The Oh Household.

5pm.

The two women waited patiently in the living room for Father Oh's return. Following on, another huge family battle was about to ensue...

10 minutes later, Father Oh walked into the living room with his briefcase. Perhaps it was because he knew that Elder Oh had left, his footsteps were a lot faster and lighter than usual. As he put down his briefcase he also removed his suit jacket. In his eyes, Yeon-seo did not exist, so he directly walked over to Mia, wrapped his arms around her and kissed her like no one was watching.

"Don't be like this, Yeon-seo is here," knowing that her husband's heart was on her side, Mia pretended to be shy. In reality, she was reminding him that Yeon-seo was standing right there and it was time to deal with her.

Yeon-seo looked at the couple coldly. It seemed, she had already become accustomed to Mia's tricks. The only problem was, she had always allowed Mia to bully her in the past.

"Father..."

Yeon-seo called out in a gentle voice. Of course, her words contained no emotions, but Father Oh still assumed that she was trying to plea for mercy. So, he placed his arm around Mia's shoulder and sat down on the sofa, pointing his chin as he looked at Yeon-seo, "You finally know how to plea?"

Yeon-seo looked at Father Oh's arrogant expression, but did not respond.

"Yeon-seo, it's not that I want to lecture you, but you should learn how to distinguish whether your father is closer or your grandfather. "An unfilial child is complete rubbish! When will you be able to bear me another one?" After yelling at Yeon-seo, Father Oh turned to question Mia instead, "Since you created a big mess today, you should just stay at home and focus on trying to get pregnant."

"I need someone to take over my inheritance."

Hearing this, Mia looked at Yeon-seo with an amused smile, "What about Yeon-seo?"

"I've given her a place to eat and sleep, and I've given her the identity of the Big Miss of the Oh Family. This is already a huge gift to her..." Father Oh said. Yeon-seo stared coldly at Father Oh; at the face that got uglier by the day. She found that she still felt a slight sense of fear. After all, this face had left quite a traumatic impression on her...

Everyone around her encouraged her not to be afraid and not to back down. She did not deserve to be bullied, even if the person that was bullying her was her father.

So, Yeon-seo focused her gaze and let out a cold laugh, "You want me to leave? I'm afraid I don't have any intention on doing that any time soon. Plus, if Mr Oh wants to talk about what we owe each other, then let's calculate it clearly."

Father Oh never expected that Yeon-seo would refute against him. Not only that, her eyes seemed to be completely void of fear...

"Do you think that you deserve to be a father? No, let me rephrase. Do you think you are still human?" Yeon-seo laughed. It was like she was looking at a wild dog and a stray cat.

"After all these years of being hit and scolded by you, I've long cursed at you with every single swear word I know. I bet you didn't know this, right?" Yeon-seo continued. However, Yeon-seo did not waste any more time on arguing as she directly said to the housekeeper, "Prepare the luggage and bring it out."

Hearing these words, Father Oh assumed that Yeon-seo had given up and was ready to leave.

But, Yeon-seo did not move at all as she smiled and waited for the housekeeper to bring the luggage to them...

Yeon-seo then pointed to the luggage and said to Father Oh, "I've helped you pack everything. Now, get lost!"

Hearing this, Father Oh and Mia were shocked. They then burst out laughing like they had heard a ridiculous joke.

"Yeon-seo, have you gone crazy? I was the one that told you to leave..."

"I know," Yeon-seo remained calm as she smiled, "But, what right do you have to make me leave?"

Hearing this question, Father Oh retrieved his smile and let go of Mia as he approached Yeon-seo in a dominant manner, "With the fact that I am your father and everything you own was given to you by me. This includes your prestigious identity and everything that the Oh Family has provided you. Even your right to live in this household was given by me."

"Yeon-seo, I don't mean to lecture you, but your father is currently furious. You should move out for a little and come back when your father is no longer angry..." Mia said, pretending to be nice. "I'm sure you know how his temper is like. Be good, stop joking...otherwise, who know how much you may need to suffer again..."

"Who's joking?" Yeon-seo growled as she looked at Mia in seriousness.

Father Oh glanced at Yeon-seo before he turned to the housekeeper and said, "You heard what the Madam said..."

Father Oh was surprised, but suddenly came to a realization, "Did my father give you instructions before he left?"

"Housekeeper, throw their stuff out!" Yeon-seo yelled as she pointed to the luggage before the housekeeper got the chance to respond.

The housekeeper glanced at Father Oh before he walked over to the luggage and started dragging them towards the door. But, at this time, Mia ran over and blocked his path, "Do you not know who owns this house?"

