*Get our mate back to the castle! Now!* Adolphus growled back.

Jungkook forcefully took control and shifted which took him a whole lot of power because Adolphus was at it's peak already.

Taehyung raised his head.

“Are you okay?” He asked but Jungkook’s eyes was focused on Jimin who was still on the ground.

Jimin finally got his consciousness and started coughing as he raised his head, his hair covered half of his face.

Taehyung also turned and he was surprised to see Jimin.

“It’s…him” He mumbled.

*Mate…..Jimin….it’s our mate!!* Shin waggled joyfully and Jimin was dumbfounded.

*What are you talking about?* he asked, not getting it.

*I can smell him Jimin, I can feel him!! We found our mate!!* Shin repeated.

Jimin’s eyes met with Jungkook’s cold face, he was also looking at him.

*Shin…..it’s….it’s….the…alpha* He trembled as he said that.

*We are mated to an Alpha!! That’s it!!* Shin screamed and Jimin swallowed.

Jungkook’s eyes were still on him and he was getting uncomfortable, his mate is not supposed to meet him in such a disgraceful way, he look so horrible!!

“Alpha….” Taehyung called again calmly and Jungkook looked away from Jimin after staring at him for minutes with no single expression on his face to read.

“Do you know him?” Jungkook asked and Adolphus growled angrily in his head but he ignored him.

“Yes, he’s the Omega who was brought to the castle today. I guess he’s trying to escape” Taehyung said, looking at Jimin who immediately looked down embarrassingly.

*What do you think you’re doing?? You’re hurting our mate* Adolphus snapped at Jungkook.

*He’s not my mate!!* Jungkook yelled back at him.

*What do you mean?? I can feel it….*

*Feel whatever you want, that Omega is not going to be my mate* Jungkook said and Adolphus went quiet.

Jungkook turned to Taehyung, not sparing Jimin a glance.

“Get the horse” He said.

“Here Alpha”

Yeonghon and Beopsa just came with Jungkook and Taehyung’s horses.

They got down from the horse

“But….what about him?” Taehyung asked as Jungkook was about walking to the horse.

Jungkook kept quiet for a while before speaking up.

“The castle” he muttered and got on the horse.

Taehyung looked at Beopsa.

“I will bring him with me” Yeonghon immediately said and Taehyung nodded before he also got on his horse.

Jimin watched as Taehyung and Jungkook rode off along with other guards leaving just Yeonghon and Beopsa.

*Mate….hates us* Shin said sadly.

*No, the problem is me. He hates me….not you* Jimin said.

“Get up” Beopsa called his attention.

“Be gentle dude” Yeonghon snapped at Beopsa and Jimin looked at him, he recognized him, he was the same guard who helped him back in the dungeon.

“Hey, what’s your name?” He asked calmly.

“Jimin” Jimin muttered.

Yeonghon smiled and offered him his hand.

“Let’s go” he said.

Jimin placed his hand on his own gently and he pulled him up, he helped him on the horse and he climbed on it too, sitting behind him.

Yeonghon looked at Beopsa who was already on the horse also and the two sped up.

Jimin on the other hand was lost in thought.

What is he returning to the castle to face at this moment? He doesn’t know.

“You look disturbed” Taehyung said to Jungkook.

They are both going slowly now, enjoying the night breeze as the horse walk slowly.

“Do I?” Alpha Jungkook asked.

“Yes, is there something you want to tell me?” Taehyung asked.

“Is it necessary to have a mate?” Alpha Jungkook asked and Taehyung raised his brows.

“You know it is, and even if it’s not necessary for everyone, you’re the Alpha and you must have one, you know that” Taehyung replied.

Jungkook scoffed.

“Is something wrong?” Taehyung questioned.

Jungkook ignored his question and sped off, leaving him behind.

Taehyung sighed out and immediately followed him in the same pace.

Yeonghon’s horse stopped as they entered the castle. He jumped down from the horse and looked at Jimin.

“Come on” He said, offering him his hand.

“Thank you” Jimin said softly and held his hand, he grabbed his hand and held his waist as he carried him down.

Jimin looked around, he finally got the chance to see what the castle really looks like, it’s magnificent.

Yoongi was walking when suddenly he saw Jimin and he frowned.

