It was the day when you were supposed to attend Hero Gala. You and Shoto have been to many dates after the day he confessed. Everyone knew by now that no. 2 pro hero is dating you. You were waiting for Touya to pick you up. He was still your date and Momo left early because she's a pro hero after all. She was needed there early.

You checked yourself one last time in your mirror before you heard a knock at your door. You went outside and opened the door, only to get greeted by perfectly dressed Touya.

"You look beautiful, Karen," Touya complimented you.

"Thank you, Dabi. You don't look bad yourself," You said. He smiled at you and stretched his hand out.

"You ready to go?" He asked. You nodded as you took his hand.

You locked the door behind and proceeded towards Touya's car. After you both were inside the car, he started to drive.

You two reached the venue and stepped out of the car. There was a lot of paparazzi.

They showered you two with questions like; if you are dating Touya and not Shoto, or if you are cheating on Shoto. You had an urge to roll your eyes at their questions but your current objective was to get inside the Gala hall.

When you two finally entered the hall, your eyes immediately searched for Shoto. Everyone's eyes were on you, but your eyes were desperately searching for him.

As soon as your eyes landed on his figure. You saw he was staring at you. You felt butterflies in your stomach as you made your way towards him with Touya walking beside you.

"You can talk to him while I go greet my parents and siblings," Touya whispered in your ears before leaving your side. You nodded, your eyes still focused on your boyfriend.

"Hi," Shoto said as he cupped your cheeks before pecking your lips softly.

"Hey," You replied with a smile.

"You look breathtaking, baby," Shoto said. You chuckled.

"And you handsome," You replied.

"Aw! They are so cute," You heard someone say from behind Shoto as you peeked to see who it was. You saw Fuyumi clicking a picture of you two with hearts in her eyes. You suddenly felt conscious about your surrounding as you saw many people were seeing you with Shoto like that as he was no. 2 pro hero.

You buried your face in Shoto's chest in embarrassment which made your boyfriend chuckle.

"Let's go and meet my parents, hm?" Shoto asked. You nodded your face still buried in his chest.

You both went to where his family was standing. You realized his father had a displeased expression on his face. But, you have heard many times that's how Enji Todoroki has always been. While his mother had a gentle smile on her face.

"Karen this is my parents and mom, dad this is Karen, my girlfriend," Shoto introduced you.

"Nice to meet you, Endeavor and Mrs Todoroki," You said bowing.

"Nice to meet you dear, you look very pretty," His mother complimented you as you smiled at bowed at her.

"Mr Todoroki would do, I'm not Endeavor anymore," Enji corrected you making you chuckle nervously.

"Yes, sir," You said again bowing apologetically. Feeling the tension in the air Touya changed the topic immediately.

"Let's go and have fun on the dance floor," He said gesturing to the rest of the Todoroki siblings and you to follow him.

Shoto took your hand in his intertwining your fingers with his as he gave you a small smile.

"Let's go, have fun, Sapphire," He said.

And because I made Dabi a nice guy in the story. I thought maybe I can make Endeavor less of a rude man.
