Idiot
Author's pov
He brought her home the next day only. He was silent and she was scared of his silence.
For once in her life, she wanted him to shout at her. She wanted him to let out all of his frustration by shouting but he was incredibly silent doing his work like a robot which was really disturbing for her.
She wanted to say sorry but it seemed like he didn't want to even talk to her.
Shiv took Saachi with him and left her at her home so she wasn't really worrying about her.
It was just her husband who was acting as a problem at the moment.
"Anav Ji", She called as she knocked on the study room after building a lot of confidence inside her.
On one hand, she wanted him to shout at her. Tell her how wrong she was in speaking so rudely with him but on the other hand, she was scared of his outburst as well.
He didn't answer so she peaked inside to find him working on his laptop without worrying about the world.
"Anav Ji", She called him as he looked up from his laptop to give her a glance before looking back at it as if he never heard her.
"Wasn't it Mr. Anav Khurana for you?", He asked making her feel worse.
"I am currently very busy, Roshni. Please don't disturb me. If you want something goes ask Mumma", He said as she frowned at his words.
Would she always talk to him when she has some work? But again she did hurt him so she should get ready to hear such accusations from him.
She needs to make herself mentally ready for all that kind of stuff.
"I am going out", She told him when he stopped typing for a second before continuing doing that.
"Take the guards with you", He said as she frowned.
"Why would I take the guards with myself?", She asked but he didn't answer. She sighed frustrated by his silence and closed the door behind her. She walked to the closet to get changed.
Mayura was getting married and she wanted her to be a part of her wedding shopping.
They have to complete the last rituals of her father quickly so it won't be a problem for Mayura to get married in a month.
It had been a month. She couldn't believe it.
She took out a long blue Kurti with white palazzo and embroidered dupatta. Simple yet classy.
Anav stared at the door from where she left and then called the head of his security team.
"Don't let her get away from your eyesight", He ordered.
"Right there, sir", The man from the other side said as he hanged up.
He himself doesn't know why he is behaving like this with her. She wasn't even at fault. He was mad at himself that he let Sayera reach Roshni.
He wanted to make everything perfect like before but of course, it was going to take time.
Roshni picked up her phone after hearing it ring.
"Hey", She said and waited for the other person to speak.
"When are you coming?", Mayura said as she sighed.
"Just got changed. Would be there in an hour or so", She said looking at the clock.
"Why don't you stay here for a day or two? The shopping wouldn't end today only and you also need to buy your clothes right?", Mayura asked politely.
"I don't know, Mayura. I don't want to buy anything. I have lots of clothes already. I don't want to stock more things up", She told her.
"Come on, Roshni. I know you are still coping up with your loss. But life doesn't stop right there no? You have to come out of your sorrow tunnel and need to get back on your normal track", Mayura said softly.
"It's easier said than doing Sweetheart. What do you think I am not trying? I am trying with all my might. But this is something I could never forget. There would always remain a space in my heart which can not be filled by anyone", She said as Mayura sighed.
"You are just suffocating yourself, Roshni. You need to let out your pain", Mayura told her.
"It's not about it only. Many things are going on in life and I feel incapable of handling all these things in my life. At this point, I realize how lonely I am", She said wiping her tears which she didn't realize were falling down her eyes.
"Sweetie, don't be like this", Mayura told her.
"You don't know Mayura. How does it feel? When I see a child with his father, I can't help but think about mine. I know he wasn't the best father but still, he was my father. You know that right. However times he behaved rudely with me but nobody could deny the fact that whenever I cried because of somebody else he was the one to be most angry. He was the one who taught me to never waste my tears for somebody who doesn't care about you. You know right how he used to pick and drop me at my school till I completed it. It is so difficult to forget everything", She said sitting on the bed.