“What’s going on?” He walked, moving closer to them.

Jimin quickly bowed his head.

“Why is he here?” Yoongi asked Yeonghon, ignoring Jimin.

“The Alpha want him to be brought back here” Yeonghon replied and Yoongi’s eyes widened.

“The Alpha saw him?” He asked and Yeonghon nodded.

Yoongi looked at Jimin again before storming away making Jimin wonder what’s wrong.

“Follow me, I will take you to a room where you can pass the night” Yeonghon said and Jimin immediately followed him.

He was crazily hungry but who is he to ask for food at this moment??

He thought about Jungkook again and sighed, what is
he expecting? How can he be mated to an Alpha? Not just an alpha..

Alpha Jungkook!! The dominion Alpha of all pack!!

Alpha Jungkook stared out of the window as he undo his shirt buttons, the moon was so bright up there. The door opened at once and Taehyung came in.

“Jungkook……”

“I want to be alone” Jungkook cut him off immediately without looking back.

“Tell me what is going on in your head, it’s disturbing and you know that” Taehyung said.

“Do I have to repeat myself?” Jungkook asked calmly and Taehyung sighed.

“Fine, goodnight” He muttered and walked out.

Jungkook rolled his eyes and walked into the bathroom, he undressed and got into the tub of extremely cold water, he let out a loud sigh and closed his eyes.

*What are you planning?* Adolphus asked.

*Not now, I’m not in the mood to talk* Jungkook said.

*You’re not talking but thinking! We need to talk about our mate!* Adolphus said and Jungkook sighed.

*I’m rejecting him* He said.

*You must be joking, we are not rejecting……*

*I’m not speaking for us but myself, I can’t have an Omega as a mate, the moon goddess must be joking* Jungkook said.

*He’s our mate!! We’ve been searching for years!! I’m not rejecting him, he’s just perfect, and if you care to know, I am in love with him already!!* Adolphus yelled and cut off the link before Jungkook could reply.

Alpha Jungkook scoffed.

“Is he kidding?” He muttered and Jimin came to his mind.

That little wolf doesn’t fit to be called his mate. He’s the alpha for moon sake, never will he accept to be humiliated in such a manner, never.

Jimin woke up to an unbearable hunger. He was so hungry and weak, even Shin haven’t said a word to him since last night, apart from the fact that she’s sad about their mate, she was also tired and weak too.

Jimin didn’t bother to call her, he got up from the bed. The room Yeonghon brought him to last night was smaller than the one Yoongi was staying, but still it has a bed, something Jimin never imagined in even for years to come, he’s sleeping on the bed.

As much as he would have loved to lay his back and just sleep, he couldn’t because he was starving seriously. That was when he realized that he had almost spent more than forty eight hours without either food or water.

He groaned and held his tummy before finding his way out of the room. As he walked, he was looking around, not as if he knows where exactly he was going but still he never had something to eat or he might just die at that very moment.

Everyone he walked past kept staring at him, some would laugh and some would give him a disgusting look, well of course he knows he was looking crazy. His long hair looked so scattered, his dress was half torn and covered with blood, he have no shoes on and him legs had dried blood all over, above all he was looking super small and skinny compared to everyone else in the castle.

But Jimin cared less that very moment, he need to eat first, even if it’s a fruit, just to save his life.

Suddenly, a sweet aroma from nowhere passed in front of his nose and he stopped.

*Meat!!!* Shin shouted and Jimin swallowed.

When last has he smelt meat?? Talk more of eating it??

*What are you waiting for?! Find it!* Shin said hungrily.

*Shin, this is the Alpha’s castle, if we get caught, we are both dead* Jimin said.

*If you don’t eat something, I can’t promise you anything, we will end up still dying* Jimin replied and Jimin swallowed hard.

He turned to where the aroma came from and began walking toward it.

Soon enough, he got to the kitchen and it was empty.

“Where’s everyone?” Jimin muttered and his eyes caught with the boiled meat inside the bowl.

*hurry up and take one before anyone sees us* Shin said.

Jimin’s stomach made a loud noise and without thinking twice, he rushed to the bowl and took one, he pushed the meat into his mouth at once, not minding the hotness, he began chewing and then took another one, he shoved it into his mouth again which became full at that.