"He obviously knows. That's why he knows who's orders to listen to," Yeon-seo responded.

"What do you mean?"

Yeon-seo did not waste any more time on the couple as she pulled out the deeds to the house as well as other related documents, "Have a close look and see for yourself who's name this house is under!"

Father Oh snatched the documents out of Yeon-seo's hands and quickly flipped through it, "This is impossible. Yeon-seo..."

"Grandfather personally signed these papers in front of the lawyers. Perhaps, you would like to speak to them?" Yeon-seo crossed her arms as she spoke. "Mr. Oh, after all the years of abuse you have given me, you must have never expected this day to come. Grandfather didn't want to see the Oh Family's inheritance fall into the hands of a sl*t, so he changed the ownership of the house to my name."

"So, tell me, who owns this house now?"

After hearing Yeon-seo's words, Mia snatched the documents from Father Oh's hands and had a look, "What's wrong with your father? Is he old and senile? Fathers always dote on their sons, I've never seen a father skip a generation and dote on their granddaughter instead?"

Father Oh fell into a panic, so he immediately grabbed the documents and tore it to shreds, "This doesn't count!"

"You've simply torn up a copy. The original is with grandfather. Regardless of whether you acknowledge it or not, this document is already recognized in the court of law. Therefore, you have no choice but to follow it!"

Father Oh was so angry that his veins began showing. It was obvious that he was trying to control his emotions.

There had been many times in the past when she was terrified frozen by this look in his eyes, but now, she now longer feared it. Perhaps it was because she now had the means to fight back, or perhaps she was no longer afraid of anything. After all, a courageous person was impenetrable!

"I know..."

"I know you gave birth to me. But, when have you treated me like a human being?" Yeon-seo asked as she raised her voice. "If you want to hit me again, then go ahead. If you want to yell at me, then yell all you want. Do you know how long I have waited for this day?"

"There have been times in the past when I dreamed of dragging you down to the grave with me, especially during times when I was hit. But, when I came to my senses, I would ask myself why I would sacrifice my life over a jerk like you?"

"Now that I've seized control of Park Corps and become the owner of this house, I can do whatever I want to you. I can watch you beg for mercy and I can step all over you. I can watch you live your life like a beggar and watch you suffer the consequences of revenge. I can watch you being bullied and watch you die all alone in bed the way that mother did!"

"Mr. Oh, there have been multiple times in the past when I could have told grandfather about what you've done, but I held back because we are blood-related. However, this time, I will not hold back at all!"

"There are too many people in this world that put up with domestic violence, but they have no way of escaping from this nightmare simply because the person abusing them is a family member..."

"Which one of you is Mia's family member? The patient has woken up and would like to see Mr. Oh. Which one of you is Mr. Oh?" a nurse asked as she stepped out of the emergency room. Yeon-seo responded by pointing coldly to her father.

Mr. Oh pushed open the door without a word. However, before he reached Mia's bedside, a heavy item hit him in the head as he heard the shrill cry of Mia's voice, "Mr. Oh! You're worse than an animal! Get lost! I want a divorce!"

Hearing the cries coming from the room, Yeon-seo's lips curved upwards in mockery, "What a joke! This woman once thought that she could inherit everything owned by the Oh Family. But now, she will simply be seen as an old man's toy that has had a miscarriage."

Jimin did not get a chance to respond, because at this moment, Father Oh rushed out of the emergency room with blood dripping from his head as he glared at Yeon-seo.

After quite some time, he finally said, "Did you have to force me to act so ruthlessly?"

Mr. Oh raised his thumb at Yeon-seo without saying another word nor pleading for mercy. He simply pushed the two aside and walked out of the hospital. As she looked at him from behind, Yeon-seo noticed that he suddenly looked like he had aged. It was like he was a frail old 70/80-year-old man.

Needless to say, with Mr. Oh's dismissal and Mia's miscarriage, Oh Corps had successfully helped Taehyung make his first move.

"Everything is yours now. You need to stay strong and welcome a new beginning," Jimin said as he patted Yeon-seo on the shoulder.

"I will prove to everyone that I am better than Mr. Oh!" Yeon-seo said confidently. "From today onwards, I am President Oh: the new person in charge of Oh Corps."

"Let's go, I'll take you home," Jimin said as he shook her body.

After a few moments of silence in the private room, Y/N finally stood up and walked over to the door. As she opened it, she took a quick glance at Taehyung.

"Let's go, KU..."