"I know baby that's why I am asking you to come here. I know men can be busy. They won't really realize what his wife or mother is going through however loving they are. It's a girl thing. You would get depressed you would stay there. Your voice itself says how broken you feel at this moment and it is dangerous for you to stay alone at this moment. If you would stay alone, you would keep thinking about things you shouldn't be thinking about", Mayura said as Roshni sniffed softly wiping her tears.
"I'll be there", Roshni said hanging up.
She went to the closet to pack some clothes with herself.
She packed her clothes and moved downstairs where Aayat was trying to feed Arjun who was running around.
"You going somewhere, sweetheart", Aayat asked her as Arjun hid behind her.
"Yeah, I informed you about Mayura getting married. She wanted me to help her with the shopping and it will take a day or two for that", Roshni said uncomfortably.
"I am so sorry. It was a last-minute program. I do understand. I should've informed you beforehand but I don't know. If you don't want me to go, I would understand completely", Roshni said looking down as Aayat cupped her cheek.
"I didn't say anything. Did I?", Aayat asked as Roshni shook her head.
"And also we do understand completely. You need your time", Shraddha said hugging her from behind as Roshni smiled at her thankful for their supportive behavior.
"I would come back as soon as possible", She said as Aayat shook her head.
"Come back whenever you are comfortable. Don't force things on yourself. Take everything smoothly. We are here and will take care of everything. And about my stupid son, I know how he is behaving and I would definitely talk to him regarding his behavior. You don't have to worry about that", Aayat said pulling her cheeks softly as she smiled.
"You don't have to do that Mumma. It's just he is very busy with his work. Once he would be free, I myself would talk to him. And you know how he acts when he is overburdened", Roshni asked as Aayat sighed.
"Like an irritated little baby", Aayat completed as Roshni nodded.
"Alright. Now the important part did you take everything you would need there", Shraddha asked as Roshni nodded.
"You kept enough cash, right? Some shopkeepers don't accept E-payment", Shraddha said as Roshni nodded.
"Eat something first then you could leave. Shraddha bacha, please call Rehan Ji. He also didn't have anything from morning. I did send the lunch in the office but I don't know if this man had anything or not", Aayat said as Shraddha nodded before moving away.
"There Khurana men have this problem only. They would act all ruthless in front of the world and at home, they want their wives to take care of them like a baby", Aayat said as Roshni smiled at her words.
The ladies had their food and Roshni took her to leave.
"Why is he behaving like that with Roshni?", Shraddha asked Aayat as she looked at the television.
"He is an idiot. An idiot doesn't need horns on his head to be identified, you can identify him by looking at his actions. And my all kids are complete idiots. I am just thankful that Kanha blessed them with perfect partners who can handle them perfectly", Aayat said as Shraddha smiled at her.
"Yeah, I mean it. Now take for example. My daughter is a complete idiot. She behaves like a 5-year-old but somehow is a queen. I sometimes feel worried about the people who consider her their queen. They don't even know their queen is a tragedy in herself. Ekansh does have a lot of patience to keep up with her. The same goes with Adhi, he is an idiot when he is angry. But you do handle him perfectly and this Anav is a whole different story. Sometimes I feel he still needs a good beating from me. At least the other kids know how to behave in front of their partners but he acts like a king ruling upon that little girl. Stupid, Idiot, fool of a son of mine. I am just thankful for her to not leave him already. It is so difficult to keep up with him", Aayat said as Shraddha nodded.
"I mean I am the mother. And nobody can know about a person more than his mother. I know what kind of kids I do have and I just wish Arjun to be better than them", Aayat said looking at Arjun who was looking at her with a pout having chocolate on his cheeks, lips, and hands.
"But I am asking for too much after all whose blood is running in his veins. Your life is ruined Shraddha", Aayat teased her as Shraddha smiled before looking at her little trouble.
A frown married her face.
"When did this happen? Where did you find this chocolate?", She asked him as he ran upstairs while she followed him.
"I said right blood do show its color", Aayat said smiling at the mother-son duo.
