A blanket of stars was the first thing the young Miko saw when she exited the Sturdy hut she was staying in with her friends. All she saw were the beautiful night sky unfazed by pollution or even clouds as the stars seemed to be pools of mercury twinkling in a calm light.

She breathed in a breath of the night air her Dark blue kimono decorated with white lilies blew gently around her legs and arms as she relished the feel of the gentle winds. Suddenly a shrill Call was heard in the air one that Kagome knew so well and she knew exactly who they represented and who was coming for the woman at such a high speed.

Sighing she went to the dark forest littered with Yokai he Sacred bow and arrows on her back as she tread through the woods calmly. Her Dark amber eyes searched the night and she finally heard it. A womans whispering and a voice she knew so well speaking back. She watched as the Inu yokai, The Half breed hold the Dead Priestess in his arms as she held him back with such care it made Kagome's heart wild and throb with a painful pull. she felt her heartstrings tangle and her emotions started to crack under her calm gaze as she hid behind the tree masking her scent and presence.

"Kikyo...I-I Love you stay with me..By my side!" Inuyasha urged to the woman he loved. The woman who died

"I I love you Inuyasha but what about Kagome?" she whispered, Her voice quivered and he sighed.

"Kagome means nothing.." he whispered in a hushed voice "She is just a Shard Collector" he murmured and Kikyo stiffened. She was a woman who understood what it was like to lift the world on her shoulders when she was alive and unaware that Kagome was nearby she nodded

"I will stay by you Inuyasha.." she moaned as the Half Demon grazed her neck with his fangs

"Then Join me" he whispered "Ill protect you!" he smiled softly at her and Kagome's heart just could not take it but she forced herself to stay. Tears were rolling down her rosy cheeks and the pain from her heart was unbearable.

  "Oh Inuyasha..I Would join you even to the pits of hell..But please..Grant my one wish?" she looked up at him Dark eyes pleading.

"Of course..Kikyo.." he whispered his gold eyes bore into her own.

"Get rid of that Kagome? For me?" she whispered her voice alluring and she knew what she was doing was wrong. She knew but her Love to Inuyasha clouded her mind as she clutched his robes tighter and lifted her head closing her eyes. She leaned up and kissed him slowly but passionately. 

He returned her kiss and slowly their clothes were being stripped from each other. Kagome's eyes couldn't take it and she fled quickly her face streaked with pure tears that lit the path for her. She ran through the dark forest and Youkai watched her with pity. The youkai in the forest don't care if she's a mortal and they care for her quite so but seeing her like this gave them the most absolute anger to whoever made their precious mortal cry. Her tears became clear pearls that dropped on the ground sparkling in the moonlight.

They watched her run from the glowing scene and their red eyes focused on the half demon, they were angry yes but knew that Kagome loved this Man very much, she even cried for him so they could not attack him in fear of making her even sadder.

They watched her exit the forest as they receded back into the dark gloom.

Kagome had run into the hut as she wiped her pearly tears away. The beauties dropped to the ground a small tinkle was heard that alerted the young kitsune from his slumber as he looked up at her puffy red eyes and flushed cheeks. Her skin was paler and her eyes seemed broken. The woman he called mother was sad and he could only guess as to what happened.

"Kagome?" he whimpered as she looked at him and a small smile graced her face

"Yes Shippo?" she smiled sweetly to him as he nuzzled into her neck

"Why do you look so sad?" he whimpered as she stroked his head 

"I'm sad because my heart is  broken Shippo.." she murmured As she lifted him "Shall we run away together?" she whispered and he nodded.He would follow her to the ends of the earth because his love for her was strong. Stronger than any bond for a youkai. He loves her his mother his friend and he would stay with her.

They packed up their stuff and she took a large black bag instead of the bright yellow for it carry to much memories of Inuyasha.  She packed a fluffy blanket, plenty of candy and food, her bow and arrows were slung on her back, spare clothing, beads and necklace given to her by Sango, and a small Knife. Shippo packed Water, spare clothing, his Father's Ashes in a golden pendant, and other necessities.

Kagome gazed at Sango, kirara and Miroku as they slept Soundlessly. Miroku had his arms wrapped around Sango as she cuddled closer to him and Kagome smiled walking to them and kissing their foreheads giving kirara a stroke on her Tail.

She would miss them Alot but for now she was focused on leaving before Inuyasha came back. Quickly she gave Kaede A hug while the woman slept and wished her a farewell before making her scent and shippo's undetectable as they both walked away from the village. They didn't know where to go so they followed Kagome's instinct.

And They headed West