"Since Master Ni is already on his way. I would like to give my greetings," Y/N offered.

It didn't take long before Master Ni disappeared from sight and KU finally let out a sigh of relief as she knelt on the floor.

"Yes," Yeon-seo nodded her head. "Plus, let me tell you, the young doctor has a really hot body. If he wasn't a doctor, he could have been a model without any problems."

Hearing this, Jimin suddenly felt a slight discomfort that he couldn't quite explain.

Back when Father Oh was kicked out of the household, the hug that Yeon-seo gave him left quite an impression. But, they were classmates! Was he developing feelings for people too easily?

"However, I heard that this doctor is quite close to your second sister. Who knows, perhaps they are a couple."

"Don't you like guys like that?" Jimin took the opportunity to test her.

"I don't like boring people who's only hobby is to cut open a person's brain...Just the thought of it gives me goosebumps..." Yeon-seo replied casually. "I prefer guys that are bright and cheery. After all, my life is already full of enough darkness."

"In that case, what do you think about me?" Jimin suddenly asked in seriousness as he looked into Yeon-seo's eyes. Her eyes seemed to twinkle like a sky full of stars.

Yeon-seo was suddenly dumbfounded as her heart began to race. After quite some time, she finally mumbled, "Our relationship may be confusing to the public, but we are simply helping each other out, right? If that's the case, don't you think your question is a little awkward between classmates?"

Hearing this, Jimin spoke even more seriously, "Do you feel awkward around me and not comfortable?"

"I...haven't thought too much into it."

The two people simultaneously turned silent. After quite some time, Jimin finally changed the subject, "Have you found a place to live yet?"

"Yes, I've found a house in Seoul with the highest safety rating," Yeon-seo nodded. "Don't worry, I won't allow myself to get hurt again."

Jimin gave a slight smile as he nodded his head.

To prevent history from repeating itself, Jimin did not dwell on the topic of relationships. He hated when he acted so immature.

"If anything happens, make sure to tell me," Jimin reminded Yeon-seo.

"Yes, stop being so naggy. Also, thank you for dinner tonight. However, I have some matters to deal with at Oh Corps, so I'll leave first," Yeon-seo returned to her usual energetic self.

"Ok, take care," Jimin did not offer to escort her. At this moment, it was important for him to learn some self control.

Yeon-seo smiled before she turned and left the hotel..

Jimin followed behind until he saw her drive off in her car. He then boarded his Rolls Royce Phantom. But, at this moment, he suddenly noticed a black car speeding towards Yeon-seo's car from the distance. Jimin directly drove over and blocked the car's path without a second thought.

By this time, Yeon-seo's red sports car had already disappeared around the corner...

Sitting inside the black car was none other than Father Oh.

He was filled with so much hatred that the windshield could not block the loathing that was shooting out from his eyes.

"Let's put an end to this today!" Jimin said to Father Oh. The two men drove their cars to a nearby carpark and stepped out to face each other, "Stop hurting Yeon-seo. She has already suffered your abuse for much too long!"

"I gave birth to her, so I am her father! Yet that unfilial child treated me in such a way. I cannot accept it!"

"You still haven't learned your lesson. What else do you want?" Jimin increased the volume of his voice. "What will you get from dwelling on this situation? Let me give you a word of advice, before things get out of hand and while you still have a chance, I suggest you stop doing such meaningless things."

"After all, Yeon-seo is no longer someone you can afford to offend."

After speaking, Jimin turned to leave. However, Father Oh suddenly pulled out a dagger from behind him and directly aimed for Jimin's back...

Jimin noticed something wasn't quite right. But, just as he turned around, he was already too late to avoid the incoming dagger. Although the dagger didn't damage any major organs, it was lodged into the left side of his stomach. Blood quickly soaked through Jimin's clothes as Mr. Oh took a few steps back in fear.

Mr. Oh's expression changed as he began to tremble...After a few moments of shock, he regained his composure and quickly got back into his car. As he drove away, the car hit Jimin on the right side of his body.

Jimin fell to the ground and rolled a fair distance due to the impact. After quite some struggling, he managed to use his last remaining strength to pull out his phone and gave Y/N a phone call, "Sister...Three...save me..."

Y/N and Taehyung were originally on their way to deal with Gyeong-ree when they received Jimin's phone call. As a result, they immediately asked Chanyeol to turn the car around and Taehyung quickly contacted everyone he could to track down Jimin's location. But, by the time they found him, he was already unconscious.

To prevent Jimin from appearing on the headlines, Taehyung immediately contacted a trustworthy hospital and sent Jimin straight into the emergency operating theater.

