SHREYA'S POV

1 month has passed and life is going pretty smoothly. He stays with me all the time like a tail. But I am also enjoying his company. He is changing himself. He has started to take medication to get rid of his addiction and he is also working on his anger issues too.

And you know what? unimaginable things have started to happen. I the sleepyhead has started to wake up early and that too without any alarm and he has started to wake up late.

"Wake up," I said while moving out of his grasp.

"I am up," he said while pulling me to his side.

His eyes were close and I turned to face him. I now know why girls drool over him. But he does not give them even a single look even if they are ready to give him everything. He is very loyal. I must say that he is drop-dead handsome. I don't know it is any word for complimenting a man or not but let it be. Don't go on my words focus on my feelings.

I have also started to feel for him, but I haven't confessed it yet. I will but when? Umm....maybe today.

"Are you done adoring your husband?" He asked me with closed eyes.

My jaw dropped. How does he know?

"Once I start I will not stop till the next morning, so it would be better for you to close your mouth," he said and I instantly closed my mouth.

He opened his eyes and gave me his signature smirk. He loves to tease me.

"Won't you wish me morning?" He asked

"No"

I said and stood up freeing myself from his grip. I was able to take only one step when he pulled me to his lap and put his palm on my stomach caressing it lightly.

I immediately put my hand on his to stop him. He does this every day from the last week.

"Why have you started doing this weird thing?" I asked

"Hmm...I just check it is growing big or not" he replied while putting his chin on my shoulder.

"What?" I asked confused

"Yes, this is the place where our baby will stay for 9 months na," he said.

"Are you serious Atharva, you want a baby?"

"Yes,"

"So Mr. Atharva Singhania wants family now. Hahaha" I laughed

"So, what is this so funny in this," he asked seriously.

"As far as I know, you don't like kids"

"But I want one with you," he said pulling my back to his chest.

"But I cannot handle two kids at a time," I said

"Two? No, I just want one"

"Hey, you stupid I am talking about you, "

"So after all those nights, I still need to show you how much man I am?"

Jeez...I got trapped in my own words.

Actually, that was a bet, he said that life is so fucked up that one day I will also start to abuse.

I am so much ticklish that I start to dance if someone points their finger to my stomach.

I took deep breaths.

He put his forehead on mine.

"You know we are getting late," I said pushing him.

"You know I am the owner of the company and you are my wife. No one is going to say anything"

"Owner of the company" I mocked him.

"Yes, the billionaire," he said proudly

"Billionaire my foot. What kind of billionaire are you? The one who has never let his wife out after marriage except to the office"

"Ooo, so my wife wants to go out?" He chuckled.

"Yes"

"Tell me where do you want to go?"

I got excited and pushed him from me. He looked at me surprised.

"Ok, so let's go for the movie first and then for shopping and then to my parent's house," I said with excitement in my eyes.

He started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I thought you will ask for a trip to abroad or places like Manali"

"Yes, we will go there too but for now I want to watch a movie," I said

"As you say biwiji"

I smiled and stood up.

"Move fast and get ready," I said

"Don't you think that we should be concerned about this planet?" He asked me

"Huh?"

"I mean that you know I can join you in the bathroom. This will save the water" he said

"Just shut up"

I said and ran to the bathroom. I got ready by wearing a mustard yellow top with solid grey culottes.

I got ready in 10 minutes with very light makeup and left my hair open. I went down to wait for him in the hall.

He was taking too much time. I went up to our room. In our case, it is just the opposite. He takes more time than me in getting ready.

"ATHARVA!" I screamed and he got startled.

He questioned me 'what' with his eyes.

"You know we are going for a movie and not for your boring meeting"

He was in his white shirt and a black coat was lying on the bed like he was going to wear it.

"Hmm...so what?"

"Are you serious man. You are not going to wear this"

"Why? Are you afraid that all the girls will fall for me?" He said

"Ouch!" he put his hand on his heart dramatically

Yes, I have started to order him a lot. That does not mean that he doesn't order me.

