Naina took a deep breath. She didn't know from where to start her story.

"Sugandha was my sister in law. Her brother, Hitesh, is my husband."

Aryan thought that since it was already in his fate that he will receive huge surprises, he was ready. But today, he had got a jackpot of surprises. Or maybe some things were still left.

"Hitesh! You are married? Where is your husband?"

"I will tell you everything. Sugandha and I were best friends. We studied in same college. We both were psychiatrist. She introduced me to her brother, Hitesh.

Eventually, we fell in love and we got married. Everything was perfect until Sugandha went missing."

"But where did she go?"

"We had no clue. For twenty days, we tried to search for her. We took the help of police. They tried to search for her. It is not easy to find a person in a vast city like Mumbai.

Actually we weren't sure whether she was in Mumbai or not. Suddenly, Hitesh got a call from her. She had secretly called from the mobile of one of the goons. She told Raghav had kidnapped her. He and his men had raped her."

A tear escaped from Naina's eye. Aryan took a deep breath. "The call ended. Since police was tracking all our calls, we were able to locate their whereabouts.

Hitesh, was one of the best lawyer in Mumbai. He decided to file a case against him. People advised him not to take these matter seriously. But he was determined to fight. I supported him.

Our case was going very well. We had enough evidences to prove that she was raped. At the last moment, Sugandha changed her statement saying that she had falsely accused Raghav. He was innocent."

" What! Why did she do that?"

"Before the final judgement was passed, the court was adjourned for an hour for lunch break. Raghav approached her and tried to brainwash her by telling that he will marry her only if she proved him innocent.

She did what he said. She was condemned for falsely accusing a honourable person. Honourable? For all the heinous crimes he has committed, he was being called honourable.

Sugandha did this to save her brother from being constantly humiliated. But when Sugandha asked Raghav to marry her, he refused her. Blaming herself for losing the case which could have been easily won, she thought that she was a burden on us.

She did what we never had expected to do. She committed suicide. She was a very strong person. The trauma had caused her to take such a step."

Aryan sighed. Now he understood why Sameera was eager to reopen the case. And why Raghav had killed her. "Where is Hitesh?"
