Chapter 6 - Celia

I slowly moved my feet. Every part of my being was willing me to stop. I walked steadily. My bones ached, my mind weakening. I sat down on the floor and wrapped my legs around the post.

"Beautiful." The camera flashed. I turned and glared into the camera. My hair was fanned out around my head like a blonde beacon.

I raised my hips slightly and my abs contracted. I sat up and wrapped my hands around my feet. My chest heaved as I let the emotion drain from my eyes. From my mind. This was my job. Look beautiful. Be perfect.

I looked at the men surrounding me. The flashing cameras and the hustle of the makeup crew. Lights, flashing, and darkness.

I stood. "Lovely job Celia. Get in position for the next shot." My manager smiled.

"Will do." I nodded and walked to the dressing room.

"Did you hear about the new photographer?" My makeup girls twittered.

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked as I sat and they began to reconstruct my face.

"You know the Photographer who made it big about a year ago. The one everyone wants to do a shoot with?"

My heart dropped to my stomach as I raked through my brain. No. It couldn't be Jordan. It had to be someone else.

"CELIA!" a shrill voice sounded.

"I need to get out there." I stood and ran out. The sports bra and tight shorts were constricting my already bleeding heart and my breathing was erratic.

I stopped when I saw him. He was here. Tall. Handsome. Just the way I remembered him. He had filled out. He was even more handsome then before.

Taking in a deep breath, I made my face a mask. I strode out and looked around the room in contempt.

"Ah, my dear." The manager of this shoot was rather handsy for my taste. Jordan was looking through his camera and setting things up, so I was safe for now.

"Hello Henri." I smiled and kissed his cheeks. The balding man gave me a grin and tucked his fingers under my chin.

"You look even more lovely then I remember." His smiled was sending creepy shivers down my spine.

I was dripping wet and my hair was teased and stringy. The makeup they did was dewy and fresh, making me look like I had been working out for a while. I smiled and fed him what he wanted. "Why thank you."

He released me when we reached the set and then another man helped me into the wrestling cage. I smiled and thanked him. I grabbed a some wraps and held them waiting for direction.

Jordan looked up and caught my eyes. His face was unreadable. I kept my gaze on him. My glare of contempt must have hit him square in the heart, because he ducked his head.

"Okay, Celia." He looked back at me. "I want you to be wrapping your hands. Be in half wrap. Look at the wall and glare. Then look down at your hands."

I did as he told me. Every muscle in my body rippled. My abs flexed and my biceps curled. It was my job to look beautiful and I took it seriously.

I glared at the wall and then at the camera. He walked around me snapping pictures. I watched the wall, never sparing him a glance.

Every move he made me do, every outfit I came out in, I could feel his eyes. He was drinking me in. Seeing what he had lost.

When I had first come into the spot light, I was dating an actor. We were very vocal about our relationship and when things cooled, the world watched. When we broke up, I was open. Never once did I hide, it wasn't me. My fans loved me for that  fact, but those who didn't like me, they couldn't stand it. I watched my body change before my eyes.

My mind was shutting down and shutting him out. I smirked. My next shot was in the water. I sunk down. Laying at the bottom of the pool, my eyes opened and found his. He could see the pain in them. He knew. He had to.

When the day wrapped, I left as quickly as possible.

Storming into my apartment, I dropped my Louis Vitton purse on the table. I ran into my room and collapsed beside my bed.

My phone was ringing, but my will was gone. I couldn't move. I was paralyzed. Reaching out slowly, I grabbed the ringing Iphone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Celia." A male voice rang through my head.

"Daniel." I whispered.

"How are you?"

"Not so good." I sniffed.

"I know. He texted me." He responded. "Please don't do anything dumb."

"I won't. I am a grown woman, I can handle myself." I was becoming tired of being treated as a child. There were hundreds of men who threw themselves at me. Hundreds who begged me to be theirs even if it was for one night. "I am an adult."

"I know. Just please." He begged.

I stood. "I can't do it any more."

"What?"

"Being alone. I am alone. All the time." I sighed.

"Celia listen to me-"

"No Daniel, you listen to me." I yelled. "I have been alone ever since he left me. Ever since he decided he was too good for me. You hear that? Too good for me?" I laughed. "Now look at me. I am even more successful then him. I can't do it any more. You and Tiff have each other. I-I have no one." I cried. "I am alone." I sobbed and walked to my closet. I grabbed a tight dress and slunk into it. "Now, I am going to go. I need to do something."

"Celia, wait, don't hang up."

"Bye. I'll call you and Tiff in the morning."

I hung up and grabbed my Louboutins. I walked out to the curb and hailed a cab.

"Where to miss?" The man looked at me.

"1 Oak." I smiled at him.

"Of course miss."

We sped off and I looked out the window. My head was spinning. Maybe I would find someone tonight. Maybe not, but any way I needed to get out.

I dialed a number. The phone rang and then someone picked up. "Ce?"

"Hey Shawn." I smiled. "Wanna meet me at 1 Oak?"

"Sure, I am in town."

"OK." I looked at my long nails.

"Celia?" He asked. "Are you okay?"

"Not really." I whispered. "I just need someone."

"I'll see you there baby girl." His voice was giving me shivers. "Okay?"

"Okay."

"Bye darling."

"Bye."

"Miss." The driver stopped. "We are here."

"Thank you." I smiled. I handed him a one hundred dollar bill. I got out and shut the door. I walked to the bouncer.

"Miss Celia."  He smiled.

"Hey Jack." I nodded at the security.

"You can head in. Your table is open."

"Thank you doll." I reached up and pressed a kiss to his cheek. The older man smiled and opened the door.

My tight crimson dress was cut short and plunging. I knew how to get attention if I wanted it. My crimson stained lips and black lashes made my pale skin glow. I sat down at the table and a friendly waiter walked over. I smiled up at him and he returned immediately with my cocktail. I sent him a flirty smile and he blushed. I took a sip of my cocktail and hummed. My hair was framing my face beautifully and I could feel most of the men's eyes on me. I noticed one man in particular. He smiled at me. I looked away and glanced back and my phone.

"Celia?" A tall handsome man filled my vision. I stood and wrapped him in a hug.

"Hi Shawn."
