" What?!" Jacob says surprised, " I thought we took care of the Blighter control,"

" I thought so too, but it looks like the Blighters are trying to regain some of that control," the Rook women said.

" Well let's teach them they made a mistake," Jacob grinned. I look up and see Jacob and a few Rooks start to leave. I run up, from my chair, and grab Jacob's arm. He looks back at me, wanting to see what I want.

"Jacob, I want to help," I say. He looks at me and shakes his head.

"No," Jacob says, I stare at him wide-eyed, " I'm not going to let yourself get hurt, or worse,"

"Jacob, I'll be okay, I can take care of myself," I try to reassure him. But he just looks at me not convinced.

"My answer is still no," I look at him pleadingly. I really want to help those children. Those children should go to school, not working in a factory with horrible conditions. A grown man can do more work than a child can.

" Jacob, I care of what happens to those children, and quite frankly Jacob, if I'm going to be your wife, I think I should be at least somewhat involved," I say, but Jacob just yells at me.

"Damn it Emily, I don't want to lose you, I don't want to see you get hurt!" Jacob yells.

" Jacob, I understand your concern, I really do, but I really think I can do something to help," I say calmly. Jacob sighs.

"Let me guess, if I don't let you come your just going to come anyway,"

"Oh Jacob, you know me so well!" I laugh, but he just had a serious look on his face. So I stop laughing.

" So Emily, what do you think you can do to help us," a Rook man says to me.

" Well Mr. ...." I start not knowing his name.

" Floyd, John Floyd," he says.

" Well Mr. Floyd, I can distract them," I say. Jacob turns to me.

" What do you mean by distract them," Jacob says the distract like I'm going to seduce them. I scoff.

" No Jacob, not like that," I glare at him for a moment, " What I mean is I distract them by saying that I lost my child or something,"

" That might actually work, if you play it convincingly," a woman Rook tells. I turn my head in her direction.

" Actually, I'm a very convincing liar, I can tell you anything and it will sound believable," I say to her. She nods her head. Jacob stairs at me still not convinced. So I give him the same adorable puppy dog eyes that I used on my parents when I was little and they still worked on them to this day.

"Oh Emily, not the cute puppy dogs," he says trying not to give in. But I step closer to him and whimper a little which ups the cuteness, " Okay, you can come," he finally gives in. So then I give him a hug and a peck on the lips, then me, Jacob and 3 Rooks go to the factory. The Rooks and I get in the carriage and Jacob drives.

In the past month, I have been in a carriage with Jacob driving 3 or 4 times, and I'm still not used to his driving. I see the 3 Rooks in front of me trying to hold on to something. I laugh a little.

" So, you don't like how Jacob drives either do you?" I ask then. They shake their heads.

" No, we don't like how he drives, sometimes I think sometime or later, we are going to crash," the Rooks and I laugh a little. About 10 minutes later we arrive at the factory. It's kind of a big factory.

We all get out of the carriage, and head to a place where the Blighters can't t see or hear us. Jacob turns to me.

" So Emily, what's the plan again?" He says even though I've already told him during the ride here.

" Okay, so I make a distraction to lead some of the Blighters away from the bell, then you Jacob, will go in there and sabotage the bell, then after that you find the children and get them out of there," I look at Jacob after I was done talking. He looked a little disappointed, " Yes Jacob, you may 'take care' of the Blighters if they give you trouble," I say and his face lights up," and if there are any Blighters left over , the Rooks can take care of them," they all nod in approval.

" Okay, let's do this then," Jacob says.
