Chapter 12- Celia
I roared into Tiffany's drive. She ran and got in my car. "Hey girly."
"Hey babe." I grinned and the door swooped down to close us into the car. "You ready?"
"Yes." She giggled.
"OK, I made reservations at steak house."
"Perfect." She smiled. "So, how are you holding up?"
I looked at the road and turned on my blinker. "I'm doing better than I was when I first moved out and back to LA."
She nodded. "Have you seen him?"
"Yeah." I sighed. My ex Boyfriend, actor Sebastian Stan, and I had broken things off after dating for over two years. We had decided we were better off as friends, and we were still very close. "I am just hoping Shawn and I last. I really really like him." I took another turn and my car jumped to full speed. "I've been friends with him for as long as I've been in LA."
"I know. I think you two are cute." She smiled. "And it is probably better that you are being more cautious."
"Yeah." I sighed again. "Anyways. Enough about me. How about you and Daniel?"
She blushed. "He is too sweet to me. You know how he took me out the other night?"
"Yeah."
"Well, he just wanted to talk about how much he cares about me, and how much he loves the idea of me being his wife." She turned red. "I can't believe I found him."
"He is in love with you, girly." I smirked. "Don't let anyone tell you differently."
"I am not." She smiled. "I just can't believe this."
"Yeah, well believe it." I laughed as she leaned over and smacked my arm.
"Celia, knock it off." She giggled.
"Fine." I smirked and we pulled into the expensive restaurant. The doors to the golden Lamborghini rose, and we stepped out.
"Ladies." The valet smiled and I handed him my keys.
"Thank you." I nodded at him.
The rest of the Valet drivers eyes were glued to the flashy car and to me and Tiffany. We strode in and I slid right up to the host's stand.
"Hi." I flashed my winning smile and the man's eyes widened slightly. "I have a reservation for 2. Under Bane."
"Of course, right this way Miss Bane." He nodded to Tiffany and me, before turning and walking towards a table set aside.
We sat and I thanked him. He left and I picked up the drink menu. "Order what ever you wise. I'm paying." I smirked.
"Celia, stop." Tiffany grabbed my arm. "I got myself."
"Tiffany. I told you I was taking you out. Which means I'm buying." I looked at her squarely. "I don't care what you say."
The waiter came by. "Hello Ladies, I am William, I will be your waiter this evening."
"Hello." I smiled up at him.
"What can I get you to drink?"
"We will do a bottle of your Pinot Noir." My eyes followed him.
"All right." He smiled down at me and nodded. "Anything else right now?"
"Not yet." I nodded and gave him a cute smile. He blushed and left.
"Celia, you flirt."
"Aw Tiff, its apart of my job." I grinned. "You know I can't help it."
"Ce, you need to remember you are taken." She shook her head.
"He is a boy." I smirked.
"He is like maybe a year younger than you."
"Fine." I laughed. "I will refrain."
"Thank you." She laughed with me.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked her as the bottle appeared and he poured the drinks. "Can we have one more minute?"
"Of course Miss Bane."
"Call me Celia." I gave him a smirk and he left.
"You are so bad." She shook her head grinning. She picked up her glass and swirled the velvet wine.
Tipping my head, back I took a sip. The smooth liquid ran down my throat and I sighed in contentment.
"I wanted to ask you about the wedding." She looked down at her manicured nails.
"Yes?"
She took in a deep breath. "Do you think its smart to be getting married in Maui?"
I looked at her. "Maybe, I guess it depends."
"On?"
The waiter returned and we put in our orders. I sighed and looked back at her.
"Well, I mean, is this what you want?"
"Yes." She nodded. "I just don't know how economical it is?"
"Yeah, I understand where you are coming from." I grabbed my Coach clutch and set it next to me. I opened it and grabbed the jewelry box from inside.
"Celia, I don't know if you do." She looked at my clutch and back at me. I had collaborated with Coach and done a custom line. Each bag cost anywhere from $500 to $3,000 dollars. "You drop thousands of dollars on anything your heart desires." She shook her head grinning. "And you know I hate it when you buy me things."
"I know. That's why I do it." I smirked. She shook her head. "Oh come on, I don't drop it on nothing."
"The iced out chain saying 'QUEEN', and then the other saying 'BABY'?" She rose a brow.
"What?" I smirked.
"You needed that?"
"Yes I did." I grinned. "Come on they were my first chains."
"Mhmmm." She shook her head again.
"Fine, but at least accept what I am going to give you." I handed her the box. She looked at me and sighed. "Open it."
She opened the box delicately and gasped. She pulled out the beautiful diamond bracelet I had had designed for her.
"What do you think?" I asked.
"I love it." She smiled and pulled it on.
"I'm glad, and its special order so you can't take it back." I laughed.
"I love you girly."
"I love you too." I smiled.
At the end of our evening, we were all caught back up. I paid the bill and threw a couple hundreds on the table for tips. We walked out of the restaurant and got back in my Lamborghini.
"I had fun." Tiffany smiled at me.
"I did too." I nodded. "I miss y'all."
"We miss you too." She sighed. "I am sad you aren't staying."
"I know, but duty calls."
"Shame." She giggled. "But at least you have Shawn."
I laughed. "Oh yes I do."
