. I have no doubt he don't care about me.

I stopped feeling pity for myself. I have been feeling sad about myself from childhood but now I feel like may be I deserve all this.

"Roshni!!!!", I heard somebody squealing as two girls jumped upon me. Literally pushing me down. Making me groan. I know who these two stupid girls can be.

"What is wrong with you girl? Where did you disappeared? Yash was asking about you", Amira asked me.

"You call me childish. What if I fall down? I could have been very badly injured. What would you have done then? And what the hell that stupid wants from me now. I will break his face this time. You know he proposed me on my face. God knows what stupid things was he saying", I whined.

"Did you agreed to his proposal?", Aarohi asked me. I loved her silky long hair and here I am stuck with these heavy long hair.

"Are you stupid? I told you I am not interested in these things. And that too with that stupid. I told you before as well I would marry the one my family would choose for me", I said pouting at them.

"You are too old fashioned yaar. When will we get to call someone jiju haa? Wait a second is that a chooda you are wearing. You got married without telling us. I will kill you today", Aarohi said as she wrapped her hand around my throat to choke me.

"Why are you killing me? I thought you love me", I told her.

"And stop hanging on my shoulder you are heavy you stupid", I said pushing Amira down from my shoulder.

"Who is the unlucky guy?", They asked me together as I gasped.

"How dare you?", I shouted pouting at them. I felt so happy after so many days.

"Wouldn't you introduce us to your friends Roshni", Shraddha bhabhi asked me as I finally realized where I was. I cleared my throat.

"Amira Aarohi she is my sister-in-law Aadya and she is my bhabhi Shraddha", I introduced him.

"What about him?",  Amira asked pointing at Anav Ji who was looking at me only. I can't ignore my friends just because he is having a foul mood.

"My husband", I said in a small voice.

"Really!! But we thought you are going to stay single whole life", Aarohi asked.

"Hi jiju. Now I can believe that she is a normal girl. Take care of her she kept waiting for you all her life saying her Mr. Perfect would have all rights on her. Weird but we love this girl. Take care of her", Amira said to Anav ji. What are they saying? He would kill me. 

"You are late girl. If you came a bit early then we could have spend time together", They said. They got call from their houses and have to leave soon. My cheeks were still red due to these stupid girls' confession.

"We should start the shopping now", Shraddha bhabhi said as she pulled Aadya with her.

"What about Roshni bhabhi?", I asked her looking back.

"She is coming right", she asked me.

I looked at him for a moment. Why he have to act this rude with my friends? Didn't even said hello. But before that he stopped me and gave my phone to me. Why I always forget this thing?

They did a lot of shopping after that. I was trying to have a trial of this tracking device I was trying to make from a long time. It was in the form of a pendent. I made it for Saachi so no body could take advantage of her innocence.

I did the trial and it was working pretty well. I was not really interested in this shopping. Though Anav Ji never said but he really thought I was a gold digger. But never said it straight on my face. I won't be able to take that as well.

"Are you even buying anything Bhabhi", Aadya asked as I was having the final test to pass this tracker. I shook my head. I didn't like anything here.

Aadya asked if she could take the locket. I thought for a while. I can make another tracker right? Why not? I gave it too her as she smiled. I smiled back. As she left I checked if the tracker was showing her correct location. I wanted to squeal so loudly. It was successfully tracking her.

I was looking at the new collection. Even if I liked something I will buy it with the money ma gave to me. I am never going to use his money.

"Where is Aadya bhabhi", I asked Shraddha Bhabhi.

"She is trying her dress", Shraddha Bhabhi responded.

"She is taking too long. Maybe she needs help. I'll see", I said as I went towards the trial room.

I knocked on the door but it was open.

"Aadya are you okay", I asked but there was no one inside. Her bag was lying on the floor. I ran outside having Aadya's bag in my hand.

"Bhabhi she is not there. Her bag was lying there", I told her in a panicked voice.

"She would be here only Roshni. Let's find her together", Shraddha Bhabhi said calmly. I nodded.

Even after searching for an hour we couldn't find her.

"Have you tried to call her", Shraddha Bhabhi asked me.

"Her phone is in her hand bag only", I responded as Aadya's phone started ringing. It was Anav ji calling her. I panicked as soon as I saw his name.

"What should we do now?", I asked as sweat started forming on my forehead due to the worry.

"Pick up the call and put it on speaker", Shraddha Bhabhi said gulping lightly. I was scared how will he react.

"Doll when should I come to pick you up", He responded in a calm voice. I looked towards Shraddha Bhabhi as she asked me to speak.

"Doll?", He called again.

"An.... Anav ji", I stuttered as tears started falling from my eyes. He would kill me. It's all because of me I should have taken care of her.

"Roshni? Where is Aadya?", Anav ji asked as I heard some shuffling from other side.

"A.......Anav ji I.....", I was unable to form words as tears fall down my cheeks.

"What the hell? Roshni what is wrong with Aadya? I am asking you last time did something happened", He shouted from the other side. I was shivering with fear.

"Anav", Shraddha took the phone from me as I sobbed keeping my hand on my mouth.

"Bhabhi? Where is Aadya?", He said in a calmer tone now. Shraddha Bhabhi gulped her saliva looking at the phone screen.

"We don't know", She responded.

"What do you mean you don't know? She was with you both only na?", Anav Ji said in a panic filled voice.

"She was trying a dress Anav and then I don't know where did she go?", Shraddha Bhabhi said.

"Who was waiting out for her when she was in the dressing room", Anav Ji said in a cold voice.

"Me", I responded as Bhabhi looked at me with a shocked look.

I heard something breaking from other side and the line went silent. I was scared but it was better he took out his anger on me. It was my fault as well I should have been with her. 

I knew he would be furious but Bhabhi is not knowing the intensity of his anger and what he can do in it. I shivered thinking about the consequence but right now Aadya's safety was the priority.

Here was the point of view of Roshni. Anav's anger is going to put him in so much problem.
