SHREYA'S POV

It is Wednesday today and it is been 5 days since that incident happened.

The thing told by that girl in the mall is roaming in my mind from that day. She told me that he forced himself on her and when she refused to do that he fired her. I didn't believe her at that time but now I think that she was saying right.

I have not been to the office from that day. After that incident, I don't want to face him. I didn't even write the anything to take leave telling them that I am not well neither I got any mail or message from that side.

I don't know what to do next. I was just sleeping in these days and they were the best days of my life since I have joined his office.

I was now feeling well, the temperature is normal. I have just a little bit of cold.

My stomach churned. I want food. I dragged myself to the bathroom did my business and went down to have lunch because the time of breakfast has long gone.

I was getting frustrated partly because I was sick and partly because I was caged in my house for 5 damn days. So I decided to go and see the science fete and appreciate the young talent. I have a keen interest in innovations and getting knowledge of how things work.

"Ok Mumma, I am full and I am going out. I will be back in a few hours" I told her

"Don't go out today" she said

"Why?"

"I don't know I am getting weird feelings. It looks like something bad is going to happen" she said

I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Everything is fine Mumma. I will be back in a few hours. Don't worry and don't think too much just keep yourself busy in your boring serials. Hehe"

I hugged her.

I took my scooty and started my journey. I was only 1 km away from my destiny when I got a call. I took my scooty aside and take the phone out of my jeans pocket. The call was from Papa.

"Yes papa"

"Hello, is this chuiya speaking?" A person asked. The voice was unknown.

"Who?"

"Umm...actually I have called you just to inform you that this phone's owner has met with an accident. I have brought him to the city hospital. Your number was on the top of his favorite list that's why I called you. Please come here ASAP" he said and I got panicked

I restarted the scooty and rotated the accelerator. Generally, I do not drive at the speed of more than 40km/hour no matter how late I am getting but this time I was driving over 60km/hour.

I reached there and saw my father lying on the stretcher. He was bathing in blood. Tears rolled down my cheeks by looking at him in this condition.

"They are not letting him in as they are asking for money before starting the operation," the man said. He was the same man who brought my father here.

"Th..thankyou for your help" I thanked him. He nodded and left by handing over my father's phone.

I went to the reception area and asked them to admit my father. But they refused.

"What? Why can't you take him in?" I asked

"You have to submit 15,000 first," she said

"Are you serious man. That man is fighting for his life and you are asking for money" I said

"This is rule ma'am. We can't do anything. Do it ASAP" she said

I don't have that much money here and I can't call Mumma too. She will get tensed.

Whom should I call now?

Ansh bhaiya. I called him

"Hello, bhaiya please come to the city hospital ASAP. Please bring some cash or a credit card or anything. Please do it fast" I said

Until then I decided to fill the form and complete all the formalities. My tears were not stopping.

He arrived in 15 minutes and made the payment. Hospital staff took him into the ICU and doctors started there work.

I was just roaming here and there in front of ICU when Ansh bhaiya was talking to the police.

I went to them.

"This is a police case as this was a planned accident. My constables were present there so they caught the man who hitted his scooter. That man was fast but not than us. He told the truth in just two slaps that Mr. Atharva Singhania the owner of Singhania Corporations have given him money to do this" the police informed

The ground below me slipped and my head started to spin.

Is he taking the revenge of that slap?

The doctor came out of the ICU.

"What happened?" I asked him

"We are trying our best. He is in a critical condition. There is too much of blood loss. Doctors currently present here have said no to take the case. We have called our senior Dr. but he is too handling emergency cases and it will take him at least one to two hours to reach there. We cannot say that he would be able to make it till then or not because there are some internal injuries too. So it would be better than if you could call some senior doctors if you have sources or make arrangement to shift him to some other hospital" he said

I was blank. Completely blank. My vision becomes white. I was about to fall back but Ansh bhaiya caught me.

"And yes please arrange blood too". He added

"You don't worry bacha. I will reach out to my contacts. He will be alright" he assured me

But I know this is not possible to shift him and start his treatment within one hour.

He started calling people but nothing was going right.

I was just sitting on a bench silently looking down at the floor. My legs and hands were shaking. I was completely blank at that moment. I just did what I felt right.

"Where are you going?" Bhaiya asked

"To save my father" I replied and left the hospital.

I took a taxi because I was not in a position to drive. And I cannot take the risk.

"Please move fast," I said to the taxi driver

I was moving my body back and forth out of nervousness. I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were blood red and puffed up due to crying. My cheeks were drenched in tears and my lips were swollen too. I can handle physical pain but I am very weak emotionally and especially when it comes to my loved ones.

The taxi suddenly stopped. I looked outside and there was traffic on the road.

Dammit!

I left the taxi and started to run for my destination as it was not too much far from there.

The moment I reached there I was bathing in sweat but I don't care.

I was about to enter when a girl restrained me.

"Sorry ma'am you cannot go in," she said

"Who are you to tell me?" I asked in anger

"Very important meeting is going on and it is the strict orders from the boss that no one should interrupt during the meeting," she said

"HELL TO DO WITH YOUR BOSS AND HIS ORDERS!" I screamed with all my strength.

I pushed the door with one hand and it got opened with a loud thud. Everyone turned to look at me. The devil was sitting exactly in front of me.

He looked at me and got a little shocked.

"I want to talk to you RIGHT NOW!" I screamed again

"We will resume the meeting some other day. For now, just leave the cabin" he ordered and everyone started to leave.

I waited for everyone to leave.

"I am ready to sign those papers," I said when everyone was out.

His eyebrows knitted and he was looking a little confused and concerned.

"Don't be so innocent that you are definitely not. This is what exactly you wanted na. That's why you did all this" I said

He moved to my side but remained silent

"The man that you hired for my father's accident has told the police the truth that you have paid him a huge amount for that accident," I said

"Ooooooo" he said by making his lips O shaped and moving his eyebrows up. And then gave me his devilish smirk.

There was not even 1% guilt in his eyes. They were just blank and black, like always very difficult to read.

"I never thought even in my worst nightmare that you could steep so low. But whom I am talking to. How could that person spare my father when he has murdered his own father"

He minimized his eyes a little and gritted his teeth.

"Don't give me that look. My father is fighting for his life. I am here just to tell you that just do something dammit. He doesn't have even one hour. Call a doctor and save his life. I am giving you my life in return but don't you dare to harm my loved ones ever again" I said

He immediately called a doctor and told him the details of the ward number and patient after asking it from me.

"Go there ASAP. I want him alive at any cost!" He ordered on the phone and cut the call.

He took the papers out of his desk.

"Let me sign them first because you tore the old one," he said and took a pen.

My heart was sinking and I was just controlling my tears anyhow because I don't want to show him that.

"With this, I promise that your eyes will never have tears again," he said while signing the papers.

He passed the paper and pen to me. My hands were trembling.

I took the pen in between my fingers with shaking hands.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"With this, I promise that I will make you cry like never before," I said while signing the papers

And one tear rolled from my eyes and dropped in between our signatures.

He came to me took my face in between his palms, looked into my eyes, and rubbed the tears with his thumbs.

"Congratulations biwiji (wifey). Time to announce our marriage to the world" he said

"Forced marriage" I corrected him and he chuckled

"From today till my last breath for me, you are my Queen," he said looking at me and promising me with his eyes.

"But for me, you will always remain my Beast," I said promising him.

I don't like to put the limits (but I am happy that you hit the target only in one hour lol) but in the last chapter, I said this to get some time to study because my online courses are literally begging me to open and resume them and because of your love I am ignoring their notifications. But I fall ill and neither I was able to update any chapter nor was able to study 😑.
