I go home feeling sick.

"Aunt Nancy, where's the phone book?"

"On the shelf in the living room, dear."

I go into the living room and locate the book. I flip through the pages, find Ringo's family name, and grab the phone. I dial the number before placing the phone to my ear, nervously playing with the cord.

"Hello?"

The voice is low and gruff, not sounding like Ringo at all.

My free hand flies up to my mouth as I gasp.

Ringo's father.