He took the third one and turned to run out, he bumped into two bodies at the door and he fell on the floor.

Jimin looked up and his eyes widened when he saw Haneul and Chul glaring at him hatefully.

He managed to swallow the one in his mouth.

“How dare you!!” Haneul yelled and slapped him immediately.

Chul grabbed his hair and dragged him out of the kitchen with it.

“You thief!” He yelled before throwing him on the floor.

“Ah” Jimin groaned in pain, tears rolling down his eyes.

“You dare come into the kitchen to steal?!”

“I was just….hungry” Jimin said in tears.

“You should just die of hunger!!” Haneul yelled.

Other servants were beginning to move closer toward the scene.

Yeonghon walked quietly beside Alpha Jungkook, Taehyung hasn’t showed up and Jungkook never called for him either.

There was total silence in the air until Jungkook broke it.

“The boy we saw in the wood” he started

“The omega?” Yeonghon asked and Jungkook nodded.

“How did he left the dungeon?” He asked.

“Oh…he was badly injured from silver cuts and he lost his consciousness……”

“Silver??” Jungkook asked.

“Yes, so the Beta ordered me to take him to Wizard Yoongi who healed him, I have no idea how he left the castle” Yeonghon replied.

*You won’t ask how he got the cut?* Adolphus asked Jungkook.

*it’s none of my business* Jungkook replied and Adolphus growled angrily at him.

Jungkook cut him off and continued walking.

Just then, they sighted the maids from afar joined together, then Haneul and Chul hitting someone on the floor.

“What’s going on?” Yeonghon muttered.

The maids saw the Alpha and immediately bowed.

That was when Yeonghon and Jungkook saw Jimin on the ground, he was crying and holding a piece of meat in his hand, his lips already got bursted from the slaps.

“What the f**k” Yeonghon mumbled unbelievably.

“Morning Alpha” Chul and Yeonghon greeted with a bow.

Jimin looked up as he heard that, his eyes met with Jungkook’s cold expressionless eyes and he didn’t look away.

“What happened exactly? Who are you to treat him like that?!” Yeonghon snapped at Haneul and Chul.

“He’s a thief! He stole meats from the castle kitchen!” Chul said.

“Alpha” Yeonghon turned to Jungkook whose eyes were still on Jimin.

“Let him go” He simply said and walked away.

Yeonghon immediately ran to Jungkook.

“Hey, are you okay?” He asked and Jimin broke into more tears.

Nothing in this life hurts more than what happened just now.

*He saw us right?? He saw us* Shin said sadly.

Jimin only cried more harder.

*I’m sorry, it’s my fault, I shouldn’t have suggested you eat the meat* Shin said.

“What is he still doing here in the palace anyway?” Chul hissed.

Yeonghon looked up with an angry glare.

“Shut up, will you?”

They rolled their eyes and walked away.

“Hey get up” Yeonghon helped Jimin up.

“Thanks” Jimin wiped his tears.

“Are you hungry?” Yeonghon asked and he immediately shook his head.

“You should clean up” Yeonghon said and he nodded.

He started walking.

“Hey” Yeonghon called and he stopped without looking back.

“What’s your name?” Yeonghon asked and he looked at him.

“Jimin” He said.

“I’m Yeonghon” Yeonghon said.

Jimin nodded and walked away slowly with Yeonghon staring at him till he was out of sight.

Jimin opened the door and walked in, he was still in tears but as he entered, he saw the person he least expected at that very moment.

It’s Alpha Jungkook standing right in front of him!!

Jimin sniffed in his tears and stood still, wondering why he was there until he spoke up.

“Do you know?” His voice came so coldly but Jimin understood what he meant.

Gently, he nodded his head and looked down avoiding his eyes.

“Don’t give yourself any hope” Jungkook said and Jimin looked up.

“Don’t expect anything” He added and Jimin summoned the courage to talk.

“W…why?” He asked, staring into his eyes.

“I’m going to reject you” Alpha Jungkook said and Jimin could feel a painful sting in his heart.

“I……”

“I won’t change my mind, so leave the castle before dawn” Alpha Jungkook said at once and walked out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Jimin’s lips trembled as he tried his best to control his tears but they came rolling down straight on his cheeks.

He just got rejected….By his Mate.
