Midday The Next Day, Natsu's Pov, 

Lucy and I got to the town Peterbrugh. It was a small town near by the Capital. Sadly this town was known for smuggling drugs and black market weapons. It wasn't the safest town but we needed camping gear. "Natsu" Lucy called as I looked at her. We was riding Sliver Moon like we did before. "Mhmm?" I saw she was looked at the ground. She wasn't sure about something. I looked at her confused and a little worried. "C-could you teach me how to fight?" Lucy then asked shocking me. She seemed like the type of girl who would pick peace.

Lucy then looked at me. I gave her a smile. "Sure Lucee" I answered as she looked at me shocked. "Really?" she asked a little excited as we headed to the towns stable. "Really" I answered as I got off Sliver Moon and then helped Lucy down. Lucy gave me smile as the horse stable owner came out. He was pretty tall with black hair and dark red eyes. "What you want?" he asked looking at me and then Lucy. I pulled some gold out of my pocket. "Just for our horse to stay here for awhile" I answered he took the gold, counting it. 

"The horse can go in that one" he then pointed to a stable right behind us. I nodded and thanked him as he went off. Lucy and I took Sliver Moon to the stable putting her inside. "Let me pay for the camping gear" Lucy mumbled rubbing the back of her neck. I just smiled a little taking off Sliver Moon's saddle. "If you want Lucy" I replied knowing if I tried fighting it, something bad would happen. Then again I just didn't want to destroy the friendship we was in middle of building. After making sure Sliver Moon was alright Lucy and I went into town.

"I heard someone kidnapped the Princess" some people where whispering as I listened confused. The Princess? The one no one had ever seen? I never really thought there was a Princess. "Think that's true?" I asked looking at Lucy who was looking around. "Not really" Lucy answered as I could tell by the sound of her voice she was keeping something and didn't want to talk about it. Did she know the Princess? Maybe she was a personal maid of hers. We headed into a store and looked around at the gear. "What do we need?" Lucy then asked.

"A tent, cooking stuff and that's it really" I answered as we grabbed some stuff and headed to the counter. The man looked at the items and then came up with the price 50 gold. It was pretty dear but Lucy pulled it out of a small bag on her belt like it was nothing. H-how did she get that much gold? I was a little shocked but I kept quiet, not asking. After getting what we needed we left, heading toward an cheap restaurant. I was carrying every thing on my back with the held with a backpack of course. "Were we heading after this?" Lucy asked as I felt like someone was following us. 

I had a feeling someone was. "After this we head to Shirotsume Town" I answered as Lucy nodded. She was still looking around amazed making me chuckle a little. We sat in the restaurant as I saw a figure outside in a hood standing there. They was watching and following us. Did they know who I was? Was they one of the people after Lucy? Or worse? Soon as we finished eating it was sundown. "Let's get Sliver Moon and leave" I mumbled as Lucy looked at me worried. "Something wrong?" Lucy asked as I grabbed her arm, dragging her toward the stables.

I turned my head to see the figure. "Lucy take this and hide in Sliver Moon's stable" I ordered taking off the backpack, handing it to her. Lucy looked at me confused but nodded, running into Sliver Moon's stable. I turned to face the figure who was standing there, hiding under a cloak. I put my hand on my swords holder. "Who are you and why are you following us?" I asked upset as the person pulled a katana. I got ready to pull my own out as it was getting darker. This wasn't the best place to fight and get caught with my skill.

"I just want to meet you misses" a voice echoed. The voice was male with a hint of crazy on the side. I glared at the figure. They was after Lucy. "Coward" I muttered as there was a small growl coming from the figure. They soon removed the cloak to show a man standing there around my age.

I knew the mark on his shoulder. He was an evil ninja. "You want to fight a ninja huh? Let's see if you can even use that sword" the man laughed as I pulled out my katana. I gripped it as I had no choice but to fight him. I couldn't use my magic or my special skill set but basic's should be able to help me. The man ran at me as I blocked his attack. He pushed me backwards a little. This guy was going to be tough to beat with basic's but I had to no choice. A dark ninja clan seemed to want her, the question was why? She seemed like a normal girl.

I kept blocking the guys attacks as I soon pushed him backwards and away from me. "You know how to block too well, you must be a ninja also" the man did a evil chuckle. I glared at him. I was using very basic attacks and he still guessed. "Then again all I have to do is signal my friends, think you can handle 4 of us?" the man spinning his sword. He was nearly right using just basics to fight 4 other people would be the end of me and Lucy. Soon a glowing blue whip was lashed around the mans sword and was pulled out of his hand. 

Me and the man turned our heads to see Lucy holding a glowing blue whip. "2 vs 4 seems a tad unfair doesn't it?" Lucy asked her face a little emotionless. I was a little shocked but soon smirked. Even though she asked me how to fight, she already knew some moves. I ran the at the man, swinging my sword......

I pulled my whip back as I moved fast just missing a punch from him. He picked up his sword aiming it at me. "Your tougher than you look Lucy Heart-" before he could finish I used my whip to push him back and away from me. Who knew who I was. I glared at him as he just smirked more, giving out a mad man laugh. "Capturing you is going to be fun" he ran at me but in a blink of an eye Natsu was in front of me, clashing his swords with the mans. I stared at him shocked as he pushed the man backwards. "You really do have skill, you should think about joining me" the man then nearly shouted.

"Me joining the likes of murders? Never" Natsu snapped as the man smirk making me scared a little as the grip on my whip got tighter. "Like you have never killed with that blade? I can see the blood stains on it" the man nearly shouted with a mad man laugh afterwards as I looked at Natsu. His eyes were looking at the ground as I could see he had guilt in his eyes. H-he had killed before. T-there must of been a reason. "Then again you don't even know who your even protecting, I'm not the only one after her" the man smirked at me.