"But what should I wear?" He asked me.

"You are such a boring, dumb-headed person in case of fashion. I have to work a lot on you," I said and he chuckled.

"Wait a minute. I will bring something for you"

I walked towards his closet, opened it, and entered in. I was searching for some casual t-shirts when my eyes caught a shelf named as 'Precious'.

I opened it and was surprised by looking at the thing that was kept secured on that shelf.

That was the same photo that we clicked in Mumbai. In which I have to fall back and he has to catch me. A laugh escaped my mouth when I saw my scared face. My one eye was closed and one was open and there were so many lines on my forehead. At that time he was nothing to me more than an arrogant, chauvinistic, and self-centered man.

He snatched that photo frame from me saying that he had paid for it so he will keep it. And no doubt he has kept it with so much care.

"Aren't we getting late now?" He screamed from outside.

I put that photo frame back to its place with care. And took a simple black colored t-shirt for him. He took it and without questioning just wore it. We went down.

"We will be back at night. Take care of house Madhu" he said

I looked at his side in anger.

"A..Aunty" he completed his sentence and I smiled.

Yes, I have threatened him that I will call him kukkad in public if he calls masi by her name. But I still call him kukkad in private. Hehe.

He hate his new name. Is it so bad?

Don't know why but for today he decided to take the driver with us. We took the back seat.

"Let us eat something first," he said because we haven't had our breakfast.

"Ok"

"But can you please, stop at the temple. It will be on the way" I said.

"No!" I knew it he will never say yes this easily.

"Please" I hold his arm.

He looked at my side

"Pretty please," I said with a puppy face.

"Ok"

"Thank you," I said in excitement.

"But don't you even think that I will accompany you"

"Why?"

"No whys and whats. This is the final"

"That day will come soon when you yourself will go to the temple. Just wait and watch." I said

He twitched his lips and look straight. Like he was saying that it will never happen.

"You know what? Besides that temple there is a stall of Pani Puri. They are the world's best pani puri. I haven't ate pani puri for a long time. We will eat them" I said to break the silence.

"NO! NEVER! We will go to a proper restaurant to eat. I cannot eat roadside food. And I don't allow you too. You know they don't even wash their hands"

"I will eat and you cannot stop me like this"

"In this way, you will lose the chance of going to the temple too. The choice is yours temple or nothing" he said

"Kukkad!"

"Call me anything but I am not going to allow that"

"I don't know what is your problem. Why don't you try to change yourself? Please, come out of your box. See the things in a different way. Enjoy your life! You will definitely love it. And I am telling you, you are missing the world's best thing by not eating street food. They taste like heaven."

He pushed my nose.

"What was that for?" I asked all furious.

"You always wake up whenever I push your nose so I thought to push it to stop your nonstop tape recorder"

The driver chuckles hearing him.

I was so so angry. How dare he!

"You know the way you talks the job of a radio jockey is best for you," he said

I was angry beyond limits.

"Ok, so from now onwards I will not utter even a single word to you. I will go silent and you will beg me to talk to you"

I looked out of the window folding my hands in anger.

After a minute he tapped my shoulder but I jerked his hand.

"Butterfly, listen"

I shifted to show my back to him.

"Ok, sorry. I didn't mean that"

Did he said sorry?

No, Shreya you can not melt like this. He was very rude to you.

"Butterfly, "

He said and grabbed my waist. At the same time, the car stopped in front of the temple. I removed his hand and crossed the road.

I took 10 minutes in the temple and returned. When I was on the stairs I saw the stall of Pani Puri but with a heavy heart, I ignored it.

I looked up and he was waiting for me in the car. I stepped ahead to cross the road. When I was in the middle of the road a car came towards me. The driver was driving at a very high speed and then that car crashed into me. All this happened so fast that I was not able to comprehend things and take action.

My body was off the floor and in a second I was on the road and my head collided with it in full force. It started to feel heavy and wet below my forehead and slowly everything became black.

The last thing I heard was his voice that was screaming my name.
