Mia's POV

The last night on this amazing cruise ship.
Amazing? I don't know.

Gosh, my experience on this ship would have been so much more enjoyable if a certain someone wasn't here.

Besides from all that shitty stuff, I've had a great time. Like all the late nights, parties, the laughs, basketball games, hot days, pools, and so many more memories. The shopping centre, movies, theatre performances...

But a few things stand out... the fights with Tommy, the hurt, the pain, confusion.

But now all I can think about is what's gonna happen once we're off.

Once we're finally free. At school. Maybe it won't be as bad. Or maybe it's worse, but better for Tommy being off a ship. He can do whatever he wants and doesn't need to be 'careful.'

Chloe and I are standing at the very front of the ship. The sun is setting and I wouldn't really want to be anywhere else on the ship right now. The last night on this ship. The sky is a beautiful bright, bright red and the sun is sitting on the horizon.

Chloe moves to the very front of the ship. "I'm flying jack." She says and extends her arms.

I laugh and walk up beside her.

"I don't want to leave this ship." She wines.

"I know same." I pout. But really, I want to get off it as soon as I can.

Then I think about School. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh. It only starts in a week. Whyyy?! More tests, more bitches I have to deal with (especially Rebecca.) She won't fucking leave me alone. She never has really. Chloe says she's jealous. But seriously, she makes out that she's in love with herself.

This cruise has brought us four together even more than before so I think we'll be seeing each other a lot after this.

To be honest, I didn't really know Luke that well. I only spoke to him a few times, but not a lot. Finn, I did since I'm in his basketball team. Getting back to school means more practice.. so much more training after school. I love basketball, so I don't mind.

But I mean seriously, who actually wants to go to school? I'm pretty sure everyone would want to stay on holidays forever. Just like now as I'm staring out into the ocean next to Chloe. I don't think I've seen a sunset more beautiful.

It was a warm night, so Chloe and I stayed out longer until it got dark, then decided to hear back to our rooms.

I woke up the next morning really tired. I just wanted to fall back asleep. But today, is the day we leave. Finally. No more Tommy, no more gangs... I'm feeling good.

Since today isn't particularly hot, I dress in something casual.

It was just a plain white, short day dress. I put my light brown hair in a low pony tail.

"I just want to get off here now." Chloe said as she took a sip of her coffee mum made us each. Everyone has their bags packed already, so she came into my room for breakfast.

I raised an eyebrow. "What changed your mind?"

"I don't know, I just want to get home." She said looking out the window.

"Mmm me too."

"I actually have been getting a bit sea sick I think." She said sitting back in her chair. "Just from being inside most of the time."

"Seriously? Have you taken pills for it?" I asked once I skulled my coffee.

Chloe just shrugged. "I got used to it. I didn't need them after a few days."

"Fair enough."

"Hey did you see Luke's post on Instagram?" Chloe asked excitedly.

"Uhhh no. I haven't checked." I said getting out my phone and going on insta. I search Luke's name and go into his posts.

I click on his recent photo.

"How cute is it?" Chloe practically squeals.

Awwww its a photo of us four posing for a photo at the main deck one night. It looks like the sun just set and the sky was turning dark. Chloe had her arm leaning on Luke's shoulder while Finn and I posed next to them. It was last week I think.

"I remember that." I smiled, 'liking' the photo. I screenshot it so I could keep it in my camera roll. The photo already had 234 likes.

We all have plenty of photos... I'm gonna miss this ship.

"I'm on his insta for the first time." She said basically jumping in her seat. "All the girls are gonna be jealous." She smirked looking through the comments on the post.

I chuckled. "That's cute."

This cruise really brought us together, and I hope we all stay this way.

"Okay girls, you ready? We're leaving!" Mum said getting up from the couch near us.

My homeee!

After finally getting off the ship, mum and I headed home.

I walk inside and walk upstairs to my bedroom where I put all my bags on my bed.

I lie down on my bed next to my bags.

I look at my phone and see a text from Chloe 14 minutes ago.

Chloe - Tomorrow were all meeting up. Luke wants to do something dangerous ;)

Me - What do you mean dangerous?

She replied within a few seconds.

Chloe - Wellll Luke has gone home, but we were thinking we should all go to that old abandoned house a few streets down

Chloe and Finn only live down the end of my street. Probably 5-10 houses away.
And she's talking about an old creepy abandoned (probably haunted) house.

Me - Ok, how did he convince you to go there? Whenever we walk past on our way home from school, you freak out

Chloe - Idk, I just thought it would be fun if we all go. Maybe it won't be as scary if we go together

Me - No, I think you want to go because when you get scared, you can hold onto Luke and it would be all cliche

Chloe - NO ITS NOTTT

Me - Mmmm

Chloe - Anyway, we'll all meet you outside your house at about 10:00 pm tomorrow. U better come

Me - Okay okay

Well, this will be fun.
