Shreya's POV

I decided to leave the job because in no condition I can work under him. I know that I will go unemployed for my life because of breaching the contract but it is a lot better than working under a criminal.

I typed my resignation letter and sent it to the concerned authority.

I am alone at home because Mumma Papa has gone to Mathura yesterday to attend the wedding of one of my cousins. They asked me to go along but I refused thinking that he will not give me leave and now I regret that. It would be better if I was in Mathura then facing yesterday's scene.

'Love you Zindagi, love you Zindagi'

I really need to change my ringtone because right now I am not loving you Zindagi.

"Hello"

"Hello, Shreya"

"Yes, Rahul?" He was sounding tensed.

"Can you please come down. I am at your home's door" he said in a very low tone.

What happened to him?

"Coming"

I went down and opened the door.
He was standing there. His shoulders were bent head was down. He was looking depressed.

"What happened Rahul?" I put my hand on his shoulder.

The thing he told me increased my hatred towards that person even more if possible.

Atharva's POV

The moment I got that she has come to know about me I was damn sure that now this game is going to be tough. She will not sign these papers easily.

The thing that I have come to know about her is that she is a strong lady. She will not bend so easily. But my name is Atharva Singhania. I get what I want and I will get her too. I will do anything, anything to make that happen.

I felt a little bad that she hates me for what I am but I don't care because I like her and I want her and that is enough for her to sign the papers. It is not a big deal if she hates me too because everyone hates me.

Now it would be easy for me too to play in this game with my real face. I don't have to pretend anything in front of her.

When she left the office I knew that she will pull some scenes. I ordered one of my men to follow her to know what she is going to do now.

My man informed me that she has accepted the marriage proposal of Rahul.

Wrong move butterfly, very wrong move.

And don't think that this action of yours will go unpunished. Along with you, that boy is going to get punishment and this time because of you.

I have to remove him from my way. It would be better for him if he accepts my point in an easy way otherwise I know how to make my point clear by the hard way too.

So I started with my plan and I know that I will be successful because I have targeted his most sensitive point - HIS SISTER

Rahul's POV

I was searching for a job but I am not getting one. It is getting irritating now.

"Reema hasn't returned from the college yet. It is 1 hour more than the usual time" my mother informed me.

"What? Have you called her?" I asked

"Yes, it is switched off," she said

"Ok Ma, you don't worry. I will see it" I said to her to make her relax

I took my phone to go out and search for her when my eyes fall on the message. That was sent to me half an hour ago. I clicked on it.

'If you want your sister to be safe come at the address given below. There is no need to call the police because it is of no use you won't get anything but you will surely lose your sister'

I panicked by reading the message. Who can be this? I don't have any enemy and why this kidnapper didn't ask for money.

Without wasting further time I left for the place mentioned in the message. When I reached there were two men who guided me in. I went in and found the least expected man sitting there.

'Mr. Atharva Singhania'

I was shocked and was not able to move.

"Sit," he said

He was looking at the gun that he was holding in his hand. The gun was shining like a diamond and he started to roam his fingers on it. He was looking scary.

"Wh.....whe...where is Reema?" I asked collecting enough courage.

"Don't worry she is safe" he said

He put his elbows on his knees and continued

"And will be safe only if you do as I am saying"

"Wh..what?" I asked

"Stay away from her!" he said

I was looking at him dumbfounded because I was not able to get him.

He stands and started to take round around me.

"Stay away from my butterfly" he came in front of me bend to my height

"My Shreya," he said in a threatening tone and my eyes became wide.

"Shreya?" Her name left my mouth.

"Yes, you have one hour to think and decide. You want your sister alive or not" he said standing straight and then again continued.

"Just put this thing out of your mind that anyhow you are going to get Shreya. She is just mine. And for me, you are just a mosquito whom I can squeeze anytime. I just want you out of my way only because I don't want that anyone gets her attention other than me." He said

'He cannot claim her like this. She is not his property'. I thought but was not able to say this to him.

He went back to his couch and sat like a king
"Don't worry boy. I have an offer for you. I will provide you a job abroad. But my condition is that you will never ever look back to this country and never ever try to contact her in anyway" he said

I was not able to form any words. My heart was shattered into pieces. Neither I can leave my beloved family nor Shreya. I love Shreya at the same level as I loves my family.

I moistened my lips to say something but no words came out of my mouth.

"Don't think too much you have just one hour to decide and tell me your decision. It would be good if you accept the offer or trust me your loss will be huge. Because you are not going to get her at least until I am alive and you will lose your family too. I will bring you on the road and no one will give you even a penny. I am sure that you know what I am capable of doing." He said and looked into his watch and said

"But why are you doing this to me?" Finally, I was able to say a full line without stuttering

"Because you have committed the biggest mistake of your life by proposing her and that too in front me," he said

He was present there?

This man is not good for her. I cannot leave her alone with this devil.

"Only this much sweet I can be with you. You should be thankfull that I haven't done anything wrong". He said, looked into his wrist watch and continued

"Now, I don't have time to waste on you. Your time starts now"

He took the gun in his hand

"And you know that I don't like to wait even for one minute," he said and I left the place and went to Shreya.

Shreya's POV

"What happened Rahul?" I put my hand on his shoulder.

"I am sorry Shreya, but I cannot marry you," He said looking down

"What? But why? You yourself asked me for that" I said

"Yes, Shreya and I still want to marry you but my bad luck is that I cannot," he said not looking up

"Will you tell me what happened?" I asked

"Actually, Mr. Singhania has kid... kidnapped my sister," He said looking up, his eyes were filled with tears.

"What?" I was shocked beyond words

"Yes, and he is saying me to leave you and this country if I want my family safe," he said trying to resist his tears.

Something inside me broke. I felt a pain in my heart. How can this man be so cruel?

"Let's go to the Police Station. We can file FIR against him," I said

"It is of no use. It will create more problems in our lives. He will not give a second thought in killing my sister. He is not what he shows to you Shreya" He said

"But, but I don't want to leave you too Shreya, I am not getting what should I do now," he added.

"Just go and fulfill your duty towards your sister" I gave him a little smile.

"But you? He...he" he was not able to say anything because his emotions were chocking him.

"Don't worry Rahul he cannot harm me" I assured him when I myself is not sure.

"But I am not going to accept his offer of going abroad. I can not leave my beloved country, I cannot leave you with that devil" he said

"You yourself said Rahul about how cruel he is. He will make your life a living hell. Just go ahead. A new life is waiting for you. You will get a better girl than me. All the best for your future" I patted his shoulder

"I will miss you" he said

"I will miss you too"

"Please take care of yourself Shreya," he said and I nodded.

With this, he left and I closed the door.

I hate this man from the bottom of my heart. I will never let him succeed in his intentions.

My phone ping.

I opened it, it was a mail from the company saying that if I want to leave the job then I have to pay 50 lacs for breaching the contract.

Oh, God!! From where will I bring this much money.

Oh ooo... The delivery boy got late so the gift from Shreya will be given to Atharva in the next chapter!!
