59) Awakening her desire.
So the moment we all are waiting is come......
Savi was about to say then he changed the topic and said, " Savi , I can still drop all of you? Tell me where are we heading?"
Savi hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond. She hadn't planned on revealing her destination to Rajat. The kids were already walking ahead, oblivious to the subtle tension between their parents.
"I'm going to...the therapist's office," Savi said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
Rajat's eyes narrowed slightly, his expression concerned. "You're going to therapy?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.
Savi nodded, feeling a sense of vulnerability wash over her. "Yes," she said, her voice firm. "I need to work through myself."
Rajat's face softened, his eyes filled with understanding. "I'll drop you and the kids," he said, his voice firm. "And then I'll wait for you outside the therapist's office. You don't have to go through this alone, Savi."
Savi shook her head, her expression firm. "It's fine, Rajat. I can manage on my own."
Rajat's eyes searched hers, as if trying to read her thoughts. For a moment, they just stood there, locked in a silent understanding.
But then Rajat nodded, his expression softening. "If you are going anywhere else then I will say yes go. But I can't let you go alone for therapy."
Savi's eyes widened slightly at Rajat's words, her heart skipping a beat. There was something in his tone, a quiet determination that made her feel seen and heard.
"Why?" Savi asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Rajat's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity. "Because I care about you, Savi," he said, his voice low and gentle. "And I don't want you to face this alone."
Savi felt a flutter in her chest, her mind racing with the implications of Rajat's words. She knew she should resist, maintain her independence, but a part of her wanted to lean into his care, to let him support her.
Savi's eyes dropped, her lashes fluttering closed as she felt a surge of emotion. Rajat's words were like a gentle breeze on a summer day, soothing and calming.
"I am your husband, Savi," Rajat repeated, his voice low and husky. "It's my duty to take care of you, to support you. Let me do that."
Savi's heart skipped a beat as she felt Rajat's hand brush against hers, his fingers intertwining with hers in a gentle caress. She knew she should pull away, maintain her distance, but a part of her didn't want to let go.
" I am sorry Rajat, I let you marry my broken version who goes for therapies. I shouldn't marry you. " Savi whispered.
Rajat's eyes filled with compassion as he gazed at Savi. "No, Savi," he whispered back, his voice filled with emotion. "Don't say that. You did nothing wrong. We got married, and that's that. We'll face whatever comes next together."
Savi's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Rajat. "But I'm broken, Rajat," she whispered, her voice cracking. "I'm not whole. I don't know if I can ever be the wife you deserve."
Rajat's face softened, his eyes burning with intensity. "Savi, you're not broken," he said, his voice firm. "You're just... hurt."
Savi felt a lump form in her throat as she gazed at Rajat, his words resonating deep within her.
Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she felt a weight lift off her shoulders. For the first time in a long time, she felt like she could breathe, like she didn't have to pretend to be strong all the time.
Rajat's eyes never left hers, his expression soft and understanding. He took a step closer, his arms opening wide, and Savi felt herself lean into him, felt herself surrender to his warmth and comfort.
Savi nodded, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude. She sat down in the car, her hands clasped together in her lap. Rajat got out and walked around to the other side, getting into the driver's seat. Kids were in back seat not knowing the tense atmosphere.
As he started the car, Savi turned to him, her eyes searching his face. "Thank you, Rajat," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Rajat's eyes met hers, his expression soft and reassuring.
After dropping the kids. Rajat stopped the car in front of the clinic. Savi was sitting still and looking in front and then her voice, barely audible, a whispered apology that seemed to carry the weight of her entire world. "Rajat..." she whispered, her eyes downcast, her shoulders slumped in defeat.
Rajat's response was immediate, his voice low and soothing. "Yes?" he prompted, his tone encouraging her to continue.
Savi took a deep breath, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I'm so sorry... that I have to go for therapy, I know mad people go for psychiatrist. " she said, her voice cracking with emotion.
