Aunt Marry
After uncle left me and aunt Marry, she took me back to her house in Westminster. I haven't been there in a long time. We come out of the carriage, and she opens the door so we can go inside. I turn to her.
" So Auntie, what do you want to talk about," I smile, she sighs.
" Your mother," she says sadly, and my smile fades, " I am so sorry Dizzy and I couldn't make it to the funeral," I can see tears rolling down her face. I hugs her.
" Auntie, I don't care about that, you and uncle were ,I'm guessing, very busy, I know you wanted to come," I say sincerely. Sure I was mad at first, but then I have to understand that uncle is very busy, I mean he is a member of Parliament after all. Aunt Marry touches my face softly.
" Oh Emmy, I still see you are still a forgiving person," She says. If only she seen the argument me and father had the other day.
" Lets talk about mom shall we," I smile. Auntie and my mother were like the best of friend when mother and father got married, or so I am told. We tell stories of the times we had with mother.
" I remember the time when your mother used to take you and Erik to the garden to play, where she would also play you the both of you," I smile remembering those times.
" Yeah, I remember those times," I look out the window, " god, I miss her," I say. Then I turn back around. She gives me a serious look.
" Now let's talk about you and Jacob," Aunt Marry says, " how long have you two been together?" I answer.
" About a little over a month," I say and she nods.
" Does my brother approve of it," she says.
" Honestly Auntie, I don't know, I told him about us, then he tells me that forbids it, then we eloped, father found out about it, and he hasn't brought it up yet, so I don't know," Auntie looks stunned.
" Wait, you married him?" She stairs at me wide eyed. Oh, no I told her too much. But then to my surprise she smiled.
" Well he drove you both to do it," I chuckle a little, " but I do expect a real wedding after all, and who know, how long I'm going to be alive," I laugh.
" Don't worry Auntie, you will get to see me get married someday,"
