Bella's PoV

"Mm..it's so delicious, Grace." I moaned eating the pancakes as it hit my taste buds. I was really hungry so I quickly take a short bath and get ready before coming downstairs. Everyone was already there eating and laughing something. Grace was serving spaghetti and pancakes.

"I'm glad you loved it, darling." She said smiling and I blew a kiss. It's a been two weeks since I started living here. At first it was difficult but as time passes everyone started mingling with me. I thought after knowing the truth they will see me as a gold digger but they were so sweet to me. Melissa and I become more close friends as we stayed all day watching TV shows or playing X box. Steve and Antonio are pain in ass but they are also supporting. And about Damon well I think I like that guy. Goodness, he's so sweet. We spend some time watching Netflix and he gave me a tour of this mansion.

One thing I know that they are like family, more than that. Grace taught me some of Italian dishes and I love learning from her. She's such a sweetheart. She's so caring, she didn't let me sleep without filling my stomach. She loves me like her own and I started loving her.

"What are you thinking, flower?" Damon asked once he noticed I wasn't eating. I didn't know why he call me flower. When I asked him he said I'm beautiful like flower and I couldn't help but blush. I smiled at him before digging in my food.

"Nothing, where's he?" I asked and as if on cue the devil walked out of his office looking angry and left for upstairs.

"As you can see!" Damon sighed rubbing his forehead. He's been in tension for few days and when I asked him about it, he just said business. I didn't pressure much.

"Why is he behaving like a pregnant woman?" I asked and everyone burst into laughter.

"Pregnant?" Steve laughed clutching his stomach. I glared at him. It isn't funny.

"He would be mad if he heard you." Melissa laughed.

"I am serious. He's behaving like a jerk. Why is he ignoring us?" I snapped frustratedly. Damon look taken aback but didn't said anything. Something is off between them.

He's been ignoring us like we didn't even exist. Whenever I tried to talk, he ignores me or just yelled at me. I should be mad at him for yelling at me but instead I'm worried for him. I don't know what had gotten into me. I don't know what had happened. It's been a week since that kiss accident and later that day he was good with me. He even took me to shopping and we really enjoyed it. But everything changed when he return back to Norway and since that day he's behaving like an asshole.

Oh wait! He was asshole from the day one.

"Fine. I'm going to talk to him." I said and stood up. Every eyes snapped at me and they look at me like I'm some kind of ghost.

"Are you serious?" Damon asked.

"Do I look like a joker?" I asked annoyingly.

"Listen, flower I know you are worried for him but give him some time, okay?" He said and I couldn't help but nodded my head.

After lunch, we all get back to our work. Grace and Melissa left to meet their sick aunt and will return in tomorrow morning. Damon already left for somewhere. I just sat in my room watching Netflix. My eyes felt heavy and I didn't know when I slept.

My eyes shot open when I heard some crashing sounds. I sat up rubbing my eyes when I heard another sound. I look at the clock and it's seven in the evening. When I make my way out of my room I saw the voice was coming from Pearl's office and the lights were on.

I saw Antonio and walked towards him, when he saw me he smiled but his smile didn't reach his eyes.

"What's that sound?" I asked to him and he looked worried.

"I don't think you should go in there right now." He said when I started moving towards his office. I look at him confused. When he didn't say anything I started walking.

And when I reached Pearl's office I understood what he meant. I was in utter shock seeing him like this. I have never seen him like this.

And this was the first time I was scared of Pearl.

He was destroying his whole office. Breaking everything that came into his eyeshot. He was on a rampage.

His face was red with rage. The veins of his neck were popping out as he smashed his chair on the glass counter of his bar, breaking it in millions of pieces.

I gasped.

Damon and Steve moved to the furthest of a corner to conserve them from getting hurt. But Pearl didn't care if he got hurt, he was blinded by rage. Steve was hiding behind Damon who stood there with a straight face.

Seconds later, Steve scurried out of the office.

"Bella?" He looked surprised. "When did you get here?" His eyes widen.

I ignored his question while keeping my eyes on Pearl. "What happened to him? Why is he behaving like that?" I asked, at the same time flinched as another loud noise came out of the office.

Steve shook his head, "Big shit had spilled on his life, Bella. He is -he is not accepting it in a good way."

Yeah, that's very much visible.

"What happened?" I bit my lip, wanting to know why he is so much in distress.

"It's not my place to say." He gave me a sad smile

Even Steve was in a serious mood today. This must be something very bad.

Damon strode out too, muttering something under his breath. He gave a weak smile when he saw me and stood next to Steve. Antonio was also there looking worried. Thank god Grace and Melissa isn't here, otherwise they would be freak out.

I frowned. "Why aren't you guys stopping him? He can get hurt."

They shook their heads simultaneously.
"He won't stop today. And it wouldn't be wise to go near him right now. He can be very- dangerous."

"That's bullshit!" Just because he was mad doesn't mean we will leave him alone where he can hurt himself. "I know he is mad right now but we can't just leave him alone. He needs us!"

"Bella, I know him. He throws this fit sometimes, well not often. This is the first time in years. And in times like this, only a fool would want to go close to him. It's like going near a raging bull." Damon shooks his head. "And trust me, I'm saying this from my past experience."

I know the way Pearl is going on, anyone would be afraid. And even I wasn't different from others. But.. I can't just leave him alone. He needs to be tamed. He needs me.

So taking a deep breath, I approached the door.