Rajat's expression softened, his eyes filling with compassion. He reached out, his hand covering hers, his touch warm and reassuring. "Savi, don't say that," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "You didn't know... none of us knew. And even if we had, it wouldn't have changed anything."
Savi felt a lump form in her throat as Rajat's words washed over her. "Savi, it's okay to not be okay," he said, his voice low and soothing.
She nodded, feeling a sense of relief at his words. It was as if he had given her permission to not be perfect, to not have it all together.
"Alright," Rajat said, his eyes never leaving hers. " You know I was once like you. I was in depression few years back. And I am saying its completely alright."
Savi's eyes widened in surprise, her gaze locked on Rajat's face. "You... you had depression?" she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Rajat nodded, his expression somber. "Yes, I did," he said, his voice low and introspective. "It was a difficult time in my life. I felt lost and alone, like I was drowning in my own thoughts."
Savi felt a pang of empathy, her heart going out to Rajat. She couldn't imagine what he must have gone through, how he must have felt.
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
Rajat's eyes dropped, his gaze falling to the floor. "I was ashamed," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't want anyone to know, to see me as weak."
Savi's eyes welled up with tears, her heart aching for Rajat. She couldn't believe that he had gone through this alone, that he had suffered in silence.
But as she looked at him, she saw the strength in his eyes, the resilience that had carried him through. And she felt a sense of awe, a sense of admiration for this man who had faced his demons and come out on top.
Rajat's expression softened, his eyes filled with compassion. "Savi, you're not mad," he said, his voice gentle. "You're brave. It takes courage to admit when we need help, to face our fears and vulnerabilities."
He took a step closer, his eyes locked on hers. "I was ashamed too, at first," he said. "But then I realized that seeking help was a sign of strength, not weakness. And I want you to know that I'm here for you, Savi. I'll support you every step of the way."
Savi felt a lump form in her throat as she looked at Rajat. His words were like a balm to her soul, soothing her fears and doubts.
"Thank you, Rajat," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Thank you for understanding me."
Rajat's face drew closer, his eyes burning with intensity. "I'll always understand you, Savi," he whispered. "And I'll always be here for you."
Savi's eyes locked onto Rajat's, her gaze drawn into the depths of his eyes. She could feel his warm breath on her skin, sending shivers down her spine.
Her heart was racing, pounding in her chest like a drum. She could feel the tension between them, the air thick with unspoken emotions.
Rajat's eyes never left hers, his gaze burning with intensity. Savi felt like he could see right through her, like he could read her very soul.
She felt a flutter in her chest, a sense of excitement mixed with fear. She didn't know what was happening, but she knew she couldn't look away.
Rajat's face was inches from hers, his lips almost touching hers. Savi could feel the heat emanating from his body, could smell the scent of his cologne.
Time seemed to stand still as they stood there, locked in a silent understanding. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a moment of pure tension.
Savi's heart skipped a beat as she felt a sudden, intense longing to feel Rajat's lips on hers. It was as if her body had taken over, her desires overriding all rational thought.
She leaned in, her eyes locked on Rajat's, her lips parted slightly in anticipation. Rajat's eyes seemed to darken, his gaze burning with a fierce intensity.
For a moment, they just stood there, poised on the brink of something momentous. The air was electric with tension, the only sound the soft hum of the world around them.
Then, without another moment's hesitation, Rajat's lips met hers in a soft, gentle kiss. Savi felt a jolt of electricity run through her body, her heart soaring with excitement.
Savi's eyes fluttered open, her gaze meeting Rajat's as they broke apart from the kiss. She felt a rush of guilt and shame, her mind racing with the implications of what had just happened.
"I... I have an appointment, Rajat," she stammered, trying to compose herself.
Rajat's expression was neutral, but Savi could sense a hint of disappointment behind his eyes. "Of course," he said, his voice low and even. "We should go."
Savi nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew she had to get out of there, to get some distance from Rajat and the feelings he had awakened within her.
As they walked back to the car, Savi couldn't shake off the feeling that she had crossed a line, that she had done something irreparably wrong. But deep inside she say he was her husband why should she feel bad.
