As soon as Rajat left the room, Savi followed him outside to see Isha Maa. But as she entered the living room, she was met with a surprise.

Bhagyashree was sitting on the sofa, engaged in a serious conversation with Isha Maa. Rajat's eyes met Savi's, and he shook his head slightly, as if to say that he had no idea what was going on either.

Just then, Sai came running into the room, her little legs moving quickly as she made a beeline for Savi. She threw her arms around Savi's legs, hugging her tightly. "Dadi is saying, if you agree, then I can call you Pari mumma," Sai exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "You can be my mumma. Will you say yes?"

Savi's heart skipped a beat as she looked down at Sai, her eyes welling up with tears. She felt a surge of emotion, a mix of joy, love, and gratitude. She looked up at Bhagyashree, who was watching her with a warm smile, and then at Isha Maa, who nodded encouragingly. Rajat, too, was looking at her, his eyes filled with a deep understanding.

Savi took a deep breath, her voice trembling with emotion. "Yes, beta," she said, her words barely above a whisper. "I would be honored to be your Pari mumma. But..."

Savi's words trailed off, her eyes clouding over with a mix of sadness and longing. She looked down at Sai, who was still clinging to her legs, her eyes shining with hope.

Savi's heart ached as she realized that she couldn't give Sai the one thing she wanted most - a mother's love and acceptance.

"But that's not possible, Sai," Savi continued, her voice barely above a whisper. "You are like my daughter, but I can't be your mumma unless..." She paused, her eyes meeting Bhagyashree's, who nodded slightly, as if encouraging her to continue.

Savi took a deep breath, her voice trembling with emotion. "Unless your father and me marry, beta," she said, her eyes darting to Rajat, who was watching her with a complex expression. "Unless he gives me permission to be your mother, I can only be your teacher, your friend, but not your mumma. And thats not possible."

Sai's eyes sparkled with hope as she looked up at Rajat, her voice filled with a child's innocent persuasion. "Papa, ask Savi teacher to become my Pari mumma," she said, her tone sweet and endearing.

Rajat remained standing still, his eyes fixed on Savi. Isha Maa stepped forward, a gentle smile on her face.

"Savi, your Bhagyashree aunty has come up with a marriage proposal," Isha Maa said, her voice soft and measured. "She wants you to marry Mr. Thakkar, Rajat. But I want you to know, beta, that I will not pressure you. It will be your choice, and yours alone. Final."

Savi's eyes widened in shock, her gaze darting to Rajat, who was still standing silently, his expression unreadable. She felt a flutter in her chest, a mix of emotions swirling inside her.

Marriage? To Rajat? The thought was both thrilling and terrifying. Savi's eyes searched Rajat's face, looking for any sign of what he was thinking, but his expression remained inscrutable.

Savi's eyes were fixed on Rajat, her expression a mixture of shock and confusion. She couldn't believe what Isha Maa had just said. Marriage? To Rajat? It seemed like a surreal dream. She looked at Rajat, expecting him to say something, to react in some way. But Rajat's expression was neutral, his eyes cast downward, as if he was trying to appear nonchalant.

But what Savi didn't know was that Rajat was not as oblivious as he seemed. In reality, he had been the one to approach Bhagyashree with the proposal of marriage. He had done it for Sai's sake, wanting to give his daughter the stability and love of a complete family.

Rajat's eyes flickered with a momentary glance at Savi, but he quickly looked away, maintaining his poker face. He didn't want Savi to know that he had been the one to initiate the proposal, at least not yet.

Savi's words tumbled out in a rush, her voice laced with incredulity. She looked at Isha Maa, her eyes wide with shock and confusion. "Aunty, what are you saying? How can we marry? I mean, Mr. Thakkar doesn't even like my presence. That's practically impossible," she exclaimed, her tone dripping with skepticism.

Savi's gaze darted to Rajat, who was still standing silently, his expression unreadable. She couldn't fathom why Isha Maa would even suggest such a thing. Didn't she know how Rajat felt about her? The tension between them was palpable, and the idea of them getting married seemed absurd.

Rajat's eyes flickered, his gaze meeting Savi's for a brief moment. But he quickly looked away, his expression still neutral. Savi, however, couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this proposal than met the eye.

Rajat's voice broke the silence, his eyes locking onto Savi's with a hint of intensity. "Can we talk alone, Savi?" he asked, his tone low and measured.

Savi's heart skipped a beat as she met Rajat's gaze. She felt a flutter in her chest, a sense of trepidation mixed with curiosity. What did Rajat want to talk to her about?

Isha Maa nodded, her eyes sparkling with a knowing glint. "Yes, of course, beta. You two talk. I'll take Sai with me." She gently took Sai's hand, and they walked out of the room, leaving Rajat and Savi alone.

The silence between them was palpable, the air thick with unspoken words. Rajat's eyes never left Savi's face, his gaze piercing and intense. Savi felt her heart racing, her mind whirling with questions. What was Rajat going to say to her?

Rajat's words trailed off, his eyes searching Savi's face as if looking for a place to begin. He took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling with a slow, deliberate movement. Savi's eyes met his, her expression softening ever so slightly as she sensed his hesitation.

"I don't know how to start," Rajat repeated, his voice barely above a whisper. He paused, collecting his thoughts before continuing. Savi's eyes never left his face, her gaze encouraging him to open up, to share whatever was on his mind.

The silence between them was no longer awkward, but rather, it had become a comfortable, anticipatory silence. Savi's heart beat steadily, her mind curious about what Rajat was going to say next. She leaned forward slightly, her body language inviting him to continue.

Savi's eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze piercing as she asked the question that had been on her mind since Isha Maa had mentioned the proposal. "And then, Mr. Thakkar," she said, her voice measured, "you yourself came up with this proposal, right?"

Rajat's eyes met Savi's, a flicker of surprise crossing his face before he nodded slowly. "Yes," he said, his voice low and husky. "I did. I asked Maa to speak to your mother about it."

Savi's expression remained neutral, but her mind was racing with questions. Why had Rajat proposed such a thing? What was he hoping to achieve? And what did he expect from her in return? She leaned back slightly, her eyes never leaving Rajat's face, as she waited for him to explain himself.
