Lucy's Pov, 

Natsu charged at the man who started attacking him. I dropped his sword next to me and then used my whip again, grabbing his arm. "Damn it you stupid girl" he snapped as Natsu kicked him to the ground, placing a sword to his neck. "Call her a name again" Natsu's voice was more cold and harsh as I saw him glaring at the man. The man just smirked as he tripped Natsu over with his legs and pulle his arm toward him, pulling me forward as well. I kept my balance as I then saw the man running this way. I didn't have much training in fighting.

I pulled my whip back as I moved fast just missing a punch from him. He picked up his sword aiming it at me. "Your tougher than you look Lucy Heart-" before he could finish I used my whip to push him back and away from me. Who knew who I was. I glared at him as he just smirked more, giving out a mad man laugh. "Capturing you is going to be fun" he ran at me but in a blink of an eye Natsu was in front of me, clashing his swords with the mans. I stared at him shocked as he pushed the man backwards. "You really do have skill, you should think about joining me" the man then nearly shouted.

"Me joining the likes of murders? Never" Natsu snapped as the man smirk making me scared a little as the grip on my whip got tighter. "Like you have never killed with that blade? I can see the blood stains on it" the man nearly shouted with a mad man laugh afterwards as I looked at Natsu. His eyes were looking at the ground as I could see he had guilt in his eyes. H-he had killed before. T-there must of been a reason. "Then again you don't even know who your even protecting, I'm not the only one after her" the man smirked at me.

"Every dark force will be out for her, until her last breath" the man sent a shiver down my back. I felt weak all of a sudden. I felt scared as he gave me a crazy stare. Natsu soon snapped out of his flash back glaring at the man. "Im going to offer you once more, join me and hand over the girl" the man pointed his sword at us as Natsu smirked a little. "No chance in hell" Natsu replied as the man slammed his sword onto the ground. The ground started to shake as the stables set on fire. My eyes widen watching as the fire wasn't normal.

It was black and dark. "You work for Mard Geer" I whispered sensing they both had dark magic. Natsu looked at me shocked as the man laughed. "Ding dong, he sent me to take you back, then again who ever takes you back gets the prise" the man replied giving off an evil smile. I stepped back a little shaking a little. T-the man was a dark ninja. Mother once told me stories about them also. The man and Natsu clashed swords again as I shook my head. I couldn't use what my mother taught me, I couldn't show Mard Geer what he wanted.

I watched as Natsu and the man danced around as the fire started to spread. "Lucy get Sliver Moon" Natsu ordered as I listened rushing into the only stable that wasn't on fire yet. I put the saddle on Silver Moon and lead her out as the roof caught on fire. W-was his really happening? As I got outside I saw Natsu on the ground reaching for his sword as the man was about to strike him. "You should know that Zancrow is the one who kill you" the man nearly shouted as I used my whip to grab his sword and pull it out of his hand again.

He glared at me and pulled a smaller sword out of his outfit. "Your going to pay, all the boss said was bring you back alive, doesn't mean I can't hurt you" Zancrow ran toward me. Before he was able to he me his arm was then flung onto the stable wall. I stared to see ninja stars holding him there. I then turned my head to see Natsu rushed over. "You alright?" he asked as I nodded. He then pointed his sword at Zancrow. "Who are the people who sent you?" Natsu asked as Zancrow looked at the ninja star holding him in place.

He only smirked. "I can't tell you but I should warn you and your friends have made an enemy of Grimoire Heart" Zancrow answered as he threw something onto the ground. Soon smoke was all around us making me cough.  Soon as the smoke cleared Zancrow was gone including the ninja star that was holding him. "We need to move" Natsu put his katana away and got on Sliver Moon. He offered me his hand as I took it. He helped me on Sliver Moon as we rode off, leaving the town. As we left through the back roads I started to get worried.

I was putting Natsu in danger by staying with him. Maybe I should go on my own. Maybe I should of. I looked at the ground as I felt Natsu's stare. "What's wrong?" he then asked. "M-maybe we should go our own ways, your putting your life on the line being with me" I answered as it went a little quiet. Natsu took Sliver Moon into the woods as I heard a waterfall. I looked around to see Natsu stopping us at a pond with a small waterfall. I stared shocked as Natsu got off Sliver Moon. "Your own life is in danger Lucy, Im going to protect you" Natsu made me look at him shocked.

He soon helped me off the horse. "Why?" I then asked as Natsu just gave me a smile. "Because I feel like I have to" he answered as I stared at him a little shocked. My cheeks burn up a little as he then rubbed the back of his neck. "We left the camping stuff behind sadly looks like we sleeping under trees tonight" Natsu then laughed as I smiled. I looked at the pond walking over to see fish swimming around. I couldn't help but smile at it....

Preview: 

Lucy and I booked a room with two beds in the only inn that was in this town. As it got to sunset the towns people had tables and chairs outside and where spreading food around. People were even playing music. "It looks amazing" Lucy whispered as we was in our room. I just smiled at her. Her eyes filled with joy and excitement. "Come on, let's go down there" I saw the excitement in her eyes got bigger. We then soon headed down to the party. Many people where near the music dancing as Lucy just looked around excited.

I chuckled a little as she grabbed my arm, dragging me into the party. We ate some different types of food and played many games. It was an amazing night. "Lets dance Natsu" Lucy laughed dragging me toward the area everyone was dancing. In all honest truth, I wasn't much of a dancer. I never really did dance in front of others. Some reason I felt like Lucy could make me do anything. Lucy and I were dancing with the others, both of us laughing until someone walked into the party making others quiet. Making the music stop playing.
