Deshmukh returned to his work, silently. He was cross as Raghav had chided him for complaining like a small kid. Khan approached him but mentally, he was in a different world.

"What information have you collected?"

Deshmukh looked him as if he had asked him to give one of his kidneys.

"I am asking you once again Inspector. What information have you collected?"

"Sir, I've already informed you that I was in mufti, watching for the attacker to strike again."

Khan leaned back. "That's interesting. Who told you that she'll come again? Your boss, Raghav told?"

"Huh? I am not able to unde-"

"Understand? To understand something, you need to have brains. How can you understand when you don't have one?"

"How dare you talk to me-"

"How dare you, Deshmukh? I'll see to it that your suspension letter is there on your table."

Deshmukh gave one of his typical arrogant smirk and left. Khan turned towards the other officers and addressed, "Tomorrow we've to assess the whole situation properly. This time everyone will be attentive to what I am speaking and the tasks assigned to you. I hate working for a don but my duty is more important."

Streets of Mumbai bursted with life as the rays of sun hit the city. Hitesh had typed the documents required for them to put forth during the case and texted to his wife about the progress. According to Naina's estimation, she thought he would take atleast three to four days to make the things ready. But his bullet train speed had surprised her. She had no idea whether this speed came from starting his career from first or to procure the pendrive from Aryan. Whatever the reason maybe she was happy to see the change in him.

The contents of the video had shocked her, though. Aryan had mentioned that it contained the brutality of Sugandha's rape, solely committed by Raghav. Ranjit had helped him to control her physically but hadn't actively participated in it. As for the two bodyguards, they closed their eyes, not wanting to be eyewitness. After she had fainted out of exhaustion from defending herself, the underworld don confessed everything he had done.

While Aryan had tears narrating the whole incident, he mentioned clearly that he had  watched the entire brutal torture as he was marveled at the proof Sameera had collected. No wonder Raghav wanted to kill her for this information can loosen his firm foothold in the mafia world of Mumbai. Naina could see a slow transition in Hitesh. He was becoming her old husband, gradually.

Sugandha had mentally treated her when she had suffered her first miscarriage. She knew every secrets of her life including the fact that she loved her senior from the same college. Both had met quite a few times and had that instant connect. When he heard what happened with her, he refused to acknowledge her. That particular incident was the first step in shattering her self confidence.

Naina hoped that after Aryan came out of Ranjit murder case, she'll make sure Raghav's punished.

"Rewind it," screamed Khan as he watched the CCTV footage of Race Course that occured on 9th of November; on that fateful day. He and his team started working on the case. They were distributed their part of work. As for Deshmukh, he was transferred to Chiplun with a warning that another report of misbehavior with senior officers and he'll be suspended.

"She has boarded into a red car. Pathak, I want the details of all the red cars travelling on Mumbai Pune Expressway."

"Sir, but how do you know that those cars are travelling to Mumbai?" Pathak asked.

"Look at the number plate on car. It reads MH 04 which means the car is from Thane, Mumbai."

Pathak looked dazzled. Honestly, he was happy to know that he was working with a smart officer and it was his privilege to have got that opportunity. Khan sipped a cup of strong ginger flavoured tea to calm his temples. Within few minutes, they came to know that the same car was spotted on Mumbai Pune Expressway on 6:30 p.m. IST.

He was baffled with this new information. "According to my calculations, she should have left this spot by 12 noon. Where was she for six and half hours? Most importantly, what she was doing till that time in Pune?"
