April turned around shocked to see Jason standing there. "Hi Jason when did you get here," she asked nervously.

"I've been around April; I never left the house today."

"Oh well I'm going to head on up to my bedroom. I'll see you guys later." April quickly ran up the stairs and closed her door. I walked into the kitchen to get some water as Jason followed behind me. He took a seat at the breakfast nook and I could feel his gaze on me.

"Can I help you," I say turning around.

"Not really," he replied with a smirk.

"Then why do you keep staring at me?"

"You still didn't answer my question."

"What question?"

"Christina let's not play games here okay. You know the exact question that I'm referring to."

"What that me and Aiden are a couple?"

"So it's true then?"

"Yes Jason it's my new reality."

Jason's started laughing to himself, "Are you sure you're making the right decision?"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing."

Jason got up and advanced towards me causing me to take a step back. When I eventually hit the wall, he put both his hands on either side of my head as he towered over me. I could feel my heartbeat quicken and the silence filling the room was beginning to become unbearable. Jason just continued to stare at me with those beautiful blue eyes of his. One of his hands then caressed my face causing me to gasp.

"Tell me Christina do you feel this way whenever Aiden comes around you?"

"Of course I do," I say with a labored breath. Jason cocks his head to one side and begins smiling at me. "What's wrong Christina am I making you uncomfortable?"

He is making uncomfortable and he seems to be enjoying my reaction. His face, the way his body is almost pressed up against mine is sending my body into a frenzy, and I hate myself for being affected by him like this.

"No you're not Jason," I say while ducking under his arm to put some space between us. "Besides why should you care about what goes on in my personal life you have Amanda remember?"

"What does Amanda have to do with any of this?"

"Well it seems that you two have gotten close lately."

Jason looked to the side with a huge smirk on his face, "I think you're reading too much into things, and if you're doing that then you must be jealous."

I immediately turned around and begin walking out of the kitchen.

"Oh come on Christina no goodbye?" I stop at the entrance, and calm myself. I can't let him think that I'm jealous of his little affair with Amanda. I turn around and face him with new-found confidence, which startles him.

"I'm sorry Jason but I will never be jealous of Amanda. I have way more self-respect, and would never lower myself to her standards."

Jason raised his eyebrows in surprise, and I walked up the stairs to my bedroom feeling content with how I had handled the situation. I decide to take a shower since I had a long day outside. While I dry my hair I get a text message. I pick up my phone to see that it was from Aiden

"Hey Christina you and April have a meeting with my father tomorrow at ten o'clock."

"Wow that was fast."

"You should've seen his face when I told him, he was ecstatic."

"Did you tell him about us?"

"Not yet, I wanted to surprise him tomorrow."

"Okay thanks for letting me know."

"No problem goodnight babe."

"Goodnight."

I was happy. Aiden made me feel safe and happy. I plopped myself on my bed and decided to give Stacy a call. I haven't spoken to her in a while and I know she'll be thrilled to hear the news I have to tell her.

"CHRISTINA OH MY GOD," she yells into the phone causing me to move it away from my ear.

"Nice to hear from you too Stace."

"So how are you?"

"I'm good Stace. Everyone around me has been so supportive and I feel like I belong here you know."

"That's great to hear. God we have to meet up I miss your face."

I smile while laughing, "how about tomorrow I'll be in town."

"Really? What's the occasion?"

"Well it has something to do with Aiden."

"Aiden, Aiden Maxwell? You guys still talk?" I felt how excited she was, so I knew this bit of information I was about to tell her would set her off.

"Yeah we still talk as a matter of fact he's actually my boyfriend."

The other line went silent, and I thought Stacy had hung up or that we got disconnected. "Stace are you there?"

"SHUT UP!! WHEN DID HE BECOME YOUR BOYFRIEND?"

"Today actually."

"Congratulations Christina I'm so happy for you."

"Thank you."

"Wow I can't believe my best friend is dating Aiden Maxwell." You know I'm going to go brag about this all over campus tomorrow right?"

"I'm not shocked actually."

"Will he be joining us tomorrow?"

"I don't know I'll meet up with you after my meeting with his father."

"Why do you have a meeting with his dad?"

"Oh right I forgot to tell you that tomorrow I will be officially signed to Maxwell Model's."

"This day just keeps getting better and better. That's amazing Christina."

"Thanks, well I have to go now I'll see you tomorrow okay."

"Can't wait."

In the morning, April and I were up bright and early getting ready to meet Aiden in New York. When I finished dressing up, I ran over to April's room to check on her.

"April are you done?" We have to get going." April opens her door while grabbing her bag, "Okay I'm ready." We head downstairs and let Mrs. Anderson know that we are heading to the city. April and I decide that it would be better to take a cab to the train station instead of my car. When we board the train, we decide to sit in the back. April and I are quietly listening to music, when we hear a familiar British accent.

"Do you ladies mind if I take a seat?" We both look up to see Justin smiling at us.

"Hey Justin please sit," I say motioning him to sit down.

"How are you?"

"I'm fine thanks for asking." He turns his attention to April causing her to blush. "It's good to see you again April."

"Yeah it's great to see you too." I laugh silently to myself. I feel as if I'm a third wheel staring at the both of them.

"So you girls are heading to the city?"

"Yeah we are about to meet up with Aiden."

"Really, that's perfect. I was just on my way to the agency, we could all ride together." He winked at April and she turned beet red causing both Justin and I to laugh.

I put my earphones back in my ear, while Justin and April talked. Surprisingly they really do have a lot in common, and I think he would be perfect for her. When we arrive in New York, Justin hails a cab for us all to head to the agency. Paparazzi fight against each other trying to get a shot of Justin. I can hear the swarm of questions being thrown at Justin.

