Travelling

Kagome had quickly settled within the small group of Lord Sesshomaru's, her eyes always in a deep faraway place where no one could reach.
Sighing for the first time that day she looked over to where the silver forest was, the small ringing of bells ringing in her ears yet it wasn't a pull.
It felt like a lure, tempting her. Alluring her as she kept walking.

Sesshomaru looked back with a perfect eyebrow raised, his face furrowed into a slight frown as he saw her, silent yet deadly, cold on the outside yet her personality was warm. She was a mere Miko, he shouldn't have felt this way about her. Yet her pale abalone skin radiated with beauty that he found himself captured in.

She was beautiful he had to admit, so why didn't he just take her already? To be wedded within the nights under the silver stars? It was because he respected her wishes and he wouldn't just force it on her. He wasn't that type of yokāi.

Kagome shrugged her heavy bag again as she felt mildly uncomfortable, her red dress had now been pulled up a bit to show her legs as she walked, seeing as she didn't want to ruin it by the excessive amount of sticks and stones that littered the path.
She could see they were nearing the remote village a few ways away, the small lights could be seen glowing a distant away.
Smiling mildly she felt the tugs of her sleeve, looking down she saw Rin, a bug smile on her face as she danced.

"Hello Rin, sweetie. What do you need?"

"Lady Kagome! Will you play with me?"

"Why of course I will sweetie. What game do you suggest?"

"Well I want to know more about you Lady Kagome, so how about the Get to know you Game!"

"Haha.... of course anything to make you happy. Shall we start then?"

"Yeah! What's your..... favourite weapon?"

"My favourite weapon? Well I haven't used much but a Bow. Yet I wouldn't say a Bow is my favourite but a katana. It's smooth slices intrigue me greatly." Answering the small girl as she tilted her head.

"Mine is a whip like Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin chirped as she skipped along beside Kagome.

Kagome gave a small chiming laugh as she held the small girl's hand, her other hand occupied with Shippo. The small fox Yokāi was humming as his fluffy tail
swung on the ground. His eyes flashed from gold to blue sometimes as he looked towards the village.

The group sped up as the approached the villagers, passing through rice fields where farmers tolled away at the fields. The blue sky expanded above them with the gentle wind caressing their face.
Sesshomaru strolled through, his molten gold eyes burning at the back of Kagome's head as they all walked.
He was observing her frail body, her pale legs that seemed to dance as she walked gracefully.
Her long ebony hair swayed near her curvy hips hidden beneath the cloth she wore.

Sesshomaru could only silently rake his golden eyes up and down her body as his claws twitched a bit. At that moment she smelled....Dangerously Enticing.
She glanced back at him as they neared the village ever more, her thin brow raised as she looked at him.

"Lord Sesshomaru?" She asked softly as he snapped back to reality.

"We will stay in this mortal village for a while. Stock up on supplies before moving on." He snapped a bit.

Kagome slightly rolled her pearly eyes as she turned to a villager. "Excuse me do you know where the inn is?"

"Why yes of course! Its the one right down the road to your right." An old wrinkly man who was leaning on an aged cane smiled at her. His yellow teeth seemed to have been chipped an a few were missing.
"What might a beautiful young lady as yourself be searching for here in this rundown village?"

"Oh just some supplies. Is the village tailor nearby?" She asked softly.

"Well.... you're looking at em!" The old man gave a bashful smile as he clapped his weathered hands.

"Wonderful." Turning to Sesshomaru she smiled "I'll be heading out with him Lord. Please go and book a room and I'll be there when I'm done."

Sesshomaru merely growled as he could smell it.
The filthy scent of a yokāi in the midst of the crowds. Specifically coming from the old man.
"Fine. Be back at the inn at sundown." He spat out as he gracefully walked past her. His eyes steeled as he braced his emotions. For the face she made, his brain seemed to melt from the doeful eyes she gave him.
Her sharp intake as she whispered 'i'm sorry.'

You don't have to be sorry. You are perfect and I'm afraid. Afraid yo admit that a mere mortal seemed to have caught my interest.
