Chapter 4-Jordan

I knew something was off. She was different somehow. Her fire. Her light. It was gone. In its place was a darkness. She was fighting for her life. I could see. I could feel.

"Jordan." Her gentle hands trailed down my back and her big blue eyes looked at me in admiration.

I smiled up at her and held her hand in mine. "Yeah baby?" I whispered. She leaned down and pressed a kiss on my forehead.

"When will you come with me?" She asked. I watched her move away from my desk. A strand of her thick golden hair brushed her cheek. Her dainty fingers brushed it aside as she looked at my computer.

"I don't know how much more time this will take." I tried to point out.

"But, you promised to come hold me." She pouted. I smirked and took the chance at kissing her perfectly plump lips.

"And I will." I sighed. "I promise."

She smiled and moved away from my desk. I watched her as she walked away from the room. Her muscles were her gift, even though she saw them as weight. Her lovely arms, were sculpted from marble, her legs, strong and steady, were pillars of well defined muscle. I loved ever piece of that lovely, destructive form.

Her hands were balanced on her waist as she threw her head back and laughed at something someone said on the TV.

I turned my computer off and walked over to her. She smiled up at me and held her arms open. I wrapped my legs up in hers and pulled her in tight against my chest. I pressed a kiss to her temple and she laced her fingers through mine.

I smiled and she slowly drifted off into dreams. Her sleeves had risen above her wrists and I looked down at them. A scar ran down her arm, stopping at the vein. I kissed the mark tenderly. She had told me about the eating problems, the cutting, the attempts to kill herself.

I knew she needed me. More than ever.

"JORDAN!" A banging on the door woke me from my slumber. My one morning to sleep in, of course was disrupted by my sister. And she had ruined such a good dream.

"What!" I yelled. My chest was covered in sweat. I knew she was hiding something. She had to have been.

"I need to come in." Emerald answered.

"Fine hold on." I grumbled and pulled on a shirt. I ran my hand through my hair. "Okay come on."

The door opened and my sister, wearing a shaken expression walked in. "What's up?" I asked. She looked at me and motioned for me to come with her. I stood confused. "Em, what is wrong."

"Just come here." She walked to the bathroom.

I followed. I turned the corner and was met with an unconscious Celia on the floor. "What happened?" I knelt beside her and checked her pulse.

"I don't know. She was fine last night. I just woke up to use the bathroom and she was here." Emerald explained crying.

"Okay, okay." I whispered. I gently gathered the limp form of Celia in my arms. "Where is mom?"

"She is at the store and dad is out of town."

"Okay." I laid the girl on my bed. "Here get her some water." I nodded towards the door. She ran for the door, and I looked down at Celia. Her beautiful eyes were shut and her lovely features were relaxed. "Ce, you need to wake up hunny." I begged. "Come on Celia," I slowly leaned down and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Please, wake up."

"I have water." Emerald ran back in. I took it from her and gently sprinkled some on Celia. She coughed a bit and then opened her eyes.

"Jordan?" She looked at me confused. "What happened?"

Emerald grabbed Celia's hand and I caught the girl up in my arms. "You fainted."

"I did?" She looked around confused. "How come?"

"Have you been eating?"

"Not really." She looked down at the ground.

Emerald looked at the two of us as I looked down at Celia. She looked at Emerald and then slowly hung her head. "I am sorry. I should have known this would happen." She began to cry.

"Shh." I tried to calm her. Emerald ran her fingers through Celia hair. "You are going to be okay." I promised. "We will figure this out." She nodded and I looked at Emerald. "No one can know." I mouthed.

Emerald nodded. "I know." She mouthed back.

Celia slumped against me and I pushed her back in the bed. Emerald stayed with her until she was able to walk, then we fed her, and made sure she ate it all. I smiled as she reached out for me to carry her to the chair. I gladly lifted her and held her.

"Wait, so I have a question." Emerald asked as she sat next to Celia.

"Yeah?" I wrinkled my brow.

"Do you two have a thing for each other?"