"Justin who are the two women accompanying you?"

Justin opens the door and April and enter the cab quickly. Justin follows after us and tells the cab driver the address of the agency.

"That was a close one yeah."

"Does this always happen to you," April asked with concern.

"Don't worry luv, you get used to it after a while."

"I don't think I could ever get used to that," April said playing with her thumbs. "I'm more of an introverted person you know."

I chuckled while shaking my head. "April Young you definitely are not a shy person."

"Christina of course I am."

I continued to shake my head. Justin and April had a pleasant conversation for the duration of the car ride. When we finally arrived at Maxwell Model's Justin led April and I up to Mr. Maxwell's floor. When we arrived we were greeted by Lucy.

"Good morning Lucy."

"Good morning Christina it's nice to see you again."

"Thanks, I'm here for my appointment with Mr. Maxwell."

"Right of course."

Lucy paged Mr. Maxwell, and a minute later Aiden and his father emerge from his office.

"Christina glad you could make it," Aiden said giving me a hug.

"I'm just glad to be here."

"Did you have any problems getting to the city?"

"No actually we ran into Justin and he helped us." Aiden looked up to come face to face with his friend.

"Justin thanks man."

"No problem, how could you expect me to leave two beautiful girls alone and not help them? God forbid anything happened to them on the way here."

Lucy smiled and I could tell she wanted to laugh. I turned to face Justin.

"Justin we were fine, you are the one who wanted to flirt with April some more."

"Flirting is that what I was doing," he said throwing me a wink.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to Mr. Maxwell. "Thank you for having us again Mr. Maxwell."

"You're very welcome dear, now if you two would please follow me into my office so that we can begin." I nodded my head, and followed behind him.

"I'm glad you ladies decided to sign with my agency. When Aiden told me the news last night I was beyond happy."

"Thanks so much for the opportunity sir." He opened up two files on his desk and handed April and I individual contracts.

"Please read the contract thoroughly before you sign."

The contract was clear, I would be bound to Maxwell Modell's for a period of two years. At the end of the two year mark I would be evaluated to see whether or not I continue with the agency. Once I finished reading mine I signed the paper and handed it back to him. Once April finished, he filed the contracts away and stood up from his desk.

"Welcome to Maxwell Model's," he says shaking both our hands.

He sits back down and pages Lucy to bring Aiden in. Aiden comes into the room a few seconds later with a smile on his face. He comes up to me and places a chaste kiss on my lips causing his father to clear his throat.

"What's going on here," he asks with curious eyes.

"Dad Christina and I are actually dating." Preston's eyes go wide as a huge smile forms on his face.

"Why that's wonderful son good for you," he says bringing Aiden in for a hug. "I'm happy for the both of you."

"Thanks dad. Well if you're done with these two ladies I'd like to take them out for a day in the city."

"Of course, have fun but don't let the paparazzi know about your relationship just yet. We have to wait until she makes her debut."

"Alright dad," Aiden says rolling his eyes.

Aiden led April and I out of his father's office and down to the lobby. "So where do you ladies want to go for the day?"

"Actually Aiden I promised Stacy that I would hang out with her today."

"Oh." I could see the disappointment written all over his face.

"Don't pout, tomorrow I'm all yours."

"Promise?"

"What are you five," I ask him in disbelief.

I gave him a quick kiss before saying goodbye. April and I grab a cab and head towards Stacy's apartment.

"Did you tell her that you were on your way?"

"Nope I wanted to surprise her."

We arrived at her home fifteen minutes later, and paid the cab driver. I walked up with April and rang her doorbell. When Stacy opened the door she attacked me and put me in a bear hug.

"It's nice to see you too Stace."

"Hi April how are you?"

"I'm fine thanks for asking."

"Please come in." We followed Stacy into her living room and sat down.

"Would you like something to drink?"

"No Stacy we're fine." She sat down and the grilling officially started.

"Now on to this topic of Aiden. Why didn't you tell me you two kept in touch?"

"I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Remember I didn't know who he was until you told me that first day."

"True, but does he have friends?"

"Why are you looking for a man Stace?"

"Look just tell me okay. I know a man like him is bound to have some hot single friends."

"He does okay. April got set up with one of them as well. His name is Justin Seeley."

'The model?"

"You've heard of him?"

"Every girl I know is obsessed with him. I think it's his accent."

"Oh my god yes! A man with a British accent, how could I ever say no," April says laughing.

"Anyway let's get out of here."

The rest of the day was spent shopping and discussing Aiden. I swear Stacy is obsessed with him. When it was time for me to go back home, I gave Stacy a hug one last time and grabbed a cab back to the train station.

The ride back home was smooth, and we didn't run into anyone else. That was until we got home. We brought our bags into the kitchen and of course my wonderful day had to be ruined by seeing Amanda's face.

"The gold-digger's are back huh."

"Excuse me?"

"I don't repeat things, do try to keep up or do you need a translator? So who did you two sleep with to get all this stuff?"

April stared at me watching my every move, ready to intervene if she needed to.

"Look Amanda I don't have time for your childish games, so get out of my face."

"Okay."

"Where are you going?"

"Oh Jason is waiting for me upstairs. Please don't interrupt us tonight." I watched as she ran up the stairs.

"One more thing Christina, if you want to watch just let me know I'll be sure to give you a front row seat."

April's mouth dropped along with my own. Did she see me last time? How could that be, I never approached Jason's room completely. Then it clicked for me Jason told her. I ran up the stairs and headed towards Jason's bedroom. I barged through the door startling both Jason and Amanda. It's about time this bitch got what was coming to her.
