Harry wakes up and goes downstairs, slipping back out of his little space.

Severus looks at him

Harry goes into the kitchen.

Severus gets up and follows. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well, I kind of upset you in little space."

"I'm fine, just hungry."

"Okay," Severus says going back to the couch.

Harry starts to cook.

Severus reads.

"Food!"

Severus goes to him. "You didn't need to make me any."

"Eat."

Severus nods and eats

The puppy goes to Harry.

"Oh! Who's this?" Harry picks up the puppy.

"A pet you wanted in little space."

"Well..." Harry pauses looking over the puppy. "He's cute." Harry smiles.

"I'm glad you like it."

"Did I name him?"

"Nope."

"What should I name you?" Harry asks the puppy.

He barks.

"How about Xavier?"

"Xavier?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

Harry holds the puppy.

"Eat. "

Harry takes a bite.

Severus smiles.

"Pomeranian's are very active dogs, so he'll need to be taken for a walk daily," Harry tells him, eating his food.

Severus nods.

"And... I need to go back to school tomorrow."

"You're going back to school?"

"Yes, I'm in college."

"How did you get into a college?"

"I applied."

"What are you going for?"

"Veterinarian Classes."

"You're going to be a vet?"

"Yes, why?"

Severus shrugs. "I'm sure that if you want to be one in the wizarding world you don't need college."

"I need to know the information, that's why I'm going, the problem is..."

"What?"

"They want to transfer me to America..."

"Why?"

"Because was the last to get in their program, even though the only reason I got in the year was because they were desperate."

Severus frowns. "So you try to convince me to be with you just so you can leave."

"I'm not leaving, I refuse."

"So are you going to college or no?"

"I'm going but not to America."

"Then why did you say they want to take you there."

"Because they do, but I refuse."

"Then why tell me if your not?"

"Thought you'd want to know so you didn't see one of the letters of them trying to force me and get mad."

"Well, you made it sound like you're going."

"I'm sorry." Harry coos to him.

Severus rolls his eyes and looks away.

"I love you." Harry kisses him softly.

Severus kisses back then pulls away

Harry looks up at him.

Severus gets up and goes to the living room

Harry frowns and starts to clean up.

Severus grabs his book.

Harry finishes then gets an idea. "Hey!" He calls.

"What!"

"I'm running to the bank."

"Why?"

"It's a surprise."

"Okay..."

Harry puts on a light jacket and steps into the early October air.

Severus waits for him to return.

Harry get several hundred Galleons out of the bank.

Severus plays with the puppy.

Harry comes back.

Severus looks at him

Harry smiles. "We're going out tonight."

"Where to?"

"You'll see."

"Why are you taking me?"

"Because I want too."

"Okay..."

Harry sits in his lap and kisses him softly.

Severus kisses back then pulls away

Harry looks at him.

"Do what?"

"Pull away so soon."

"I. Don't know."

"Are you scared?" Harry hides a challenging smirk.

"Of what?"

"I don't know... I don't bite... hard."

Severus bites his lip.

"What are you afraid of?" Harry whispers, kisses below his ear, down to his chin.

Severus shivers.

Harry starts on his neck.

"Please stop."

Harry looks at him

Severus gets up and goes upstairs.

Harry frowns.

Severus closes and locks the door.

Harry goes to his own room.

Xavier follows harry.

Harry looks at him.

He barks and gets in play position.

Harry plays with him.

After a while, Xavier lays on Harry's pillow

Harry watches him.

Xavier jumps down and goes scratches at Severus' door.

Harry follows.

Xavier scratches again.

Harry knocks.

Severus opens the door. "Yes?"

"I-I'm sorry," Harry whispers.

"You have nothing to apologize for."

"I was forcing you..."

"You did no harm."

Harry looks down.

Severus looks at the dog and nudges it out of his room.

Harry hugs him.

Severus hugs back.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Harry."

Harry keeps his head down. "You're the one that decides... I was being a brat."

"Harry it's fine "

"No."

"Fine, it's not fine what do you want to be done about it?"

Harry stays quiet.

"Well, what do you want me to do? It's not okay so what?"

Harry shrugs.

"Then let me say it's okay and stop arguing."

Harry looks down.

Severus sighs. "Harry. I'm sorry."

"You didn't do anything."

"I'm being too harsh on you."

"I don't mind," Harry says softly.

"Didn't you say you're going to college tomorrow "

"Yeah?"

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah."

"Okay...".

Harry looks up at him.

"What "

"Nothing."

Severus sighs and nudges the dog out again.

Harry watches him.

"What time is it?"

Harry pulls out his wand, casting tempus. "3:30."

"Okay."

"What do you wanna do?"

Severus shrugs.

Harry sighs and looks around Severus' room.

Severus nudges the dog out.

Harry just shuts the door.

Severus looks at him

Harry looks away waiting for Severus to do something.

"I'm sorry..."

"For What? Harry asks confused.

"For... I don't know... being so..."

"So?"

Severus shrugs.

Harry nuzzles him.

Severus stiffens.

"I don't know."

"What do you want to do?"

"Sleep... forever."

"Why so glum?" Harry asks softly.

"I'm not... glum."

"What's wrong?" Harry asks, sitting him down.

"Nothing."

"Please talk to me."

"I am talking to you am I not?"

"What's going on?" Harry asks him.

"Nothing."

Harry sighs and sits in his lap.

Severus holds him.

Harry kisses his cheek.

Severus closes his eyes.

Harry nuzzles him.

Severus grins.

Harry playfully licks him.

Severus looks at him.

Harry laughs as the falls over onto the bed.

Severus watches him.

Harry nuzzles his neck as he lays beside him.

Severus lets him.

"Umm... y-yeah." Harry blushes.

"Where are you going?"

Severus goes to the bathroom and locks the door

Harry watches him leave the, almost positive he knows what he's doing.

The dog starts barking.

Harry leaves the room.

Xavier follows harry.

Harry lets him into the backyard.

He runs around.

Harry goes to his room.

Xavier follows.

Harry picks him up and spells all the mud he drug in away then waits for Severus to come out to clean him.

Severus just goes to his bedroom and stays there.

Harry gives Xavier a bath, which he hates.

The puppy jumps out of the bathtub and out of the open door.

Harry tackles him, careful not to hurt him, then shuts the door.

He barks and whines.

Harry finishes washing him then wraps him in a towel.

He tries to run.

Harry holds him like a baby as he walks downstairs.

Severus slowly goes downstairs.

Harry sits on the couch and dries Xavier off.

Severus looks at him.

"All clean." Harry smiles at the puppy. "Isn't that better?"

He jumps down.

"Fine, I didn't want to talk to you anyway." Harry pouts.

"I think he's mad you gave him a bath."

Harry jumps.

Severus gives him a raised eyebrow.

"Don't sneak up on me like that."

"I didn't."

Harry pouts.

Severus bites his lip.

Harry continues to pout.

Severus goes to the kitchen.

Harry quietly follows,

Severus makes a snack.

Harry wraps his arms around him.

Severus pulls away.

Harry looks at him.

Severus looks down.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"I don't believe that."

"Why."

"You're acting distant."

"Sorry..."

"What's bothering you?"

"I'm fine."

"Please tell me, I wanna help you."

"I'm fine."

"Severus..."

"Stop asking what's wrong I'm fine. I said I'm fine so I am."

"You're not acting like it."

"So?"

"Please."

Severus goes back to his room.

"Severus!"

"What!"

Harry just stays quiet and goes to his room.

Xavier goes to harry.

Harry lays down and pets him.

Xaver cuddles him

Harry lets himself slip and falls asleep.

Severus lays in bed.
