I set my jacket down and toss my sunglasses aside, before following dad to the living room I'm guessing where everyone is. I see that pixie girl and a long haired brunette woman smile to me along with a blonde man and a big brunette guy.

"Here" dad hands me some scotch and I drink it, covering my mouth I hand the glass back to him.

We are silent as everyone stares at me, I see dad stiffen as that pixie girl stares off into space before coming back and smiles brightly at me "hi, I'm Alice"

She hugs me and I make a face, I pat her back so dad comes over "Lera isn't a hugger, Alice" dad pulls Alice off of me. "Um, everyone this is Leralynn my daughter" dad introduces us "Lera this is Carlisle, his mate Esme. Rosalie, her mate Emmett. Jasper and you know Alice and finally this is Bella" he goes over to the human who holds onto dad possessively. Really? I'm not into dad, bitch.

"Edward" Bella says "why didn't you tell me your have a daughter?"

"How about we sit down?" Esme suggests, when we sit down I'm on one side of dad as that Bella is with Alice-it's clear she wants to sitting next to dad.

"What is she?" Rosalie demands

"A hybrid" crossing my arms "in case you didn't hear"

"Lera" dad warns, she could be nicer and not such a bitch. Dad sighs rubbing his brows "about 75 years ago I was intimate with an enhanced human" technically mom was an enhanced human who needed blood to survive. I have fangs but my eyes don't turn blue, I have more gifts than the average vampire because my mother was in a coven where they had this thing called the Sacred Rite and I went through it. I can walk in the sun since I don't sparkle but glow "and it led to Lera, she's half vampire"

"Impossible" bitchy speaks again "it's...it's impossible"

"Sometimes the impossible things" I speak "are possible" crossing my arms.

"Does you drink blood?" Bella asked

"What kind?" Carlisle asks

"Human" dad and I both say, dad then explains "animal blood doesn't react well to her" first time dad fed it to me I vomited up more blood then I ingested.

"What of her mother?" Alice asked

"Died about a decade or two ago" I answer, yeah she was found out by the Volturi and instead of wanting Aro to find out about me she ran into the sun and burned up. Dad knows, it's a reason to why he doesn't want to go to the Volturi or I thought he didn't.

"Because her mother was an enhanced human" dad explains "Lera isn't like the average...person"

"That's obvious" Jasper speaks

"Does she have a gift?" Carlisle asks

"Yes" nodding his head "multiple"

"How come you didn't tell us about her?" Rosalie demands

"Rose" Esme warns

"No" she snaps her head to the coven standing up "how is it that Edward kept a hybrid daughter a secret?"

"Because I didn't want the Volturi knowing" dad stands up "with Aro, he and the others would check in whenever and I didn't want my daughter in danger" I thought he didn't want me, dad shakes his head to me. The room is silent "judge me all you want, but it was safer for Leralynn to be hidden!"

"We understand" Carlisle stands "Aro is an unpredictable person, you had every reason to hide your daughter. Don't be angry with Rosalie, this is all just very unprecedented"

"So Lera" Esme speaks "are you hungry? I'm guessing your journey was a long one?"

"I got some pizza for her" Dad speaks "let me show you where the kitchen is and everything" nodding my head I get up and follow dad.