As Y/N looked at the blood-covered Jimin, she shut her eyes tightly, "Chanyeol, go investigate what happened."

Chanyeol understood as he quickly nodded his head, "Don't worry Madam, leave it with me."

"Also, keep this entire incident under wraps. We can't let anyone know about this. Especially not Master Ni."

If Master Ni realized that he could target the Park Family, who knew what disgusting ideas he would develop.

"Understood," Chanyeol nodded once again.

Yeon-seo had no idea that Jimin was injured. As soon as she arrived home, she began thinking about the conversation she had with him earlier and found herself subconsciously blushing. In reality, she too reminisced about the hug that she had with Jimin and the feelings that she felt that day. But, even though she felt that they had exceeded the relationship of normal friends, she did not think that they had reached the stage of lovers.

"He wouldn't be angry at me, would he?" Yeon-seo began to wonder if she had gone too far, so she picked up her phone to give Jimin a call. However, the Jimin that usually picked up within three seconds, did not react at all.

Yeon-seo did not give up. So, she tried again. But, the result was the same.

"Could he really be angry?"

"Madam, the owners of the shopping centre agreed to cooperate by looking into their surveillance cameras. The person that stabbed Jimin has been confirmed. It was Mr. Oh!" Chanyeol said unhappily. "It appears that Jimin was attacked by Mr. Oh because he was trying to protect Miss Oh. Madam, should we notify Miss Oh? I'm afraid..."

"Are you afraid that Yeon-seo doesn't know how to be grateful?" Y/N finished Chanyeol's sentence for him. "Let's talk about it after Jimin wakes up."

"Chanyeol, report this to the police, but request that they keep their investigation confidential," Taehyung suddenly instructed.

Hearing this, Chanyeol gently nodded his head. Taehyung's intention was clear: he was going to make Mr. Oh live out the rest of his life in jail.

Since he was a danger to society, it was only right for them to help clean out the trash...

So, Yeon-seo had absolutely no idea what had happened to Jimin. In fact, she was completely unaware that after she left the hotel, Jimin had rushed over to shield her from danger.

But, this incident still managed to spread within smaller circles of the industry. Especially for people like Rose, who's speciality was to gather information from various sources, news like this wasn't difficult for her to find out about. So, amongst the people that had heard of the news, there was one other person worth mentioning.

Suzy!

She didn't understand why, but whenever she heard Jimin's name, her heart would involuntarily speed up. This was especially the case when she heard that he was currently in hospital.

To save herself from regrets, Suzy secretly visited the hospital without anyone knowing.

At this moment, Jimin had just finished in the operating theater and was being sent to his hospital room. Taehyung was worried that Y/N would tire herself out, so she instructed Chanyeol to watch over Jimin until he woke up.

Suzy waited until Chanyeol stepped out of the room before she pushed open the door and approached Jimin. Seeing him lying weakly in bed, Suzy's heart sank.

In reality, Jimin was already awake. But, when he opened his eyes and caught a glance of Suzy, he was quite surprised, "Why are you here?"

"I heard you were injured, so I came to visit you," Suzy sat down on the edge of Jimin's bed as her eyes began to redden. "If I had a choice, I would hope for things to return to how they used to be; back to a time when you were still my artist and nothing had changed between us."

Hearing this, Jimin closed his eyes tiredly, "If this is all you've come to say, then please leave."

"Jimin..."

"I think the relationship between us is perfectly clear. Plus, you already have a fiance; please control your feelings. Suzy, when I express my love, I invest myself 100%. But, once I retrieve it, then I'm sorry...you are worse than a stranger to me. I think it's best if we stop adding to each others baggage."

"But..."

"I got hurt because I didn't want to see Yeon-seo get hurt, nor did I want to see her sad," Jimin explained, "Your family background is very similar to hers, but fate has led the two of you down very different paths. Suzy, you have someone that dotes on you and loves you, but Yeon-seo has nothing."

"Must you protect her this way?"

"At least, if I decide to hate her one day, she wouldn't continue to cling onto me," Jimin said coldly. "Please close the door on your way out. I know that my sister has been trying to keep my injury a secret. If news gets leaked, I will blame it on you regardless of who's fault it may actually be."

"Does Yeon-seo know that you protected her in such a way?" Suzy suddenly asked after a moment of silence.

Jimin did not respond.

"Jimin, how about we leave this place together. Let's leave Seoul and start afresh."

"Sorry, I don't like playing games that have no ending," Jimin replied straightforwardly, "It disgusts me!"
